They deserve zero stars. Had a consult for today 10:30-11:30. Never heard anything from them. I called at 11:35am & got a recording 2x. On the 3rd call I reached someone, was put on hold for a bit, and at 11:55 was told my appointment needed to be rescheduled because their person was sick. Nobody called me and I would have been left just hanging. Do your home work before calling these people. They have other reviews of being late, no call, no shows. Thanks for wasting my PTO! Just now they called my husband saying our appointment was 6 weeks out in November, not October, which is a total lie. We wouldnt schedule an installation on our wedding vow renewal weekend. Nice try. We will take our business elsewhere.

They installed a beautiful front Security door,I just love it. Their installers were nice,professional and know their job... well. Even cut me a key on the spot.

When I purchased my home in 2013, I had Daystar install 3 security doors and they are still perfect today, even the regular locks and the deadbolt locks.....the only problem is over the years with the monsoon rains and the heat, the bottom seals have started peeling off the metal bottoms. I went down to Daystar Screens today and met the two nicest people who work in the front office. I told them my problem and they said they would give me brand new strips for each door to attach them with the tape that is already on the product....FOR FREE! Easy problem to fix and I am 78 so assume most people would be able to handle the job. Now my security doors are as good as new! Thank you Ms. Connie and Ms. Brandi for all your help and the instructions for the installation. By the way they would have installed them for free but right now is their busy time of the year, and I didnt want to wait a couple of weeks as I want no bugs coming in my house, so did it myself. I would definitely recommend this company and their products....I already have to my neighbors.

My elderly aunt was treated poorly by this company, and so were we when we went to request a refund for work not rendered. The woman screamed in our faces and threatened to call the cops. She is now calling my aunt, months later, DEMANDING that I remove my reviews. My aunt did not ask me to write this, I wrote it based on my experience with this awful company. My reviews speak for themselves, Im fair and honest. This company is not.

Took the day off work to meet with a representative of this company. It took several weeks to get an appointment. We were told the rep would show up between 1000 and 1130 am. They did not show and we did not get a call that they would be late until 1:00 PM.

Day Star Screens installed and amazing custom 8 foot tall security door at our home. Its quite large and some other companies couldnt have it made. When they did the installation Paul and Joey made that door look and close like a vault.. the fit was perfect. They had to also do some custom frame work as the walls were rounded. Five stars for these guys.

I was interested in installing a security screen door for my home and came across Daystar Screens on Facebook. I called for an appointment and Doc came over and gave me a fair estimate to the type of door I wanted with installation. Within 2 weeks two guys came and got the the door installed with no issues.Im not sure what happened with the other experiences people had, but the company was great to work with. Were planning on getting sun screens installed next through them. Id definitely recommend them!

Purchased a custom security door from Larry in Feb 2020. Four weeks later it arrived and was installed by his crew of 2 young men. It looked and functioned great at first. However, the install was so tight that as soon as the temperature climbed above 70, the aluminum door expanded and caused binding. I stopped by the showroom to ask that they come out and adjust/fix it. I emailed pictures of the problem to clerk Ashley, per her request. Waited 2 wks - nothing. Called & spoke w/Ashley again. She said shed have the installation mgr, Shirley schedule the repair. Another 2-1/2 wks have gone by - again nothing. I have since had to file down the edges of my new $1,000 door to get it to work, as it was gouging the black anodized aluminum frame. I would never recommend these people to anyone.

I just had two large west-facing window screens installed and they look great! It took less than an hour to install them. The guys were very friendly and efficient. They explained how to clean them and cleaned the area when they finished. The service was great and we have better control of the afternoon heat. It was so nice dealing with Denise on the phone to set up the whole process. Thank You so much!!! Brenda

Scheduled an appointment to meet with Larry for his fantastic 188 dollar security screen door deal a week ahead of time. I made arrangements to be off work. Secretary was perfectly nice and accommodating. Today, no call - no show - and no answer when I called the office to see what was going on. Stay classy Larry & Daystar sunscreens.

Honestly Im More Reviewing their parking job in my community. I have parallel parking on both sides of the road if you are driving on the right side you park on the right side these dingdongs parked on the left side in the incorrect placement. Whoever the h*** you are please learn how to park.

There was an issue with the level of my threshold, but it was resolved after few days with no extra charge . Weve been extremely pleased with the work Daystar did on our house - they installed two sun screens on our patio, and also golf ball protective screens for a few windows that had become favorite targets for poor local golfers. Very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Recently, we contacted them with a technical question and they responded quickly and efficiently. Very pleased with quality of their work.

We had a security door installed and love the job! The price was exactly as stated, the job was done on time, no mess to clean up, workers were professional and polite. I would use them again for screens.

Terrible, took our screens Dave or Doc for remake and never brought new product back and refusing to return our screens (they probably lost it).They are not even willing to make it right.Zero experience would be better.

Well I am sad to see how much this company has changed. The people that we worked with when we first got work done are truly great. But when we went to get more work done they werent as nice. I just think it isnt good business for a company to not give a discount to a returning customer it makes no sense. The guy that came to are place said he would use the $50 referral fee for us but when we called about it the person said that would never be done. All we wanted was to get an $82 discount and they didnt care if it meant we did business with someone else. We will not be telling are friends or family about this company anymore. It is sad to see when a company is no longer in it to make the customer happy or offer discounts to customers who return.

We had 4 window screens made by these folks and they did an excellent job of making them,they look great and have cooled our house down by 25%!!! The screens are well made and sturdy,I would of gave them 5 Stars but the man who measured the windows gooft up...........making us wait over a month for the screens.He gets NO stars!!!!

I had an appt for Monday, May 16 at 3:00 pm to have them come look at putting some screen doors on for me. At 1:45 they called and said they had a cancellation and could they come earlier. I called back for nearly 40 minutes to tell them yes, but kept getting the answering machine. Finally got a hold of them at 3:15 and she said they were on their way. At 4:30 no one had come so I called and left another message. It is now Thursday and no one has called to apologize for wasting my time or to try to reschedule or anything. Terrible business. I am not impressed, and I dont like companies who waste my time and then just ignore you. Thanks for nothing.

I havent even stepped into the place, but I definitely wont be doing so in the future. I got yelled at by a guy that works there. He was angry at me for driving through their parking lot (they have one shop at the end of a small strip mall). I was courteous and answered his questions calmly and politely (I was playing pokemon go). He was angry and rude. I asked him what I did wrong and he said I was disturbing him and threatened to call the cops. The church across the street asked me the same thing last week and they were kind and welcoming. The guy at Daystar was acting irrationally and is definitely not someone Id ever do business with.

Im not using these people i called them twice and they just hang up....go out of business already sheeese

Called to schedule as appointment and the lady that answered the phone was totally rude. I would never use them.

We made an appointment to have someone come over to give us a quote on items. We rearranged our schedule to be sure to be home at the said time. The time window came and went, no show and no call. That sucks.

Customer service is horrible! The lady who answers the phone is dry and very nonchalant. When asking a question it sounded like I was taking up her time. Geesh!
