I’ve been informed of a guy possibly working there named Corey. Watch out!!! You’ll be dead on the water and have multiple extra charges. I know from experience. He tried to start his own Bolder Boats (not the Boulder boats we loved) after they fired him. He looks the part and you wouldn’t second thought it if you didn’t know. Blows up engines all day haha. 2 stars just because of that possibility.
The team at Central Marine knows excellent customer service. I had some concerns on my bill and the service department listened and we work together to find a suitable agreement. The service department then took about an hour of time to go over several things on my boat I never knew about. Great place to go!!
Nice place but mentions sea doo products online which they have none of- made a ride out for nothing 😔
I would like to thank Nick and Nathan from Century marine for helping us out on Saturday with our Fi23 boat issues on wiring connection on number 7 injector. Nick was on phone with us and instructed us how to check the wiring. Our boat is working great again - it was just loose wire connection on #7 !!! Had my entire family on boat that day on Lake Pleasant and we all ended up having fun !! Thank you for saving our day. Highly recommend Century Marine!!!! best service in the valley!!
We have been boat owners for over 10 years, so have seen a dealer or two. Our experience with Century Marine has been nothing but excellent! Our initial impression was formed a year before we even bought a boat from them. We stopped into the showroom to take a look around and get an idea of what we might be interested in as far as tow/surf boats go. We met Melanie who very was friendly and helpful, spending about 45 minutes talking with us and showing us various boats. No pressure at all.Fast forward a year, we attended the boat show in Scottsdale with plans to purchase. We stopped in at Century first based on the experience we had with them already. Nothing had changed. We were greeted by Melanie and Jesse Baba. They helped steer us into the right boat for our family. A painless purchase, subsequent pick up and demo of the boat. Jesse got me up surfing within a few attempts, and Melanie was great at helping my wife with the surf system and getting the wave dialed in.The service department has also been excellent to work with. We had a few warranty items that needed to be taken care of. Scott and his crew were professional and quick (as quick as can be expected during peak season).I would and already have recommended Century Marine to several of my friends who were in the market for a boat. I know we will continue to be customers for Century for many years. What a great family run business, thanks for an excellent experience!Oh yeah, the boat is pretty good too ;)
Stopped by to check 5/19/21on getting Oil Change & Filter1997 Sea Ray 210, 5.7 L V8I was told No cant do it, we dont work on anything that old anymore. I said at $145. per hour you dont want the work?? No, we still work on Mercruisers, just not that old. We dont sell Sea Ray anymore. Not interested in your business.
Ive had my boats serviced for years with Century Marine AND I recently bought a new boat from them (4/2017). While I could write about their professionalism. five star dealership status, attention to detail, zero run-around when it comes to service, etc., Id prefer to write about something unusual about them... especially for a boat dealership/service shop. Yes they sell and service boats, but over the years Ive realized Century is really in the business of building great relationships. I see them more as friends now who want me informed, served, and happy. Im looking forward to many more years growing our relationship - thank you Century Marine!!
Century Marine has been a great experience for our family. Great friendly people within. Flash forward 3 months after we purchased our boat in May, had a exhaust sensor fail drove 3 hours and was greeted by my 1st name. Pulled my boat into the shade hooked it up to the computer, replaced sensor and i was on my way all within 45 minutes. I strongly recommend this boat shop, great boat inventory. (Not all heroes ware capes)
A few Sundays ago we had our boat out on Canyon Lake with friends, when the trim switch failed and the trim ran all the way up. Whether I used the forward or aft trim switches, nothing would lower the trim. As we were limping back to the marina, one of Century Marines mechanics, Nick, happened to be cruising by, enjoying his day off. Without hesitation, he pulled over to us and asked if we were having problems. When I told him what happened, he immediately asked if he could tie up and check it out.On a Sunday afternoon, when he could have cruised right by and I never would have noticed it was him, Nick stopped and got on board with us to try to fix the issue. We got my tools out, removed the throttle assembly, then checked in the engine compartment. He isolated the issue to a forward wiring or switch fail, disconnected the wiring harness from the trim motor to the throttle switch, and we were then able to use our aft trim switch to once again control the trim and finish our day on the lake.By the time I emailed their office the following day, Nick had already let them know the problem, they had already ordered the part, and had blocked time on the service schedule to get me in for a quick repair. The fact that Nick dropped everything in the middle of his day off, while he was trying to enjoy the lake, to spend 30 minutes helping a customer when he didnt have to is exactly why I am loyal to Century Marine.
I bought a 2015 MB Sports F22 less than a year ago from Century Marine. No mention of not transferring the Indmar Engine Warranty was made at all in the process. Shame on me for not knowing I would need to pursue this myself when dealing with what is supposed to be a reputable boat dealership, but I didnt know to ask. A common problem of defective motor mounts has manifested now...something that would have likely been covered 100% by warranty will now cost me close to $2,000. Thanks Century for slipping that one past me. A real classless move.In your response, you claim you could not perform a warranty transfer for an MB Sports Boat or an Indmar Drivetrain. However, I checked with the local Indmar/MB Sports Boat Dealer this afternoon, and he tells me ANY DEALER can perform this on an Indmar Drivetrain. He said that it is the same for PCM, Ilmoor, and other Marine Drivetrain Manufacturers. You simply need to get the Warranty Transfer Form from Indmar, then perform the requisite engine inspection--just like you would have to for a PCM drivetrain. He says this is common knowledge among reputable boat dealers, and shocking to him that you did not offer to perform the warranty transfer to a lay customer like me at time of purchase. As for your offer to help with Indmar, thank you! I would welcome any help from you to encourage Indmar to act in good faith and stand behind this clear factory defect (the local Dealer showed me SEVERAL defective motor mounts and broken driveshafts from Indmar Drivetrains from 2013 through mid 2015 units [my boat was originally purchased in March 2015], until the Indmar Factory upgraded the defective motor mounts).
Im surprised they have any stars from what I have heard. Im glad I went somewhere else. I would just stress to people to really shop around. There are better options at more affordable prices.
Century Marine has been the absolute worst dealership to work with! We would give them negative stars if we could. We’ve had problems after problems after we bought our boat BRAND NEW. I understand things happen and that’s ok... but fix it. They do not return phone calls or emails, they refuse to fix things that should be under warranty and take no responsibility. When we ask them why they had our brand new boat in the shop for over a month, their response was well that’s what you get for buying a boat. WHAT?! That’s how you treat your customers? The boat was only a month old! We’ve also had to have a couple things fixed the next year because it should be under warranty and it wasn’t until we contacted the corporate office they did the work. Now we have the same problem this year with a surf rack, that they should have fixed last year. First time out this year and it’s still broken. We email and call, they tell us it’s not under warranty. We email them back and still over 2 weeks later, no response. We’ve loved our boat but have had the worst experience with century marine. Proceed with caution!!!
Had a great experience with Century Marine! Melanie was very helpful and knowledgeable about the boats they sell. The service department is also on point. Im definitely glad I found them.
I bought my Centurion RI217 in March and it was the best family investment I have ever made! With four boys at home it’s hard to peel them away from their iPhones and video games. With a sick boat it’s easy to get the boys outside and active. They love getting on the lake to surf, tube and just chill. A boat is a big investment but it’s all about family time and the memories. Thank you to the team at Century Marine!
Absolutely amazing place with great guys and outstanding service! Will highly recommend to all water fun lovers! Thanks as well to Tim for the extra help and to all the others .
I can’t say enough good things about Century Marine! I’ve used them for my marine needs for many years. If you need service, Scott and his crew are honest, knowledgeable and get it done. A few years back we were in need of repairs on our wakeboard boat days before we left for Lake Powell. Scott and his crew saved our vacation and got us on the road just in time!If you’re buying a boat, used or new, Melanie is fantastic! She will find the perfect boat you’re looking for. I bought my boat from Melanie 10 years ago and almost 700 boat hours later, it’s been the best family investment. If you’re looking for an honest family owned boat store, look no further.
We have had and continue to have an exceptional experience at Century Marine. The staff is all very help and knowledgeable. From the very beginning we were very impressed with the customer service. Melanie, who sold us our boat, allowed us to have a relaxed and enjoyable shopping experience as we looked at their impressive inventory. We never felt any pressure to buy a boat but Melanie was there to answer any questions we had. She was patient with me as I am very new to the boat world, and made sure I felt completely comfortable with the decision we made about buying our boat. They delivered our boat on Christmas Eve to our house which was a really fun, exciting way to surprise our kids. Since then, they have been available to help in any way we have needed, from service to operating questions. We were able to participate in a free surfing clinic taught by a pro surfer which was super fun. I will continue to go back to them for any lake needs, and would recommend them to friends, family, and strangers alike.
As a first time buyer, Melanie, Steve, and Matt were great to work with. I had a great experience at Century Marine and highly recommend them.
This is a totally gnarly place to buy a boat, service a boat, or have them sell your boat. If you were wondering where the cool people go to buy their boat, this is the place. Ask for Melanie Bloomfield or Steve Osborne. Totally righteous!
I love Century Marine. When I was younger my parents bought a boat from Century and we were always well taken care of. Now as an adult Ive bought my first boat and bought it from Century. The sales process was smooth, they delivered to my house Christmas eve with a bow on it so we could surprise the kids when they woke up. My Supreme has had a couple of little warranty items to take care of and they get it right in and out. We have almost 100 hours on the boat since Christmas and will be dropping it off shortly for its next scheduled maintenance. I recommend Century Marine.
I have driven to Mesa from Cave Creek the past 3 years to have Century Marine work on my boat. The #1 reason I do so is trust. Scott has always been honest, and if he says my boat needs a repair, I believe him. He recently swapped out a Perfect Pass display for me and helped me with my ballast and batteries while he was in the boat. Thanks, Scott. I will continue to drive to Century Marine for all my boat repairs.
Century Marine is a great family owned and operated business. They are friendly and honest. The service department goes the extra mile to get things done right and on time. I am very pleased with my choice of Century Marine for my boating needs. This is where to go for the best product and services
Bought our first boat from Melanie. Experience was A+ from the very first visit! She was professional, flexible and very knowledgeable. Would not hesitate to recommend Century to family and friends! We will be back!!!
Awesome experience with purchasing our new boat! Melanie made it so easy and explained the whole process to us every step of the way & she helped us secure great terms for financing! We highly recommend Melanie & Century Marine for purchasing a boat! We also had a great experience with Scott & the rest of the service staff - they made us feel like a top priority to get us in quick when we needed a service before heading out to a trip. All around 5 stars for the whole staff & experience at Century Marine!!
Taking our vessel in for its annual services is like taking it to our extended family, thanks Tim for making it so smoothly.
Thanks to Century Marine for years of great service. On my third boat from them over the years. Love the boat, but the people here is what keep me coming back to buy newer boats rather than from other dealers. Glad I have found a solid and honest group to assist with my recreational jones.
Great selection of high quality boats. Knowledgeable sales staff and professional maintenance staff. Excellent job servicing/detailing our boat!
I love the people that work here. They have amazing customer service.
I will never buy anything from these people again. The woman who we dealt with was about as rude as I have ever encountered as a customer. We have homes in AZ and WA, and arranged a boat purchase there, to be shipped to our home in WA. She was rude and dismissive in person to my family and I. Then when we arrived back in Seattle we went to use the boat only to find that the hull plug was not correct. While disappointed that our family had planned a day of boating only to find that the missing plug is not a common size, I called Century. No sorry...what I got was a rude laugh and, They are only $3, but I can send you one if you really want. Yes, I spent almost $40k on a boat so that I could try to get over on you for $3..what a piece of work. What was more disturbing is that she had zero clue that they are a uncommon size, or that they are closer to $50. I assume she is a nepotism employee, because there is no way she would last in a position that she could be fired from. This organization will likely learn the cost of poor service. Its unfortunate because the salesperson I dealt with was great, hope he goes to work someplace that values customers so I can send him business. Steer clear of this place.
The staff was very helpful and they have a large inventory of parts and accessories.
We bought a boat from Century Marine from another state. We love the boat but Melanie was not the easiest person to work with. She doesnt have very good customer service. We were very disappointed when the boat was okayd to leave their hands with the drain plug in and travel 1,600 miles. Our boat showed up with so much water in the engine compartment, that it drained for almost 10 minutes (I took a video). Its horrible for the boat but also illegal to travel through states with a drain plug in.
Great bunch of guys in service department. Fair prices and they were quick with getting the work done.
Love this place. I have a older boat and can noy enjoy all the lakes.
Great service from a family owned company. I’ve taken my boat here for years.
Recently, I had to use Century Marine’s service department. Scott, Melanie, and Darian made the process amazingly easy. They were all very straight-forward, and focused on the customer service. Scott explained exactly what was wrong with the boat, and explained the repairs that were going to be completed. Melanie helped me with the process and scheduling. Darian helped me review the boat, and also helped me with the scheduling. All of them together were a great team to work with for the repairs. I would recommend Century to anyone.
I am reluctantly writing this review because i have no more options i had my boat shifting problem disgnosed and repaired here with a new shifter and then spent 3 to 4 return visits because it never worked right on the trip to lake it caused a collision with another boat ! I took it to bergeron marine and the owner quickly diagnosed the shifter was incorrectly installed i asked century marine to refund my money and or pay for the new repair they said they would let me know in a few days well that was a month ago ! And ive called several times they are ignoring me so after 25 yrs of recommending century i would have to say they are not doing the right thing it is very sad !
Always been treated well and walk away feeling good about service here.
This place is a joke you get lied to and taken advantage of and they don’t stand behind their word at all I don’t recommend them to anybody there’s too many good shops in town to deal with this garbage
Amazing people with the best boats.
Great service, thank you!
