Awesome driving range! Good environment and great staff. Huge shoutout to Matt with the cool, long hair, very nice guy. Came to check on us every couple of minutes to see if we needed anything. And even gave me some pointers on my Iron swing since I am a beginner at golf. Will definitely be going back because of Matt with the cool hair.

If you are looking for a fun experience, Dobson Ranch is the golf course for you!The staff is genuine, friendly and helpful. The course features some of the largest trees of any course in the Phoenix area. There are some hard dog-legs that make it challenging but the greens are definitely where the course bites! Make sure you miss it on the right side of the green and stay below the hole. There is water on several holes but there is only one forced carry on hole #18 - which is only about 175 yards or so.Be sure to stop inside after your round to grab a drink and some food - again, super friendly and affordable - they have pool tables, large tvs and golden tee inside the recently remodeled restaurant. There are about 10 seats at the bar and they are popular but I recommend sitting on the patio and enjoying the Arizona weather. They have ping pong and cornhole just off the patio. All in all, this is a great golf experience.I took all the photos - and yes, the Breakfast Burrito and Hamburger are both delicious.

I went to get a bucket of balls to hit at the driving range and had an old rain check ticket from a missed 18 holes. Matt helped me out with the best customer service! Btw that guy has some amazing hair!!

If youre looking for a go-to, home course. This could be it. It has everything I was looking for in a golf course and then some. Definitely worth a visit. The course itself is in great shape. Challenging greens, covered driving range, decent golf shop, and the Ranch Card which offers a bunch of discounts.

The atmosphere and energy is amazing from all the employees like Matt with the hair and Seb, everyone at this course wants to make sure you enjoy yourself and have a great time. Amazing! Carts have Bluetooth so you can jam out. The drink ladies are fun and happy not to mention adorable! Greens were great and well maintained. My only comment would be to separate the groups slightly more. We had a group of very agitated men trailing behind. Im no tiger woods and I dont always land on the green. It doesnt help with Mr. Tiger Woods behind me with his range finder and tactical ball carrier play any better. Still I will be returning for future trips to the course.

Great conditions, pace of play was good, and the course is pretty forgiving making it a great course to learn on and improve your short game. Played back 9 only for an afternoon round I was really impressed with the starter controlling the start time for other groups.Paid $25 for 9 holes (twilight round). Not a bad price at all for this time of the year.

Started to get back into golf after 25 years and prices really reflect it too...right now $56 weekdays and $59 weekends to play.Different deals for different times of play, like after 1pm and walking or taking a cart can be cheaper.$8 for medium size bucket of balls (50), the place really looks like they went Corporate like everything else in Sports, more amenities but you pay for it.Didnt actually play but the driving range and putting greens, chipping greens were in great shape.

Best municipal course in East Valley. Greens are true and fairways kept. Mature trees are mixed with recently planted new ones. Sand traps are fluffed and raked. Front 9 par 37. Back-9 par 35. Back-9 more scenic.Driving range is being upgraded with overhead shade. Ball tracking technology available.Staff is friendly. Need to increase drink cart frequency.

I was at the dobson ranch golf course the other day just to hit the range one of my favorites by the way just like top golf but easy on your wallet Matt with the good hair was so helpful with getting us set up on the top tracer range it made it feel like I was welcome very upbeat and a very nice person I gave dobson a 4 star but with Matt its a 5 for me thanks for all you do Matt with the good hair 😀

Course is a solid muni course. Changes to the range keep me away. Hitting off mats only has me finding different courses as it’s not real practice, and not warming up before a round. Tracking stuff is cool but I would only want tracking on shots off grass. Gotta pay extra to hit off grass and then you don’t get tracking. Practice areas are smaller now. If you are someone wanting to practice, there are much better and cheaper options in the area. Feels like a knock off top golf instead of a golf course now. Fun course though!!

It was really good but it was a bit crowded and theyvare always pushing you to go faster go faster! So I think the course is really good and stuff but just not the people, almost like every golf course but it was good stuff!

I LOVE this course! It’s in great condition and it’s beautiful. The staff are friendly and so professional. It’s a very busy course, but the Starters, (thank you Edward!), do such a great job of spacing golfers far enough apart that I’ve never felt held up or rushed.Today, (8/20/21), was no exception, busy, but spaced well enough apart that everyone was moving along at a good pace and having a great time. . . and then a little more than halfway through our game, an incident occurred that was serious enough to call a Ranger out to deal with it.What happened isn’t as important as how it was handled by Dobson Ranch staff members, Paul and Colton. They were so professional in the way they took control and diffused the situation and my friend and I are very grateful. Thank you both so much!Oh and they have great food too!I HIGHLY recommend this course!Tammi

Tried to play Dobson Ranch today, but was VERY DISAPPOINTED. We decided to stop after 3.5 hour front nine. I understand that it was a Saturday, but what they really need is BETTER COURSE MANAGEMENT! A ranger to tell groups that they are playing slow. Waiting for every shot was not fun and we will never go back. Three groups waiting to tee off on number 10. That when we decided to call it quits! The course was in good shape and I was really looking forward to play it. Sadly very disappointed!

First time playing this course. I am from Los Angeles area and here visiting my sister. I am a 18 index golfer. Played in late July. Play early. Staff is great and for a public course the greens are well maintained. Best 30 dollar with cart course I have ever played.

The only thing you could have done better was adjust the weather! The course was in good condition for the middle of summer in Arizona! At one point we were advised to keep up with the group in front of us however we had to wait for them a couple times so felt we were playing at the right speed. Your staff throughout the course is always top-notch! The service all around was great! Never had to wait for the drink cart and the ability to order food and get it at the turn was perfect. And good tasting!

After finishing my round of golf at Dobson Ranch, I felt compelled to write a short review about my experience. I have lived in the valley for the better part of Forty years and have struggled to find good summer golf. I think after their latest improvements, Dobson Ranch now can now boast they have the best practice facility in the valley. The golf course was in great shape for the summer heat and the greens were in very good condition and had a good speed. Jayson and all the staff were very helpful and courteous. Just had a good time and think you will do the same.

I had a great 5 star experience today at Dobson Ranch. The range was fun with music playing. Their greens are in tip top shape. I would recommend this course to ANY golfer. It was the first time Ive played the course since the new management company took over & what an incredible job theyve done. Ill be back for sure.

I play alot and across the country, if youre looking for pristine, country club, plush tee to green, maybe you wouldnt rate 5 stars, but if you are looking for modern day golf experience that begins with the staff, to the amazing, fun, family inviting range this is your spot! The greens and aprons were perfect down to the meticulous care, conditions and challenging with many undulations. Play this course and take it in from golfers eyes, layout, playable and just overall enjoyable.

Very fun and laid back atmosphere. A rather forgiving course but in good condition including the greens. Excellent customer service, from starter to beverage cart, to post-round beverages at the bar & grill! Stick around and shoot the free-throw for a super cheap beer!

This is an amazing course. The staff are all extremely friendly and accommodating. Chris is a great teache instructor and always very helpful on the course.

This is a good public course . Most of the challenge are the mature trees and how they place the holes on the hilly greens. Just expect a full day of golf. Many days you will feel lucky for it to be 4.5 hour round...couple times it can go well over 5 hours.. the new management is much friendlier and organized then the past group.. there are a number of bathrooms and fountain water spots which is great in the heat with the shade

Quite disappointing that it took 3.5 hours to get to hole 8, werent able to finish our round. The pace of play here is very slow. We thought the course was in good condition but the pace of play was too slow, too many people, and the fairway were too close together/narrow. First time and wont be back. Also, the bartender wasnt the friendliest, luckily the cart lady made up for it!

Hello Dobson Ranch Team.I had an exceptional experience throughout my time at this location on Wed-4/14/21. One of the main factors that impacted this pleasant experience was the EXTRAORDINARY CUSTOMER SERVICE provided by Andrew (as the face of the franchise), in the pro shop. He set the most positive, pleasant & progressive tone, from the start!!! You guys selected the right person to be in that position. He could train others on how to be a face of a franchise. Because of his pleasantries, I look forward to returning to this venue sooner than later .

The staff is outstanding! Everyone is happy that youre there and really friendly. The management company continues to make improvements to the course, practice facilities and atmosphere. The course is challenging yet fair and is in really good shape. Sometimes the pace of play can be a little slow but with the amount of rounds it sees and the great price, that is to be expected from time to time.

Love this course and love the staff, they are both awesome! This means you Sebastian and Elle. They are super friendly, super helpful, and a pleasure to know. I always feel welcome here. Really fun course with top notch staff --- check it out if you havent already!

Drive across town just to use their practice facility. Really is the best range around. Especially during the summer. Toptracer is pretty slick too.

I used their website to book a tee time only to be told very rudely several times when I tried to check in that I had not booked anything. I was told there was no such fee schedule on the site and that we could get 20 minutes later than the time I had booked. Then I was told that for a local resident I would have to pay $92.00 for 2 players when the website showed a rate of $24.99 per player for the same tee time. I have played Dobson Ranch since it originally opened and have NEVER been disrespected as much. Since Paradigm took over the management the course and personnel have deteriorated

Slow and loud with the newly added Bluetooth speakers on the golf carts. Nothing says relaxing when someone is blasting their music right when youre about to tee off. Expect to play 5+ hours.

Super fun, AWESOME staff! Rudy and Mark with cart help are top notch guys. They even let u shoot a basketball shot for a $.01 drink after the round, and I actually made it! Great vibe here, highly recommend! Oh, and theres billiards, ping pong, good music, and corn hole. Good times.

First off let me tell you the new staff and management have taken this course head on and it is safe to say we are all happy to see their progress! The course and amenities are great! The renovations and remodeling are turning out fantastic! The range and putting area are in good shape and the range specials are always a good deal. Young staff and friendly faces every where you look. This is our most frequented course because of its competitive pricing all year round and great deals. My go to’s are Jacquelyn, Drew and Chris. They will take care of you, ask about your day, and most of all remember you when you come back in. Yes, the course is slow pace of play however it is like that everywhere. It is busy because it’s good. Enjoy your round and make the most of it. You are playing golf ! Nothing negative to say about how hard these people work to provide us golfers with a good experience while at the ranch! I’d say i’m coming back, but I have been doing so for quite a while!

Why is this course so busy? Because it is a good municipal course. Sand traps are the best around. Greens are fast and challenging and the work staff is extremely helpful and friendly.

Incredible muni course. Fast and open. The range is extremely fun. The 19th hole has corn hole, a b-ball hoop (make 1 outta 2 for a penny beer), and great food and drank.Fun, fresh atmosphere from start to finish!

Older track in excellent shape, perfect for walking. Nice challenge with some water and ample amount of sandtraps.

This course is in fantastic shape! They have redesigned EVERY par 3 teeing ground to make them level and they are a lush green grass. The greens are rolling very true and are also well maintained. You can definitely see the work that has been going on around the facility with excellent improvements done to the practice facilities and surrounding areas. A new fleet of comfortable golf carts complete with Bluetooth speakers has been deployed as well. The staff remains super friendly and welcoming. Great job Dosbon Ranch!

On a whim I took a tee time not knowing what to expect. I’m from out of town. Wow, you can see why this place gets a lot of business. Challenging, fun course. Awesome greens. The place is very well managed and taken care of with a very upbeat vibe. Carts have built in Bluetooth speakers for your music, cornhole, music at the big patio, food truck, cool targets on the practice range. Definitely not stuffy, boring, uptight joint like many places around Phoenix

Amazing! I have always loved this course. You all have done a great job with all of the improvements. Everyone is so friendly.

Went to the driving range at 6:30pm on a Thursday. Was pretty busy, had to wait 10-15 minutes for a tee box to open up. They’re sort of closer together with no dividers, but it’s nice and has a fun atmosphere.

Booked a tee time a week in advance to golf here since I bring my group here once a week and someone at the shop never put me in for an actual tee time. Tried to call to speak to a manager for 45min and couldn’t get to one to get this fixed. Love the course and the greens but will no longer be coming to this place.

Fun atmosphere, staff is super friendly, course conditions are usually in nice shape. The range can get a bit crowded, but usually don’t have to wait too long to get a spot.

My experience was only on the driving range but the pro shop customer service was great. The lady in there answered all my questions and went above and beyond to make sure I understood the variety of services they offer

Dobson Ranch is definitely my new favorite course in the valley. Staff is ridiculously pleasant, amenities are second to none, and the course is always in decent to great condition. Great course to practice on as the driving range is a lot of fun and plenty of putting & chipping areas. By far the best course in the valley

Golf course was in very good shape, especially when considering the low green fees and the amount of players that go through here. Also, the staff was really helpful, loaning me a towel and then finding my original towel and returning it to me after the round. Whoever is running the show here is doing an excellent job. Thumbs up.

Our group played this course for the first time. Weve heard frequent good comments. Quite a nice complex with driving range, chipping area and putting green. Course is not long (6700 yards from back tees), but there are some longer and more challenging holes. Fairways were in good shape. Bunker sand was generally soft, although there was the odd one where the ground was quite firm. Greens were in great shape, are sloping and they were quite fast. If you are above the hold, be prepared for a 3 or 4 putt. Despite the frost delay and the number of players on the course, we finished in 4.5 hours. The only negative about this course is that, because there are few trees, you see golfers all over the place. On a number of holes (number 1/9 and 10/18 in particular), they are definitely in the line of fire although we never heard anyone yell fore. 10 is right beside the driving range. We enjoyed the course and would certainly play again. We did not have a coupon nor were we Mesa residents, so we paid the rack rate of $55 pp. Good value.

The staff was awesome from the golf shop staff to the starter. The course was great, greens faster than normal but made it more of a challenge. Was so impressed I played another 18 holes. Looking forward to getting back out and playing more.

Great place to practice and play. The driving range is open til 9 with lights. Two putting greens, two chipping areas, and bunker for practice. Fun place to play, wont hurt you too bad if you have a slice. The staff is very nice - good people.
