Both myself and husband (and our little doggie) always make a point to stop here while we are in Mesa, AZ visiting our son. Reasonable premiums on both Gold and Silver and a nice selection of coins. Staff is always extremely nice which makes for a pleasant experience with each visit.

I have done business here many times and occasionally go to the coin show they put together monthly. They are very friendly and will pay a fair price every time I come in. I just sold them my V75 silver eagle and will be back in the future.

I decided to give these people a second chance this time I saw the owner of the store he treated me very good. This place is the best. I am moving out of silver and into gold. Bill and his crew are running a great shop. He pays the highest prices around for what I want to sell. Then they turn around and charge the lowest prices for the coins I can walk out the door with! They have a huge selection of amazing coins. I just need more money.Bottom line, this is the place to go if you are buying or selling. Great service even when they are busy.

I moved to Mesa 6 months ago. I try to stop by here once a week or so, because they have ever changing numismatic inventory. Spot pricing is pretty close to major online dealers, and staff is knowledgeable and polite.

Anything numismatic related Xavier coins is second to none. Never had a bad experience here. Their bullion prices are also very competitive, I recommend checking this place out.

Visited shop for first time yesterday, bought some decent 90% halfs and quarters. They let me cherry-pick if I wanted to, as much or as little as I was looking for. Price was based on silver spot, and quite fair, the best Ive seen so far among various other coin shops in the Valley. Owner and staff treated me with respect and answered questions patiently. A first for me: one of their staff even asked *me* questions about my own coin collecting and actually appeared to be interested in the hobby...that has never happened in any of my other coin shop visits, ironically enough. Will DEFINITELY return for more transactions, either buying or selling or both - top shelf coin collecting business here in Mesa.

I am so disappointed with this shop. Ive been here in the past and had and excellent experience. I found the guys that helped me to be very friendly, knowledgeable, and fair. I referred my son to go there because he purchased a storage unit and came across some coins that were really unique and definitely something he was completely unfamiliar with. Upon initial investigation via the internet it seemed as though these coins could be worth a substantial amount of money. He went into Xavier and said that he felt like he was bothering the employee that helped him. Id mention a name but he didnt feel the need to introduce himself or have any conversation at all, like I said he acted like they were bothering him. He barely looked at the items they brought in and quickly told them that they werent worth anything and just looked at them like ...OK...you still here....you can go now. It was awful. I would not recommend nor refer anyone else to go to this shop

Hands Down the best place to go! I just started a few months ago and I searched everywhere for the best prices and most knowledable staff. Xavier coin is like the Pawn Stars of AZ! Comes complete with their very own Rick, Cory, Old Man and Chum Lee. Stop on by there to see if you can guess whos who! I cant believe the History Channel hasnt picked these guys up yet!

Im used do business here a lot. Xavier has since sold his shop. The new owner seemed very friendly. These guys love coins. He has 2 boys that work there whom are friendly and knowledgable of the power of the coin. If you are into coins this is the place for you. If you want to make a new friend from the people who frequent the place or there staff, go and see all there coinage.

I would not recommend going here if you want any sort of information/history of your coins. If you only want to know how much your coins are worth, than youve hit the jackpot. I went in with an 1898 Barber dime and some wheat back pennies. Had asked the young man working the front for any sort of information he could tell me about the dime. His response. Its an 1898 barber dime, and its only worth its weight in silver. Thats the only thing he could tell me about it, or was willing to tell me. He just genuinely didnt seem passionate about his job or informing customers about what they have. No matter what the condition of their coins.

The guys are extremely helpful! Very honest, and take the time to answer your questions. Im new to buying silver, but not new to collecting coins. They helped me through the process and this is my new favorite spot to buy silver. Thanks guys!

I brought coins in that I know were worth money and he tried to only give me silver weight he did not look at them he told me my dime was ran through a washing machine and he didnt even really look at it I also brought a coin in that he told me to take to a auction house didnt even look at the coin seem like I was bothering them

Nice coin shop with friendly staff. I have been to Xavier quite a few times over the years and have always had good experiences. Their world coin stock is not enormous, but Ive never walked out empty handed. They have competitive prices on supplies, so when I need some flips or boxes I just stop by, rather than ordering on the web.

Place used to be decent now theyre just trying to scam everyone.

Great selection of gold, silver, coins and supplies all at MS69 prices (thats a bad joke that is meant to mean almost perfect prices lol). The 3 employees Ive spoken with during my handful of visits are very nice, welcoming and extremely knowledgeable.

Visited Xavier coins for the first time yesterday. Had a fantastic buying experience with the best prices on coins Ive seen anywhere in the valley. The staff was courteous and patient. My girlfriend even found a beautiful ring among the displays that we bought.

My first experience with as a customer in the store I find the guys theyre very helpful and I feel like Im getting the right deal with them.

Young man short changed me not once but three times and has repeatedly placed my 90% silver coins in a 40% category. Also when selling gold I was told he was a buyer at a price of $75 dollars below the spot price. I no longer deal with them and know now they are very shady people. Buyer and seller beware!
