I took my bike in for a tuneup. It was done the next day! They were very thorough, finding some needed repairs I had not thought of. My only advice is that they really need at least one person out on the floor at all times to cheerfully greet people and to be attentive to their needs. I found my way to the back of the store, where employees were all behind a counter (not serving customers). If you want to take in internet sellers, you really have to focus on enriching the experience to give people a reason to choose you, IMHO.

Recently on a trip to AZ I had some bike issues, I thought it was a derailleur issue and was going to replace it. Instead of just selling me the part and letting me on my way they asked if they could see the bike as they would rather fix the issue for me and lose a sell then to sell me a part that would not fix the issue. In the end I was wrong and I saved the money. It was a few mins before someone was able to help me but they were clearly busy. If someone left a review about leaving because they were not helped it is likely because they are an entitled and impatient. If someone left a bad review about pricing they should look for other sports as equipment for snowboarding and biking is expensive. If someone left a bad review because it took too long to get parts, for the past 12 months bike stores have been getting killed and manufactures can not keep up with the demand for parts and new bikes.

This place is a snowboarders dream! Their staff is knowledgeable and friendly, they have a good selection of purchasable demo board rentals for only $45 and no deposit. That is with bindings too! Not to mention the star of the show and shop dog, Shaka 🤙🏼 Who doesn’t want to pet a cute dog while shopping? So glad I finally found a local shop I can support with my snowboarding needs!Pro tip: avoid ski pro at all costs haha! If it weren’t for their trash service I would of never found this amazing shop!

Needed an ankle strap for my union bindings but was having trouble finding any in stock this late in the season. Ordered some from there website and they were shipped out the next morning. There was a small mix up and I ended up receiving a size I didnt order but they were quick to fix their error and correct it for me. I really appreciated it.

Fantastic service! I walked in with less than an hour to closing the night before Thanksgiving and these guys took care of me. I had visited another local bikeshop that night to purchase a bike and Action Rideshop also had the best prices--on the exact same bikes--and so many more bikes to choose from. We have rented skis from Action Rideshop for over ten years. Thsy are always professional and helpfull. Thier prices are better than any we have come across. We have moved to south Gilbert and go out of our way to rent our skis from them.

One of the best shops in the state, hands down. I purchased two full suspension bikes from Josh, who is a true professional in the industry. I visited other shops, but none had the customer service, knowledgeable staff, and selection of high quality bikes that Action has. I will not hesitate to go back to Josh in future for anything action sports related!

Best bike shop around. I lost my Kobalt thru axle for a 2021 Fox shock and no bike shop carries that spare part yet. They hooked me up with a great Pivot rental and set it up properly (which most bike shops dont do) and even sold me a replacement axle off one of their floor bikes knowing they could easily reorder one from Fox. This is the only bike shop Ill be using in the area.

After having consistently bad customer service experiences with a popular bike shop in Gilbert, we took our business elsewhere. Going to Action Rideshop was an excellent decision! Whoever taught their staff customer service skills needs to be rewarded. They listen, they don’t try to upsell you a thousand things, and they don’t treat you like you are bothering them. I bought my son a bike there a few weeks ago, and just bought my wife one this weekend. These are awesome bikes, and their maintenance service is peerless. They have great prices, a huge selection, and most importantly, they serve you with a genuine smile. Customer for life!

Good staff and selection in the store. Products you can buy are always high quality and the staff are knowledgeable, and help you find the right product for you. Loved the skis and poles when I was renting, Id recommend you ask for the 4 buckle ski boots if youre looking for a tighter ankle fit, the two strap was a little loose on my ankles. Definitely ask if you dont quite like the fit on your equipment, they have lots of options and are willing to work with you. Ive rented four or so times from them, and they are always great.

Rented snowboarding gear for myself and 3 kids for a 2 day trip to Sunrise. Really great staff and reasonable prices. Renting local in advance of your trip saves lots of time and hassle than renting at the mountain.

Not only does this place have everything (and more!) but the staff is unbelievably friendly. I tried on several pairs of cycle shoes and the gentleman helping me was really patient and knowledgeable. He put the cleats on my shoes and even told me what kind of Alan wrench to use. Last but not least was the local celebrity pup Buddy. So cute and sweet to my 4-year old daughter. I look forward to having a reason to go back!

One stop shop for everything you need before heading off to the slopes. Great rates on rental gear and it was nice to already have passes prior to getting to the ski resort. Rented Adult and kids gear but felt the kids gear should have been a little less than adults but it was still nice and convenient. Also, they have a bus that leaves from the shop that will take you to the ski resorts that would be something fun to take one day. I will visit again!

Very impressed! Said hello when I came in and asked me what they could do for me. They were able to fit my boots to my bindings and make the necessary DIN adjustments while I was at the store. Definitely going back for any additional gear and tune ups for my skis!

I am so happy that adventure bikes didn’t go out of business they just sold their inventory to Action Rideshop. I started using adventure bike shop over global bikes because I just liked the vibe better & they weren’t as busy. The techs & salespeople come across as honest & respectable. They deserve the business.

Backwards rear shock and a seal that comes off my front fork with a cycle thru NOT EVEN A RIDE!!!!...This is VERY VERY poor mechanical work..I dont know whats going on but you guys need to fix your mechanical structure cause this is unacceptable!!!! Not to mention being told a week and waiting 11 days..i understand that you have to order parts but it doesnt take 11 days FOR PARTS in the day in age we are living in ...VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING...BEWARE IF YOU ARE GETTING MECHANICAL WORK DONE HERE...JUST WOW

Went into the business in my wheelchair, and they were helpful right from the get-go. I let them know I was going to try and attach a mountain bike tire to use on my wheelchair, and they were extremely helpful trying to make it happen. They were not aware it could be done, and were just as intrigued as I was. I would send anybody in there to have service on there bike done, or to purchase a new one. Although, their bikes are very high-end and the price tag that goes with them. I did not spend any time over in the ski, snowboard, or skateboard section though, but it looked very clean. The whole shop was very well taken care of inside, and I had no issues maneuvering around in a wheelchair.

Prices on bikes are exaggerated, but the supplies like slime, tubes, CO2 canisters, & etc is pretty good. The price for basic service is rather high, but thats what you get for not doing it yourself. Keep in mind they do have to make a living. :P Recommend going here for replacement parts and/or advice. The guys here are laid back and honest. If you need maintenance done, you know theyll get it done right.

This is a great company with people who care. I brought my tire for a flat repair. I thought I would have to leave it and retrieve it tomorrow. The repair man grabbed it out of my hand and fixed it within 6 minutes. I thought I would have to pay $20, but I had to pay $10. I realized a needed a $1 part after I paid. He said; do you have a dollar - I said I am a no cash kind of guy. He said; we will catch you next time. Makes me want to go back. Makes me think - these people are good at it; and they will be good at it for a long time (you keep treating your people like that).

Took my nephew to purchase a pro scooter. This store us amazing, has everything. Bikes scooters, snowboards and all the accompanying equipment and clothing. The staff was knowledgeable and very helpful so we were able to select the appropriate scooter for his needs and skill level.

I rented all of the gear necessary for a family ski trip, from the boots and skis to gloves and goggles they had it all. Quality and well maintained, the only problem is that the poles they selected were too short for me but that was my fault for not checking them before leaving town. The staff was super helpful and knowledgeable about the equipment as well as the location we were going. Couldnt ask for more at a rental shop.

Ive had a great experience with Adventure Bicycle for the past year or so. They were very helpful and patient while I tried to pick out the right bike. Service has been good and more often than not super fast, sometimes even same day. Ive recommended them to friends and family a number of times for any bike purchase or service.

Dude was friendly and informative. The shop was also able to get a wax and tune done next day! After riding this week, Ill definitely come back here for wax and edges. Beats ski pro by a mile.

Great place. Took my brand new Mojo 3 into the shop after taking a spill on it and the shifting was messed up. I am not new to wrenching on mountain bikes been doing it for 10 years but for the life of me I could not get this thing to index both up and down properly. After replacing the rear derailleur hanger it was better but still couldnt get it dialed in. They took my bike in and gave it back to me the same day and when I left it was shifting up and down perfectly. They had made some adjustments to the cable housing and checked the hanger alignment of course. At my request they even put a spare rear derailleur on my bike to rule out the possibility that my brand new derailleur was messed up. I really appreciated that because a new XO derailleur is over $200 and I didnt want to spend the money if I wasnt sure I needed one. The cage might have been tweaked slightly. Anyhow they did all this in one day at a very fair price. I wont hesitate to go back as needed.

Not happy with my experience at this bike shop. I brought in my bike to have the front tire repaired, it was flat. Service was prompt and I left in about 10 minutes with what I thought was a repaired tire. That was on a Tuesday. I needed to bring my car in for brake service and was going to use my bike on the return trip since I had to leave the car. On Thurs I checked the tires before I put the bike into the van and they were both firm. I brought my van in for service and proceeded to ride my bike home. I remained on the sidewalk the entire time which was clear with no debris. After a mile something did not feel right so I checked the front tire that they repaired and it was flat. I am NOT young, and I have a torn meniscus in my knee. I had to walk the 5 miles left to get home and I was not happy. The tire should have been repaired properly in the first place. I called them and they did apologize and said he didnt know what was wrong with it. I would just have to bring it back again. I will bring it to another bike shop and the repair money I spent there was just a loss.

I visited this shop to buy a mountain bike.A staff Mr. Bryce was really kind and courteous, and eventually I could get a nice one.He supported me and corresponded to my requests honestfully.It is worth visiting to this shop just to talk to him about bicycles.

Always friendly. I started bringing my snowboard here for wax and service. Way cheaper, nicer, faster, and better job performed than ski pro.

My brakes didnt work the same when I left. I took it back and immediately got an excuse instead of owning up to it. Basically I felt like they were calling me a liar. I came in originally without my bike looking for new tires. I was quoted 28$ which sounded great. When I actually came in they said I had a flat tube in the rear which was odd because I rode it there and for months i never had a flat. I ended up paying 65+. First impression is everything. Bad service and I felt like they took advantage of me.

I came in with my son. There was one customer and 4 employees. I looked around for 20 minutes and nobody even said hello. I finally asked an employee if they were even open, and he says yea what do you need? I went home and ordered better stuff from amazon for a third of the price.

I am new to the area. A few weeks ago I called around to some other shops closer to me to see if I could walk in and have a headset pressed into a bare frame and one was like I think so, but my manager does that and another was booked out a week, which I get, but this does not take any longer than changing a flat, so I was surprised and I know because I have worked in or managed a bike shop for several years. So when I had some time I drove around to check out the vibe of some shops I did not call and ABC gave me the warm fuzzies. My lower cup had seized so bad I could not get it out. I new it was going to tough even with the proper tools, it took them a bit but got it out and the cups and Crown race pressed in, in about 20 minutes, while I checked out the shop. I have been to 4 or 5 shops and called a few others, ABC was the best experience so far in the Mesa/Gilbert area

My friend that is 82 years old came into this shop to buy a new rim. They did not have the correct rim in Stock so convinced him they had one that would work. The incorrect rim continues to sheer the stem off every few days leaving him stranded. I have taken him in to have it fixed three times. When I told them they had taken advantage of my friends age, I was asked how them providing him a free service of repairing the sheered inner tube was taking advantage. They created the problem in the first place. So next time I will take my friend to a good bike shop.

I went into this bike shop today and was amazed! i received the best customer service from the second i walked through the door. they had all my parts i needed besides one but they were able to order that which was no big deal. what a great atmosphere this bike shop is and especially to be open on sundays was a huge plus!! I will definitley be returning for all my bike needs and will recommend this shop to everyone i meet.

This is a good shop - go there for honest help with your bike issues.I kept having flats, so I went in for advice. The employees and owners told me to get slime, and how to avoid some of the flats (duh on my part). They recommended against the heavy upsells that I walked myself into and instead helped me pick out simple solutions at a great price.Their shop was packed with all kinds of goodies for the avid biker, and for the weekend rider like me too. Thanks Bill!Oh - and if you think all these great reviews are from employees, just click the names. It shows what other people have reviewed. How many employees can they have anyway? lol. I would more think that the people leaving negative reviews are other bike shops! If I had an army of dedicated employees, Im sure my bike shop would rock too.

I was driving by and I noticed a bunch of bikes out front it looks kinda like a chucky cheese on the outside.....I figured what the hell...Id stop in, reason being I needed more tubes for my bike anyway.... So I chatted up one of the guys in there and I told him how I was fighting with thorns....He told me of a couple options. I decided on some carbon fiber tire liners. I cant remember the brand. Initially I thought they were kinda pricey at 40.00 bucks i was going back and forth about the price but decided to bite the bullet 600 miles later not a single flat MONEY WELL SPENT!!! So thanks Adventure,not only for having what I didnt know I needed, but giving me a small education and helping me make the right choice on my own..

My wife and I went in looking for entry level bikes to ride around town. Bill was great! He showed us bikes that were exactly what we were looking for and never once tried to up sell us to more expensive models. We couldnt be happier with our bikes or the service we received.

I think Seth was helping me (per receipt) today. He was in the shop but saw me looking around and jumped in to help. He gave me great advice that saved me a ton of time and frustration regarding a BMX half-link chain. I purchased a chain and a tool for a price competitive with the internet and quite a bit lower than other shops in town.Thanks for the help!I recommend this shop for BMX, but they have all types of bikes.

Awesome place, first time I went in there I had called ahead of time asking if they had any chain ring bolts. I guess over time of riding I lost one. Well sure enough I went down and they just gave me one. Didnt charge me or anything. So fast forward to today, I dropped off my bike and took my bike in for a tune up. I told them Id like a new chain as I had taken out a link on mine and that it was at least 1-2 years old. They suggested I replace the rear cassette too. Which I had no problem doing as it is recommended. I also informed them I had a crack on the rear derailleur bottom pulley and they replaced that for me rather than having me buy a new rear derailleur. I went and picked up my bike just a bit ago and feels very smooth. shifts smooth. The new cassette he said will be a lot better for climbing in. I will test that out here in a bit at Hawes. I mentioned my front brakes as I was picking up the bike and did not mention an issue with them when I dropped off my bike. They test road my bike and suggested maybe new pads. *good thing I have some here at my house so I will swap those and see if it resolves an issue I failed to mention to them. Also he noticed my rear shock was not locking out and suggested I bring it back after my trip to Big Bear which is next week. He said that Craigs going to be working for them from Industry bikes. *which is great for me as I used to take my bike their before.I will be going back to see what all they say and suggest.

Had service done on 2 bikes and bought a bunch of supplies as well. 1 of my bikes is worse than when I took it in. no thank yous, no sorrys. I will not come back again unfortunately. Too bad, I spend a lot on bikes, gear and great service.
