She took a interest in us personally. In fact I find that all your employees are respectful, professional, Mr Lee and his workers are very professional. (Moving men). Also your receptionist at the Edwards street warehouse, she is very accommodating and professional. We never met the owner but he has surrounded himself with great people. Thank you!!!

Our salesperson Taylor was great. She was able to provide detailed information on each piece of furniture we were interested in purchasing and took the time to look up availability on them. Once she put the order together she reviewed it with us in detail. We have always enjoyed shopping here. Quality furniture, good prices and service and a great sales team.

Taylor was exceptionally helpful. I had a very specific idea of what I was looking for and she very patiently assisted me in finding the perfect sideboard. It is beautiful and the quality is wonderful. I look forward to returning for my next purchase.

Recently, my husband and I came to the Scandinavia store in hopes of finding a nice sofa and loveseat combo. We also hoped to find a sale, if it all possible. As we browsed, we were approached by a very kind and knowledgeable salesperson. That salesperson was Taylor Cason. She was outstanding. After patiently listening to our needs and desires, she assisted us to find an excellent deal on the perfect items for us. We are completely delighted with the items we purchased and very appreciative of the time and information given to us by Taylor.

Living cross-country in California I was nervous about ordering a new couch from so far away; however, they made the process super easy. In addition, my brother has the UFO couch (why I bought it too!), and other furniture from here, and every piece is high quality, unique, and stylish. I highly recommend Scandinavia Furniture! Ms Shelia is a pleasure to work with and has always made sure my buying experiences were great.

The store was very clean and have a nice selection of contemporary furniture. It would be better if they displayed more furnitures to choose from. Sheila, the assistant manager was very nice and providing great customer service . The store manager also was very nice and helpful in helping us the measurement and the time it takes to order the sofa set. We would have give them the five stars if the time it takes to receive the order was not that long. I think it was out of their control because the furniture has to order from overseas. Other than that everything so far so good until waiting for the sofa set .

Scandinavia Furniture in Metairie is by far the best purchasing experience I’ve had in ages. From the sales personnel (Sheila is awesome!) to the management (thanks Greg!) to the quality of the furniture, all is exemplary. I will continue to go back to them again and again. They honestly care about their customer relationships which is rare (sadly) these days!

I always thought Scandinavia has excellent quality furniture until we purchased two white leather bar stools from them. Weve had them for a few years and honestly rarely sit on them. I think we paid approximately $325.00 a piece for them which for me is not cheap. I noticed the other day that the leather is peeling off in sheets. Im no longer sure this is even real leather. Even though weve had them a few years this is unacceptable for furniture from that store and price to do this. I do plan on taking photos and going to the store.No I absolutely have the correct store madam/sir. I do plan to come to the store as soon as I have time since I was working until 7:30 p.m. all weekend.

Best furniture store in the Gulf South. I’ve been shopping for over a year and have been everywhere in the region. Their prices are low for the quality being provided. So much better than all the other furniture stores in our area. I’m not including big box stores as they can’t even touch Scandinavia. Will be a customer for life. Greg and his staff are simply awesome and so patient.

My wife and I just bought two sofa beds and we were very happy with the value, selection, comfort, and the number of available fabrics at Scandinavia Inc. The people in the store were also terrific.We’ll post another review after we receive the sofa beds and get a chance to sleep on them.

Horrible. We bought our 2 bedrooms and dinning room furniture last year along with extra warranty. We received everything and it was perfect but within 2 months four leather chairs started peeling. I called the store in February 2017 to inform and was told to send some pictures of the chairs. I sent everything in. I was told after reviewing we will swap out the chairs with new ones in 90 days. Well 90 days passed and no chairs so I call again and I was told it will be end of August before I receive them since they were coming from over seas. Now I have total of 6 chair peeling leather everywhere its awful. So I called today to check on the tentative date and was told they are back orderd for another 8 weeks. I am very upset with the store as they offered me loner chairs but will not deliver. Finally they said I will check with the manager and get back with you. Well she calls back and said we will try to fit you on our delivery schedule but its no guarantee when they can do that. I have a wedding in family towards 8/30/17 and will have so many guest coming to our home. I am ashamed to take someone to eat at my dinner table with this poor, peeling and nasty chairs. Scandinavia should have replaced them right away or at lest attempted to deliver the loner chairs to us ASAP. I love there furniture style but will Not shop here nor refer any of my family due to poor customer service and warranty issue.

Ive been looking for the ufo lounger for years! I was so excited to hear from a relative that not only had they found a store that carried it, but they would deliver to us several states away! He & I ordered the same chair. I think I lucked up bc I only had to wait a little over 2 weeks for mine, he waited more than 3 months despite being promised 60-90 days. His order was placed 10 full weeks ahead of mine. We both got our chairs today.After ordering my chair, I was told it would ship the following week. I had to call back twice to get shipping updates when it didnt ship on time. I felt like I was pestering them, but they were at least very friendly about it. I should never have had to call them though. I would expect to be contacted when theres a delay in shipment.I owned the Cellini ufo lounger years ago. I loved that chair, so I knew what to expect & thought thats what I was ordering. That is NOT what I received. My first chair had in fact been imported from Italy. This chair was made in China (there are stickers indicating such on the bottom), the quality is somewhat degraded & the holes for one of the legs were drilled incorrectly so I cant put it on securely. Not that its a bad chair, its just not what I had previously & thought I was purchasing again.While were both thankful that we found the likeness of our old chair, & they delivered to us; Im disappointed in the amount of money I paid for subpar quality & communication. I will accept the valuable lesson I learned about ordering furniture online without doing proper homework.

Hardly has any mid century modern furniture any longer

My shopping experience with Scandinavia reaches back to pre-Katrina days and the store at Airline and Clearview Parkway. If you like clean, modern, innovative designs, theres no better place to furniture shop in the New Orleans area. My recent experience has been so superior that I dont know why I bother looking elsewhere. Greg and the staff are friendly and flexible, and interested in repeat business, not just the sale.

Everyone is very pleasant to work with. The sales team are not an overly aggressive bunch and are always ready to answer your questions.

I order furniture on January 4, 2018 its been 6month 2week and my furniture still havent came in. I never received a call about all a possible date of delivery. I call in April for a update told me another 5-6weeks well still no furniture. When i call the response was always im sorry, i dont know why, or its in the water! I ask for a refund and i will never shop at Sacandinavia again!!!!
