Good store, never had any issues with any of the workers there. The Boars Head products are out of this world. Very good quality meats and fruits. Seafood has always been tops, but since Biden, cant afford it anymore. Clean, professionally run, good staff. A good store to shop.

Today on October 29th 2021 at approximately 12:27 p.m., Cashier, Cassie F. was very unprofessional during my visit at customer service. I gave her lottery tickets to run for me and then I walked away like I have always done for years.When I returned she stated that she had not run the tickets and I asked why and she said because she had customers in line. I was confused wasnt l a customer standing in line.If she knew she had people in line why would she wait until I walk off and not say anything and not run my tickets!!! Very nasty attitude.

This Publix is the best Publix on the Island! I used to go to the other one on North Courtenay Pkwy, but I changed to this one because the employees are more friendly and you can find more items here than the other store. This stores deli and got food case is open later as well. The other Publix every time I would go to order a sub they would be out of bread. Not this store, theyve always got plenty of fresh bread for subs as well as anything you want in the hot case. You can call in orders of things that arent already prepared and theyll cook it for you. I suggest this Publix over the other one on the Island.

Went in to grab some bread from the bakery. The fruit and vegetables looked super fresh, I had to grab some grapes while I was there. Very fresh and crunchy.

Bait and switch. I went online to check the stock of an item and when I got there, they had a different item stocked in the wrong place on the shelf. Complete waste of time. I had to go to a different grocery store to get what I wanted and it was cheaper there anyway.

Would not recommend the Produce Department at the First Merritt Square store in Merritt Island. I don’t know why I keep giving them so many chances…I guess only because of convenience. Their produce always tends to go bad WAY sooner than it should—often by the next morning or even later the same day. Getting a refund is never convenient at that point. Produce departments at most other Publix stores I’ve been to (all over FL) have a much better selection as well as cleaner, better organized, and better overall quality produce than this store does.

Lots of fresh produce, deli is great and love the bakery. Always clean with helpful staff.

Muano...or whatever his name was in the deli should be re-trained. Do not let that man make your sub for you...unless of coarse you prefer your cheese and toppings to be on only 1/3 of your sandwich. Also, if you dont like someone that takes 25 mins to make 2 cold subs steer clear of that employee. Ask for another person to make your sandwich!! Other then my experience with Mua....whatever his name I love this store!

Beautiful, clean, brightly lit grocery store. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Prices are going to be a little higher than what youd find in a big brand store, but its well worth the extra few cents.

I love Publix of course its higher but you get help and good quality food also best employees that arent rude.

I appreciate they have a police officer but I do not appreciate the police officer watching my every move and following me around the store. Im a regular customer here (I shop here multiple times per week). They need to do their job and leave the paying customers alone.

I have always had a pleasant experience at this Publix until today, the cashier caused a huge scene and made me feel really embarrassed because I was in the express line and she had to call for help with bagging because I probably had 11 items and thats not counting the baby squeeze foods That that make it looks like you have more items than what you do but anyways she made a huge deal about it and telling me The next time I need to go to a different line and was pretty flat out rude with a mean look on her face

I was a little surprised at the price difference when I checked a bottle of Biotin priced at 11.99 at Publix and 6.98 at Walmart. No honor a price break. I still love Publix just gotta watch!

It is, like most publix stores, clean and filled with friendly workers which may be the reason its so crowded all the time. Though being crowded it still is very efficient and the workers get you through check out extremely fast. Theyre a friendly bunch at this publix store not a lot of sniping and tongue wagging like at the North Courtenay Publix so the deli seems to be a quick in and out with the lack of gossiping by the workers.All in all well worth the trip.

A bit too pricey but got what others dont have

On duty staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Store was clean and well stocked. There were some off duty employees that I recognized that were not following the posted safety rules. Some customers also were not following the posted safety rules. Most were. Of course that is their choice.

It is always a pleasure to visit this store. Super clean, kind employees and good service. It is out of our area but we dont mind traveling for great service.

If I could give 0 stars I would I am completely and utterly frustrated with Publix’s pharmacy. Any time I’ve came in to pick up a prescription I’ve been told it would be ready in 15 minutes and they’ve had me waiting hours. Yesterday at 3:30 my child’s father was picking him up a prescription because our child’s very sick the pharmacy had him waiting 2 hours and it still wasn’t ready my bf drove to Melbourne to go to his other sons basketball game and came back to Merritt island to get the prescription at 8:50 at night and IT STILL WASNT READY, and they told him to pick it up the following day.

I over herd employees complaining that masks were coming back to Publix. Im on there side. If i have to wear a mask to shop. This was my last trip! I and many others will boycott.

The store was well stocked. I was surprised after purchasing almost $300 and wearing a neck brace I was not asked if I needed help. I did need some but I was dismissed to take care of everything myself. On the way to my car some paper towels fell off my cart. I picked them up then an employee gathering carts asked if I needed help. I was super grateful for his help.I understand social distancing but sometimes compassion and common sense should be used in determining if someone may actually need some help.

They dont always have the specials in stock. Prices are too high compared to other grocery stores like WalMart or Aldi. Staff is friendlyand store is clean.

All I wanted was a rotisserie chicken and they were out. Why are their English muffins four times the cost of Aldis English muffins?

This store is so clean and their Deli is delicious. But just be careful, certain deli items such as the Greek pasta salad are kind of bland, so expect to add seasoning!

I commend the Thanksgiving Holiday staff at Publix today. What a joy it was to get my last minuteshopping done so fast. Though I looked all over for the cheese cloth to baste my turkey and the pepper jelly for my appetizer- ugh! No luck- then I flaged down a friendly man in the green Iconic shirt who was overseeing stockers- he gladly took me right to the cheese cloth. Feeling lucky, I hailed a busy lady manager in customer service and she happily took me right to the pepper jelly. Check- out was a breeze with the efficient and sun-shinney check-out lady. I was beaming as I sprinted out to my car waving and thanking the the Publix people scurrying around the exit area. This Publix gets better every year. Thank you!

The store itself I used to love but the pharmacy very rude pharmacist who basically told me I needed to figure out how to find my own medication yet Im pretty sure thats a pharmacy and thats their job she told me I was being rude to her because I challenged her on what she was saying to me so just dont go there they dont care about you or your health they care about their agenda
