Awesome selection and great deals! Staff was so helpful and kind! I have not one bad thing to say about this establishment. I was like a kid in a candy store got so much stuff that I could have maybe acquired online but it was all there and you dont have to order from several sources and they give you buy 3 get one free on everything in the store! I saved 60 dollars! And got awesome stuff I would not have found anywhere else! If I could give it 6 stars I would!

This store is so awesome! They have most every kind audio and video entertainment that I can think of (DVDs, VHS tapes, cassettes, 8- track, vinyl, and video games), a huge selection, and great prices! The store is big, and has fun decorations. The staff is friendly even though they were clearly fairly busy the day of our visit. Definitely worth a visit even if you dont live nearby.

There is a great environment here. The selection was mind blowing from vinyl records to video games, movies and collectibles. Everyone one was helpful and attentive. Highly recommend.

This store will sell you digital codes that are expired, wont return them and doesnt remove them from the shelf even if they know that they are expired this one was 2019 and he said they still work funny last time it didnt so.... Kinda rude staff, no masks and EVERYONE was sneezing. I love this store but will be wary in all future purchases. I wont be ripped off twice.

Really enjoyed shopping here. Lots of nostalgia and everyone is super friendly. I have to put a small buyer beware: the console prices are higher than retail. The special edition switch I just got for $300 is being sold for $350+ there. I understand the store needs to make a profit, but everyone should know what they should pay before buying :) 4 stars because its above average and a great place to go.

Gave me an insulting offer of 10 dollars for 7 dvds 3 blu rays and 2 video games. Definitely overpriced for all there dvds and blu rays as well. Refuse to shop here anymore, lost a new customer forever.

First time in today and was LOVING it. everything i looked at was AMAZING quality and so many options!!

This used entertainment store, setup in an old rental shop, is a bit of a time machine in all the best ways! As someone who ran many movie stores in my previous life, I adored my visit to this store. The used DVDs and Blu-rays are clean, presented well, and meticulously organized. They also offer a good deal of semi-vintage collectibles and toys throughout. You can find CDs, a large vinyl record assortment, and an entire side room filled with used video games and accessories. Bringing my son here was a unique way to show him what it was like when we all went to the local store and rented movies a couple of times a week. And if you want, they will actually rent you movies from their stock as well!!My only issue with the store were the prices. As everything I saw was used, the prices were about what I would expect to see as new stock on a really good online sale. The overstock tables are a big exception here, and there are lots of hot deals to be found on those. Either way, shop around, fill some holes in your collection, and be sure to support this awesome local business!

This place has tons of movies, music (vinyl, CD), TV shows, games and collectables to purchase. The folks who work here are knowledgeable and very fun to chat with. They feature acouple free arcade games as well. All in all definitely a great experience.

Great service. My grandson was very scared of the giant skeleton as we entered. The staff opened an employee entrance for him to come in and out of the store so he wouldnt be afraid. They went out of their way. I will be going back again.

If you dont have cable like me then this place is the perfect place to go, they have just about every movie you can think of and if they dont have what your looking for they will order it for you and call you when it arrives. Really good prices and you can rent movies before you decide to buy it too... Nice owner and staff, keep up with the great work guys....

Its a great place to find tons of movies they have a section for video games and they have a lot of cool collectible type stuff too there stuff is pretty easy to find so Ive never had to ask anybody for assistance but the employees all seem very nice as well and it is a local business so I like to support them for that reason as well if youre looking for some DVDs to buy or rent yes they even rent and you live in East Mesa theres no reason not to go there

The staff here is always great. I love that they have the Buy 3, get the 4th free on everything deal. They dont always have the best selection of used records and I dont know how well they check them before they put them out for sale. Thats the only reason they dont get 5 stars. I frequent the place often and will continue to do so. Dig long enough and youll find a gem or two.

Update to my review before: staff has been a lot more friendly and helpful last few times I’ve been there. Prices are still iffy at times but I’ve actually found some really good deals. Changed m my rating to a solid 4 from a 3.This place used to be okay. Couple reasons why I’m leaving 3 stars. I’d leave 2.5 if I could though. Their inventory is just EVERYWHERE. Physically everywhere. Which I know some people won’t mind and usually I don’t, cause sometimes that means I can do some digging and find some gold, but I’m less inclined to dig due to the next reason. Their prices are pretty high on certain things. Saw a couple video games I’d been shopping around for, they wanted over $80 for one, when I can find (and did in fact buy) it off eBay for $45 (sold comps are anywhere from $45-65) Can’t say that’s the case for all of their stuff, just an observation of a few things I had been looking for and had done my research on prices for those things. Staff isn’t too friendly. Kinda stand off ish. I think all those things combined won’t stop me from coming in, but definitely not my first stop if looking for anything movies, music or games. The Z place or man with books would be a better first bet as customer service and prices are typically better there than here.

I try to get here at least monthly to check out cd’s and vinyl. Joe always has a great variety and you can surely find hidden gems if you look. Joe and his staff are really helpful and super friendly. This is a great place to find your favorite music.

The owner is a great guy. Discs are guaranteed and he will special order something too. Had a game not play and he corrected the issue right away. Also, to be able to rent anything here, or buy it, is just something special.

Fantastic store for new and used vinyl, used CDs, cassettes, video games, movies, and a host of other collectibles. I mostly check out the CDs, cassettes, and video games. Ive gotten a few video games, a number of reasonable priced used CDs and some cassettes. The CDs are all in good condition and just in case they happily buff CDs for free if there are some scratches. The video game section is also fantastic. I can be a nerd for old sports games and they have a section of old sports games for $1 a piece. Great stuff. I love stopping by to add to my music and video game collection when Im in the area. The owner and employees are also very friendly. Thanks!

DVD, Blu-Ray, VHS, + Game Rentals for $1 a night up to three nights. Closed Sunday which means free rental night. After third consecutive rental night, price of item is charged to account, but can renew rental to avoid charge.

My all time favorite movie store. Great prices. Great employees. We had a miscommunication renting a movie and got charger the full price. The manager was very respectful and took care of the problem immediately. Highly recommend. Wont go anywhere else.

House of Used offers a plethora of high quality movies and games. Reminds me of the good old days of renting videos from Blockbuster. The staff is always helpful and friendly and always answers my questions regarding videogames. I would highly recommend this place!

Theres not many places you can rent movies from anymore. Huge selection and only a $1 a night. Many other games and merchandise as well.

The reason why this keeps popping up is because I go by there to the Mexican Restaurant they make fresh Tamales every 4 hours and I also go to the Dollar Tree Store they always get 22 items twice a month. I really dont go to the house of Used Movies, sorry. There used to be a Safeway Store there on University and Lindsay and theres still The only Burger King fast food place to where they make your order the way you want it to be.

Staff was so helpful! I had a list of 40 dvds I wanted, and they looked up those I couldnt find. They made sure I got every buy 3 get 4th free deal. They even helped find cheaper versions for me. I will definitely be returning. ☺

They have a large collection of movies and TV shows in numerous categories, there is also a game section with a large selection of used video games and some used consoles. Prices seemed to be very fair, good platform selection as well.

There are countless vintage nerd regalia and old movies. They have a good selection of vintage game consoles. They do not have a lot of switch games. The switch games they do have are marked down only a couple of dollars. They have dirt cheap game rentals though. Would definitely visit again.

The staff is extremely nice and super helpful! I went in and instead of trying to get me to buy the more expensive items, they helped me find exactly what I needed even if that meant they didnt make as much money! They even custom ordered a cheaper item for me that fit my needs better! Amazing customer service and great prices! The owner also works there and is extremely helpful and considerate of the customers budget and needs!

So I come here all the time with my son, love this place usually. The last two times have been kind of irritating though. The first time was just bad customer service but that’s whatever. This time though the two employees at the cashier area weren’t wearing any masks whatsoever. It’s just irresponsible and rude. We have to wear ours as customers for their health so why aren’t they doing the same? Still love the store & items inside I just don’t appreciate the lack of respect for others health.

This is a great place to look for gifts for anyone! They have a lot of older misc toys, music, movies, board games, pops, and much more. Trish is absolutely awesome! She is currently helping me fix a save issue on a game I bought elsewhere. I think that is really cool! If your lucky you can catch her wearing her elf ears! The employees are all very helpful and friendly. If you havent had the oppurtunity yet, I highly recommend stopping in Im sure you will find something from your childhood memories here! 4/5 - the video game selection feels small.Good selection of used items compared to other similar retailers in the area, and the staff is very attentive here. I will be returning to buy old video games, vinyl records, and movies.

This place is great for all your digital needs movies, video games, and music. Prices are great for the most part they have better prices than your zia records or bookmans. They also let you rent movies. Place is a little disorganized and hard to navigate. Staff super helpful and friendly. Come and support this local business.

They have a good selection but theres no way I can give it 5 stars just because the music is so loud. Its not just too loud. Its ear ringing, splitting headache loud. And its not even good music. Its lame music like Styx and Foreigner. That and they arent open on Sundays.

High prices not worth it. I spent 60 bucks for 12 used movies that also get rented. I got 3 snack items for about 5 bucks. I spent 65 bucks total. This was with a buy 3 get one free deal. Even with getting 3 movies for free that make the movies I bought 5 bucks a peice. Disappointing I would not recommend or return.
