Great experienceHad an issue with Tire pressure monitor coming on for one of my tires. They checked out the tire thoroughly and found no leak. It gave me peace of mind that my tire was okay. This was my first time visiting Performance Automotive & Tire Center for my synthetic oil change and let me just say I was beyond impressed! Randy who assisted me throughout the appointment was so friendly and positive, also explained everything to me in detail! While I waited for my car to be done, I sat in a very nice waiting area with cold refreshments and snacks available - it was extremely nice! I also was texted a report about 45 minutes in to my appointment with my car’s health - the report included red areas that need urgent attention, yellow areas that aren’t urgent but to be made aware of, and a green section of everything that passed the health inspection. The red areas also included pictures - for example my vehicle needed a new cabin air filter and a picture was taken of my current one, I also need a new serpentine/drive belt - I was provided with a picture of the current cracked belt. I really appreciated the pictures and the report, it was very helpful! I’ve never had that thorough of a report before at any other automotive shop! I highly highly recommend service here! Ive been a Performance Automotive customer for several years Professional and attention to detail are two attributes that come to mind when speaking about Performance Automotive. Had to have a new positive terminal clamp replaced on a battery swap made by AutoZone. Everything was up and running in short order - and Performance Automotive technician even reprogrammed the clock radio :-) Like I said, professional and attention to detail.

Found and awesome deal on Groupon for an oil change and alignment. Figured I would check them out. I’m glad I did. From how well they keep the shop, to the waiting area and the customer service! I was blown away! This shop is 25 mins from my house and I can say this is where I will be bringing my car for all its maintenance. You guys have definitely gained a new customer!! These guys are amazing! I went in to have my belts changed a few months ago, but had to take it in a few times to have it adjusted because they continued to squeal when I started up my vehicle. They always took me right in and adjusted them without any hassle, in and out. Since I had to keep coming for adjustments they offered to go ahead and replace the belts! They called me as soon as the parts were in and I was in and out in half an hour. I DO NOT WRITE REVIEWS BUT THESE GUYS ARE AMAZING!!! THANKS AGAIN!!!

These guys really know how to keep their customers. Great attitudes, great customer service, they didnt try to haggle me to make me pay things I didn’t want to pay for, very fast service. Complementary drinks, energy drinks, soda, water, snacks very clean waiting area with tv. Also it was nice they offered a courtesy shuttle in case of an emergency. High praise for this shop. Excellent customer service and communication. Pickup broke down while passing through Mesa, had it towed very late in the day to the shop. They took a look at it on very short notice on a holiday weekend on top of that. If I lived in the area I would definitely use them again.

Randy was happy to help work around my families busy schedule in order to get us in. I really liked that when they performed the inspection they sent a report with pictures showing what the issues were. Randy helped inform me on which repairs were the most important for safety and then which ones I may be able to go a little more without it being a safety risk. Great oil change price! On top of that, they did a quick inspection of my car to make sure that everything was running smoothly. Randy is always there with a smile and happy attitude which makes the experience always so enjoyable.

Great shop. Randy that manages the service counter is awesome, knows his stuff, gives great service and pricing is fair. Never had any problems with any work done here, its always done right the first time. Waiting area is clean and offers free snacks, water and soda if you are waiting while your service is being completed. For larger repairs they have loaner cars for free, just need to replenish the gas. I really cant say enough good things about this place.

I called in to see if I could get an appointment but they took me that day. I got shocks and my axle fixed within about 3 1/2hrs time. Did great work! I’m happy and my car is happy.

I have used this company for many years and Randy is back. I will never use any other auto but Performance Auto. They are ultra honest, prices are better than any one in the business, and do excellent, quality and dependable work. Their prices are so good I will go there instead to the dealer, even for some warranty work.

I was on Groupon looking for a special on an oil change for my vehicle I ran across performance automotive and tire center so I gave them a try. The waiting area was comfortable and offered complementary drinks and snacks while service was being performed. They did a good job with my oil service and gave me a estimate on some work they needed to be done with my vehicle. The estimate was a bit pricey, but it is more or less comparable to other high-end automotive centers the manager was very informative and respectful.

I went in for a routine oil change that I bought on Groupon and they got me in earlier than my appointment time. They did an inspection on my truck and found a leak nothing super major I was given a quote and it was a super great price. I had an issue with a rattle which sounded like something loose. I was quote for a quick 30 minute check over of the truck about $65 which isnt bad and in less than 5 minutes found the issues. When they thought I would need a new cat converter I was worried about the expenses and come to find out just a loose bracket that they tightened and saved me $1100. Awesome customer service and very friendly. Will definitely be coming back.

I got my oil change a couple of days ago and they didn’t put my lid back on, so now my engine is probably dirty due to THE LACK OF ATTENTION TO DETAIL on the shop, actually shouldn’t they have check their job once everything has been done? I mean That’s just a basic step, but therefore now I have to make time to go back to place which will take up about 2-3 of my morning just to get this sort it out AGAIN. I can’t believe they didn’t check the car after the oil change that just blows my mind, what if this were my brakes or any other major repair, would this have been the case I could’ve been involved in a accident.

They took care of my right side flat tires and supplied a tow truck. Went out of the way to make sure I had the proper tites for my vehicke. Thank you Performance.

Let me start off by saying...This was the best car experience I have everrrrr had! Being new to AZ & trying to find a good service center has been hard, due to the pandemic and appointment system. I dropped my car off on my lunch break for an oil change & some other minor maintenance & was greeted by Randy. They sent me my inspection list via text. So I was able to see everything they did. They uploaded pictures of parts and Ect...I love their system. By the time I got off work my car was ready. I tried catching an Uber back but there wasn’t one close enough, so I called and the owner Tony came & got me from work in a shuttle! They also have refreshments and snacks in the lobby for the ones who wait!!! I am very big on customer service and these guys went above and beyond! 10 Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I never met so polite people in my life the mechanic was very polite and so was the guy was running the place I would recommend this place to anybody very very professional very reasonable price very clean business I know what I can say more I would say five stars I will come back and see the place anytime

My family has been going to this shop for almost 20 years, but as of September 2020 I will no longer be a customer. This shop use to be fantastic under the first owner, and all the service people cared about you and your car. After several shop owners now Performance are those money grubbing mechanics that say things need to get replaced when they don’t. For instance the struts on my car were said they needed to be replaced for $2000, and a I call my cars’ dealer and they quoted $1200. Of course I am going to go for the $800 savings, but then when the dealer’s mechanic looked at it he said “my struts are bone dry, and there’s no reason to replace them”. I used to tell all my friends that needed a trustworthy mechanic to go to performance auto parts, but sadly those days are gone.

Update in response to owner: Your own service adviser said the parts were priced due to the quality of the part. It has nothing to do with your overhead. That can be factored in with a markup of 50-100%, not 300% and 376%. That is just not truthful or factual. Be honest! Read your recent reviews, they same the same thing as me.In case I am deemed a fake customer, my invoice number is 95586, paid on 12/28/2020. I would not recommend this place at all. When I was called back with the repair estimate, I pushed back on the cost of the replacement parts. I was told it was $103 each for a crankshaft sensor, a Delphi part number SS11382, of which I needed two. The other part was a plenum gasket, a Mahle brand part number MS19878 for $79. I instantly felt like I was being ripped off and questioned again the price of these parts. I understand there may be a little bit added on for a delivery fee, mark up, etc. In doing my own research, I have found both of these parts ready available at OReillys and other auto parts stores for a fraction of the price. The Delphi sensor is listed at $34.99 meaning this store is charging me 300% for this part. I also imagine they have a wholesale account making it even cheaper for them than the retail price. The other part is listed at part stores for $21, meaning I was paying 376% increase over retail price. Again, I feel this store way overcharged me and then lied to me when I pushed back on the cost of the parts. Please avoid this store and find someone else that will not take advantage of you.

Went in for an oil change and realized this operation is so much more. Great service. They offer a cold beverage from a walk up cooler as you wait. When waiting on your vehicle, there are plenty of places nearby to shop and wander..Burlington, Best Buy and the Mall. They also have an app that gives you a complete update of your cars maintenance history and areas where your car may need help. All done electronically in a text link or to an app. More than happy with the service here.

I got a Groupon and called and got in the next day. These guys are very professional, well organized, clean, and fast! No belaboring on the up sell; just the facts. I’m going back for my next oil change.

I went to get my oil changed at another repair shop and they let me know my water pump was leaking and they wanted to charge me $1000 to fix it. I called many repair places and they were trying to charge me just that much and they couldnt get me in for another week when this was urgent. I happened to stumble across this place and I worked with the owner Toni, he was absolutely amazing. I let him know what was going on and he gave me a price that was so reasonable and lower then most and it was nice to not be taken advantage of as a female that has no idea about cars and the cost. It was so stressful and toni stayed so late after he was closed to get me in the next day and even let me use a spare car they have so I can still drive around while my vehicle was being replaced.Toni went above and beyond for me and I see these reviews that say other wise and the price is not fair but let me tell you after dealing with so many other shops and then getting Toni to help resolve my issues and get me taken care of there was nothing better I can say. They treated me like a human being not like I was just money. Hands down I found my repair shop 🙌 unfortunately car repairs are not cheap but I am glad to know I will not be taken advantage of when it comes to the cost and quality and customer service.

Oil change was great. However you do not do transmission flushes” on all cars. The fluid can be changed but a flush is dangerous for the transmission. So make sure before you pay $300 they charge for a “flush” it’s ok to do on your car. Just advice Take it or leave it. :).

I had an emergency situation where my alternator and battery were totally bad, thankfully I made it home from work and called them in the am, now mind you this is 2 days before Christmas and they said go ahead and have it towed and they would do there best to work me in. My truck was totally repaired by 1pm. This is the place to go to for your repairs they are totally awesome and treat you like family, very honest place of business. I highly recommend them. Kevin was fantastic and I met Tony the owner. Super people. Thank you very much for what you did for me today.

I am impressed with the personnel at Performance Automotive and the owner. They are so kind and dont roll their eyes when you admit you dont know what a CAM sensor is, instead they take the timer to explain. They are very thorough and leave it up to you to decide what you want repaired. They take photos of the parts needing fixed/ repaired, and they are uploaded into a permanent file you can access. The file also tells what the part is for.When an engineer diagnostics its required $100, they knock that off the cost if you get your auto repaired with them.And they arent out to cheat anyone. The owner would never allow it and neither would the staff he hires. I highly recommend this place for auto repairs ... and TIRES!And ladies, you never have to worry about getting taken advantage of here because the owners wife has a very strong opinion about automotive shops taking women to the cleaners. It wont happen here!

I had the best experience at this garage! I brought both of my vehicles in for synthetic oil changes with a Groupon deal I got and was very impressed by the professionalism and customer service I received. I enjoyed the pictures and updates I got while they were working on my vehicle. The prices were fair and they were able to get both vehicles in within a timely manner. Being a female, I often feel taken advantage of upon leaving a garage due to my lack of knowledge regarding vehicles. But that was not the case with Performance Automotive & Tire Center.I felt like all the facts were presented to me and I was not pressured to do any additional work to my vehicles.I will definitely be coming back!

Very fast and super friendly service! They replaced my water pump in my 2012 Charger RT. They were very reasonably priced, and super convenient, having loaner cars readily available while they fixed my car! My car was done within 3 hours of drop off! Invoice was easy to read, and included all pricing on the parts and labor. I will definitely come back for any work outside of my warranty! And i would highly recommend this place to anyone!

Had a groupon for the shop. I was pleasantly surprised and impressed. Service was fast, all employees were friendly, and there was in no way the classic mechanic upsell. Im from out of state and would love to have a shop like this around. You should take full advantage of the honesty of this shop. If the customer service isnt enough then just compare their deals. I can guarantee the other places will add $20+ in fees. Do yourself a favor and check them out.

Really great service. No shady pressure to fix things on my car that dont really need to be worked on. They send you a digital inspection link that includes photos and technician notes. Ive never seen anything like it! The whole process felt very transparent and keeps the technicians accountable, which is very rare to come by in the world of automotive repair. I will be returning here for future work on my car.

I originally came here for an oil change off of a Groupon and now I have come back multiple times for subsequent oil changes and other repairs. This is the first mechanic shop I actually make sure to return to and consider my car repair place. Ive never felt pressured after an inspection was done and potential repairs were mentioned, even when they communicated very important repairs. The prices have always been very fair and competitive. The customer service is awesome! The free loaner car has been very helpful so I could still work while getting my car repaired and it is nice they have a comfortable waiting area with complimentary refreshments. Give them a try!

Service then Struts, required. Had one quote from a competitor and Performance beat their price, provided a loaner car even though only used to go home and back, without a ton of paperwork. Have taken our 2006 Mazda 3 here for over almost two years and have no complaints. Great service! Tony and his staff do great work. They got my car into the garage late in the same day I walked in for a leaking rear transmission seal. They finished the job on time the next afternoon, and on budget at a very competitive price. This is my second encounter with this crew, both very positive in all respects. I highly recommend them!

Instead of dreading to get my oil changed every time, they have a fun and laid back atmosphere in the waiting room with free drinks (water, soda, coffee, etc.) and a TV. Performance was a great, reliable auto shop when Brian and Randy were there. The day they left it went downhill fast! I have been in several times since they left to get just an oil change and there were 3-5 bays open with guys talking in the garage and front area and it was an hour plus to get my oil changed. This last time I went in for several items and Bill at the front desk did not even have the professionalism to have my vehicle inspected to see what all needed to be done and make sure he had all the parts. He went by notes in his computer system that were over a month old. What he said would be a 6 hour job was going to turn into a 2 day job if I would have let them have their way. When I went in to pick up my truck I asked Bill what he was going to do for me to keep my business since I had been going there longer than he has been employed there and he laughed and said none of it is his fault. Bill was called out on his lack of auto mechanic professionalism as was Brett the manager or what ever he is. The old guy in the back office came out and showed even less professionalism and would not even listen to how the shop is now run. The new staff is lacking in automotive experience and customer relations. I know they are now trying to blame me for what was said but they lost several very loyal customers. The old man, Brett and Bill are ruining this business that was once well run by Brian and Randy.

I had the misfortune of a rat crawling in my engine compartment and eating the wire and casing to one of my fuel injectors. I am the proverbial little old lady. Most service centers take one look at me and bump the price and the required work up 3 notches. Not Tony and his work force. They tell me what is necessary and what I need to watch out for in the future. They never hard sell me. Not only that but they explain what needs to be done in language that I understand. When I look at the other customers with muscle cars who are turning their autos over to these same guys, I can believe they are honest and open with me. Then after service, I receive a follow up call just to check that everything is to my satisfaction! I know I am in good hands. What a great place to get work done. They have free loaners for even minor repairs, snacks and drinks for free and when you buy 1 oil change they give you 2 for FREE! They seem to be very honest and are NOT pushy when it comes to getting repairs done like some mechanics. I will ALWAYS go back to these guys first before anywhere else.
