Wish i could give it 0/5Went for a brake tag and was treated so badly and left crying because of this one man. everyone else was super nice. however this one man decided to treat me so terribly. may be ageism. may be racism. i asked pretty standard questions since it was my first time getting a brake tag and he seemed to not want to help. never going back

I have been a customer for many years. This place is great !! Never once have I had to return a car for repairs not done correctly. They are honest. Once the estimate was twice the actual cost of the repairs. I questioned why. I was told once they got into the brackets, only 2 needed replacement not 4. Wow !! Could have easily charged me for 4 I would have never known. Good old fashioned work ethics. The only place I send my cars is Philip Bonura.

Asked to press a center bearing out of driveshaft that was removed from vehicle and press a new one on. was told thats like bringing a steak to a restaurant and asking them to cook it for you. No need to be rude if they dont this type of thing just say so.

I do believe this business is closed permanently. Has been closed all of the pandemic, even though they could have stayed open, but now there is a large For Lease sign hanging across the front.I will miss this place.

Weve been customers with Philip Bonura for over 30 years. Honest, reliable, good prices, and will tell you like it is for your car. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a mechanic.

Everyone is great here! Mr. Bonura is the only Mechanic that I trust anymore.Example: One day in August, my truck started overheating... I checked my Radiator and general area, for any obvious issues. Not seeing any, I got a ride to a popular car parts place nearby (that will remain nameless). They suggested that I might need a new Radiator Cap. I bought the best kind they had for my truck and left. Upon installation, with my fingers crossed, I took my truck around the neighborhood... Needless to say that it lasted longer, but... It was not the fix and my truck started to get warmer fast. My girlfriends Dad suggested that I take it to where he, his family, and everyone from his work ALL take their cars to.... Mr. Bonuras. Reluctantly I had to have my truck towed to his shop. I went inside, explained the situation, and they went to get Mr. Bonura. I told him the same thing. He said no problem, I have nothing to worry about. It was close to closing time, I assumed that he wouldnt even be able to look at my truck until the next day. As we drove away... I looked over and he immediately started looking under the hood. The next afternoon I received a phone call from them saying that all I needed was a new radiator cap and that the one I had just purchased happened to be faulty!! My girlfriend and I raced over to the shop and were amazed when he showed us the difference. He charged me $25... For the radiator cap and for labor!!! I was shocked!!! He could have made up a whole slew of other problems (like a great deal of mechanics tend to do), but he didnt!! I now have a different car but I wont take it ANYWHERE else!!!
