Absolutely loved shopping at MaeMe! As a wedding dress size 18 and with a pretty tight time crunch, I was really worried going into wedding dress shopping. The second I walked into MaeMe, all of those worries went away. They put me in dresses that fit me and understood my vision from the start. They paid attention to my preferences and knew what to put me in next. The whole process was super easy and stress free! My dress was in quicker than I could have ever imagined and was absolutely stunning. I am so thankful for MaeMe for such a great experience!

This was the third bridal shop I had visited and the experience was so different than any other place I had been. Prior to your appointment, they take the time to call you and talk about your budget and what youre looking for. Right when we walked in, we felt so welcome and everyone was so nice. Cecily welcomed us to our seating area and started pulling options. We had so much fun and never felt rushed. I was grateful for the various sample sizes after having to struggle with small sample sizes at other stores. The sample I tried on was brand new and was a few sizes too big, but Cecily pinned it so well, I ended up going with that dress! It makes a huge difference to have a knowledgeable consultant, a nice fitting room and good lighting to help you envision what your dress will look like after alterations. The process was easy and fun. The other shops I had visited left me feeling frustrated and rushed. Im very excited to have found my dress here! I cant recommend this place enough. They truly care about helping you find the right dress and make the whole experience exciting.

I felt so lucky that I ended up at MaeMae. I heard great things about this boutique but was unsure and made several appointments. I was very nervous about wedding dress shopping and unsure what I pictured myself in. My attendant was so helpful, and I dont know what I would have done without her. She called me before my appointment to get to know me a little bit and at the appointment had me try on several different things while all listening to what I thought and using my feedback to find different dresses to try on. I ended up purchasing the dress she told me she pictured for me once she got to know me a little bit! They were SO body positive and did everything to make sure I felt beautiful and comfortable in my dress. They also handled cancelling the rest of my appointments for the day so I could focus on celebrating! I cannot recommend them enough.

I was there this past Saturday and I cannot say enough about the staff!! They were amazing, I felt like I knew Lauren and Hannah before I even stepped foot in the door. I visited several bridal shops and MaeMe was the best buy far!! Selection of gowns was extremely extensive. Im a plus size bride. Other boutiques were more expensive and the dresses looked lower quality. The consultants were friendly, calm, relaxing, and attentive. They allowed me to break payments up too. We came in from out of state for our daughters wedding dress shopping and had a great experience here from the moment we walked in. Hannah was a doll to work with.She is kind, caring and knowlegable. I’m soooo thankful for the ladies at this bridal shop! Our reception is next weekend (we got married during the pandemic) and I learned THIS WEEK that the seamstress couldn’t bring my vision for the dress to life. Needless to say I cried a lot! I called Maemae’s and explained my dilemma as well as my short timeframe to find a solution. I spoke to Hannah on the phone and she was so sweet to me. She allowed me to come in ASAP to look at my gown to help guide my next steps. When I got there she had a dressing room set up for me. The ladies at the shop looked at my dress, guided me in the right direction and even provided me with contact information for someone who might be able to help in such a short timeframe. One of them even noted that Hannah was concerned about me all day. The experience helped me go from chaos to calm, and I’m very thankful for them because they didn’t have to do this as I did not purchase my dress from them. They went above and beyond and I’m very grateful for that. As I was leaving out I noticed some beautiful dresses in the window and would definitely encourage any bride to shop there for a positive experience.

I went here with no expectations. I had a very small budget compared to most brides. When I went into the shop I was treated like a princess. I was upfront about a budget and they never once tried to talk me into something more or have me try on stuff I couldn’t afford. These ladies brought me several dresses to try on in my budget range that were all breathtaking. I had actually left with a dress that was beyond what I ever dreamed I could have. It was beautiful! The entire staff made the experience for me so amazing. I cried leaving the store because I never knew that I could feel like a princess. I was so blessed to have met these ladies. I hope everyone looking for that perfect dress will make an appointment to come and visit them!

This is the best wedding dress shopping experience in the city. I dont like shopping, but the staff in this store is superb. You can really tell they all love what they do. If you can take a weekday off to make an appointment, I would also recommend it. The store is less busy then so you can really take your time and enjoy the experience.

I drove from Pensacola to Maemes and it was well worth it! I truly can’t describe how amazing everyone on the staff was. I had another stylist have to step up then the one that I originally was booked with and she was absolutely perfect and didn’t miss a beat. They made me feel like an absolute princess! I found my dream gown and way more! Will definitely recommend everyone to go there!

I found my dress at Maemes today!! I had been to four bridal salons previously and Maemes topped them all. It was an amazing experience and Hannah was so sweet and genuinely cared about my experience! Alyssa Ann was also amazing and genuinely wanted me to find the dress I loved no matter where it was! The ONLY place in the New Orleans area to go wedding dress shopping. Melissa Ann and Hannah made this experience so magical. The boutique itself is gorgeous and they truly pride themselves on providing a memorable experience for brides. I paid extra to have the boutique all to myself for the night with my family and friends and 3 days later I am still looking at videos and pictures from my 2 hour appointment. I HIGHLY recommend booking the private experience if your budget allows. The entire boutique is yours and they go above and beyond customizing it to you. I even got to pick what songs were played on the boutiques speakers! One of the best decisions I made so far was going here to buy my wedding dress.

Mae Me’s was an amazing experience for the bridal party. They made sure to accommodate my bridal party while following all Covid restrictions. They did an amazing job with finding dresses that matched my personality! The Mae Me team was able to find “the dress” in the first try, however encouraged me to try on all options just to make absolutely sure that was the best fit! I highly recommend this bridal boutique to all brides in search of their perfect dress!

I had a terrible experience at another local bridal shop and had reached out to some some friends for their recommendations for a great place to find my wedding dress with EXCELLENT customer service. My one friend said, “Go to Bridal Boutique By MaeMe. I got my wedding dress from them a few years back and their service was exceptional!” So I went on their website and viewed the gorgeous dresses they had and booked an appointment. One of the ladies called me the next afternoon to get a better view on what I was looking for, my budget, my wedding date, etc. She was super super sweet and helpful and gave me a great feeling about doing Business with them. When I arrived to my appointment my mother and I were immediately greeted by so many smiling faces. I was placed with Hannah who was SUPERB!!!!!!! All of the ladies were magnificent but Hannah made me feel so comfortable and beautiful in the dresses I tried on. She was honest with me on dresses that we both agreed was not “the one” and honest about those that were perfect. I didn’t feel hassled and didn’t feel like she was pushing me to get any dress. She stayed within my budget and treated me as if she had all the time in the world for ME! I didn’t feel rushed to make a decision at all. I was torn in between 3 dresses and Hannah said, “We can try these dresses on all day until you decide which one is THE ONE.” I ended up picking my dress and was so happy that Hannah was there with me the whole way. I would recommend this bridal boutique to ANYONE!!!!!!! I was not disappointed and felt like a member of their family. Yesterday I had an appointment at MAEME with Irene. Everyone there was so sweet and very helpful. Every dress that Irene had me to try on was beautiful. She complimented me on every dress. But once she brought the last one to me and I tried it on I just knew that was the one. She finished it off with the veil and the bouquet and is was a YES as soon as I saw myself. I ordered a bridesmaids dress from a website, which will remain unnamed, and received a dress with no indication of the size. It was extremely small and did not fit the measurements per the website. My friend, Amy, bought her wedding dress from Bridal by Mae Me and had a fantastic experience. I called them around 11am and explained what happened and by noon I was in the store being shown various bridesmaids dresses. They had a dress extremely similar to the one I ordered, color and style. I found the wedding dress of my dreams at MaeMe and it was the easiest part of my wedding planning. I scheduled a VIP appointment (I highly recommend that) on a Sunday and picked the first dress I tried on. Of course since the whole store was filled with my bridesmaids, MOB and MOG and no one else it truly made the experience so much easier and fun. I tried on about 10 dresses total but ended up choosing the first dress I tried on. MaeMe was the one and only store I went to because they had so much to choose from! I had appointments scheduled for a few bridal shops while I was in town for a few days. MaeMe was my first appointment. I thought I would just browse to see the options available for me, but ended up finding THE Dress at MaeMe. Kristie was absolutely amazing to work with. She went above and beyond to help me find the right dress. She was very patient and accommodating. She was very knowledgeable about the different dresses, silhouettes, fabrics, and designs they have in store. She was also very knowledgeable about the different alterations necessary for the dress and how it will affect the look and budget of the dress.Initially, I was a little nervous and unsure about what kind of dress I want. Kristie took all of my opinions and criteria into consideration and was able to pull out several dresses I like, all within my budget. She gauged my expressions and reactions and asked for my opinions after each dress. Kristie was able to use that to narrow down to the dress I eventually fell in love with. She even made an appointment for me the next day to bring my mom and sisters back just to see me try on the dress. She has made the overall experience very enjoyable and stress free. Three stars because Amanda was an awesome bridal consultant! She was able to find my dress according to my liking and they have a wide selection for plus size brides. However, they are partnered with the alteration shoppe across the street. The dresses are typically like $1200+ and at MaeMe’s the alterations are not included. I genuinely think they purposely order a couple dress sizes up when you place you order so the Alteration Shoppe can charge an arm and a leg. Made an appointment with the Alteration shoppe and they are charging me about $600+ for alterations....... that’s half of the price I paid for my dress. What the hell did they take measurements for then! So furious with that. MaeMe you can do so much better and include alterations in the dresses. Weddings are already expensive and of course people say to the bride: “Don’t stress” well this was one of the most stressful things as a bride.

I bought my mother of the bride dress there. the dress I tried on fit me perfectly, but they measured and ordered a size larger. The dress was too big, and had to be altered, When I took it to the shop that does their alterations, they said if would be between 180.00 to 250.00 to do the alterations. I took it to another seamstress and she did a beautiful job for 1/3 of the price. My advice buy the size you feel comfortable with.

The best advice I could possibly give a bride is to go here. I went to a few places before this, and they just didnt begin to compare. My consultant, Norma, was truly professional. She knew what kind of things to pull for me and she asked for my thoughts on each one. The very first dress she pulled was the dress of my dreams. The store is beautiful, and they a wonderful array of styles and sizes to try. There was nothing remotely like the dress I picked anywhere else in the vicinity of MaeMes! From the experience I had, I firmly believe I will be satisfied with the service until I finally wear my dress. I will be back with members of my wedding party!

I didnt end up getting my dress here, but I loved my experience. Marissa was super helpful and picked out some gorgeous dresses for me. They were super respectful of my budget and were focused on me being happy with my dress, not making a sale!

MaeMes was the fourth (and final!!!) bridal boutique I tried dresses on at and it was by far the best of all four. My consultant (Mary-Kate) was amazing - super friendly and knowledgeable... she totally got me and my bridal style. After showing her pictures of my two favorite dresses that I had tried on at other stores, she pulled the most AMAZING and perfect dress. It was truly everything I wanted in a dress and we all knew the moment I walked out. All of the consultants were knowledgeable about what types of customization the designer allowed for the dress and what additional modifications could be made in alterations. Melissa was also incredible and really helped us decide what the best size to order was and double checked all of my measurements before ordering because I was in between sizes. Truly a great experience and I cannot wait for my dress to arrive!

My experience with The Bridal Boutique by MaeMe was more than I could have ever imagined in finding the most beautiful dress to get married in. They were so professional, kind, classy, and genuinely passionate about helping a girl find the dress of her dreams. Another girl and I had our appointments at the same time, we had completely different style dresses & veils, both equally as gorgeous, and both said yes to the dress. I had a VIB appointment at The Bridal Boutique by MaeMe and had a really great experience! Hillary was my stylist and she knew exactly what she was doing. I told her what kind of dress I was looking for and she was able to find the perfect one after only 2 dresses! She was fun, professional and very knowledgeable. The entire appointment felt very genuine and honest; Hillary went through all of the policies with me and stated everything I needed to know. I had a great experience here finding my wedding dress - the staff was patient and helpful and worked with me to find something that fit my style. My dress is one that I might not have found on my own, but my stylist pulled it off the racks and I fell in love! I love that the dresses arent in bags - it makes for a comfortable browsing experience, and the dressing room area is spacious and accommodating for a group of people. I cant wait to see my dress when it comes in!

I would recommend everyone go see Megan at MaeMe! Originally from Myrtle Beach, SC, my husband and I recently moved into the area by way of Oregon for work and loved New Orleans so much that we decided to have our wedding here. All the typical stress that comes from planning a wedding was with me everyday, not to mention our nearest family members were 13hrs away and we had no familiarity with the area, local vendors, etc. The second I walked through the door the staff was friendly and extremely helpful. I wasnt just another customer. They asked about my story, my family, and invested their energies and support in me even before I purchased anything from them. I was so comfortable with them I bought my dress BLIND (i never saw it in person or tried it on before i signed the dotted line). They helped ship a sample size 2 (im a 12) in to the store AND had another bridal consultant try it on for me so I could see what it looked like!!! Because of their excellent customer service, I easily trusted them enough to invest. I couldnt have been happier and I encourage everyone to check out the amazing selection they have over there. Hillary is absolutely amazing!!! This is one stylist who listens to the bride and produces the perfect dress, even if the bride is not quite sure what that dress would be. Mae-Me is very respectful of the brides wants, needs and wishes, as well as the budget. Hillary listened to my daughters dreams and made them come true. We all had tears in our eyes with dress #3. As the mother of the bride, I was very much at ease with their entire process. I highly recommend Hillary and the team at Mae-Me. This is one bridal shop that makes you feel special when you walk into the doors for your appointment, and then you leave feeling like a million bucks and on cloud 9 because they produced your dream wedding gown.

Beautiful dresses huge selection. Gorgeous wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses as well. Staff very helpful. Environment very clean and decorated very high-end.Cost can be a bit expenses for wedding dresses and bridesmaid dresses. Be ready to spend a lot of money in this store. Besides that you will love the dresses for that special day.

They were so helpful! I was able to make a same-day appointment, and when we showed up, we were greeted and helped almost immediately, despite the store being quite busy! My stylist stayed and helped me for nearly an hour and a half, until we found The Dress, and helped us make another appointment for the bridesmaids on Monday! Based on the manufacturers policy, we are required to recommend that you chose your gown based on the fullest measurement as gowns can be sized down in alterations. There is little that can be done if a wedding gown is too small. This is not a ploy to require additional alterations, this policy is to ensure that you can fit nicely in your gown, and have it tailored to your exact body measurements. The contract that you signed (and initialed next to this exact statement) reads: All manufacturers suggest ordering based on your largest measurement, however size choice is ultimately your decision… I understand that alterations may be necessary, and that alterations will incur an additional charge. If you are thinking about going to MaeMe’s for tour wedding dress search, DO IT! By far the easiest choice I’ve made during my wedding planning. They accommodated my large group, even though it is not recommended to bring more than 4 guests, which I appreciated so very much. Amanda was my stylist and she is amazing at what she does. I was about to say yes to the first gown I tried on after trying on about 6-7, and she asked me if there were any last requests that my group wanted to see or that I wanted to see, and my granny made a request of a certain style (which I was so against before my appt.) and it ended up being the one! She definitely captured my style perfectly! Can’t say enough good things about MaeMe’s!!!

Maeme was the first, and only it turned out, place I shopped for my dress. Their selection is great and Kristie was even better. I had no idea what kind of dress I was looking for and she helped me find the perfect dress with no stress! She was not at all pushy, but was so helpful with guiding questions. She kept magically making dresses I was imagining in my head appear and they were in my budget, which was on the lower side. Untrustworthy, just trying to get more money. Convinced my sister to order a size up because alterations are free even though the size down fit perfectly, however when she went to get the dress altered they told her to refer to the very tiny fine print and told her it was not included. Completely untrustworthy. I would not recommend this if you would like a happy bride.

Very disappointed with my daughters experience today. The wedding dress has ARRIVED!!!! could not wait to try it on, however, the whole experience was horrible, The Bridal Consultant showed us to a fitting room, brought the dress to the fitting room then walked off and left us to fend for ourselves. She then came back to help with the veil, and offered no additional help with accessories, jewelry, shoe, etc. the most she could offer was a card for alteration. So if this is the service you get for paying CASH $$$ for a dress when ordering I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE.

I was looking for a Mother-of-the-Bride gown. The gowns were very beautiful with lots of beads (more Mardi Gras Ball type gowns) & over the budget that I had set for myself. I did not try anything on; but was offered help. The sales lady mentioned a delivery period of 6 to 8 months with explanation of why it taking that long.

I made an appointment at Mae Me after recommendations from three of my close friends who successfully found their dress at the boutique. My consultant, Norma, was very personable and helpful; she knew exactly what I was looking for based on just a few pictures. After trying on only four dresses, I chose the one, which just so happened to be the first dress Norma pulled for me. And when I had a mini panic attack about my color choice 24 hours AFTER placing my order, she calmly assured me that she could change the color for me without any problems.On top of that, during the selection process, Norma listened to everything I liked/didnt like about each dress and was truly a pleasure to work with. Even the other consultants, whom I didnt work with one-on-one, were extremely sweet and offered great customer service. For a girl who hates to shop, The Bridal Boutique by MaeMe made my wedding dress shopping experience a walk in the park. Thank you ladies!

Im an Orlando bride. I had tried on all but two dresses before my appointment at MaeMes. I had no idea what wedding dress shopping was all about. All I knew was my wedding was fast approaching, dresses made me feel ugly and fat, and I was basically screwed. I tried on two dresses that just didnt work. My mother in law to be saw the dress on the mannequin and said you have to try it. The dress had think straps. I didnt think I wanted that. But my consultant took the time to build me and my self esteem up. When i turned around and the lights dimmed all I could see was my future husbands reaction. I knew this was the dress. But the logistics of my situation freaked me out. I ended up buying my dress and veil from MaeMes. Once my dress got to New Orleans, they sent me pictures of it on the hanger and then they got it to me overnight. Hillary calmed my nerves every time I called. I was so paranoid specially with the Alfred Angelo mess. When my dress came, it fit perfectly, wasnt damaged and was everything I could have ever asked for. I truly felt like a princess and it was the best experience ever. So thankful I took a chance (: thank you again Hilary for all of your help.

Do me a favor and do not get your bridesmaids or bride dress here. I went to get my measurements for the dress and the dress they ordered was a super big size. Only thing they offered was to give me a $50 credit. Other words i paid like 260 a dress that did not fit me and alterations were more than the $50. So you actually have to paid for this on your own. Dresses are too expensive for them not to take full ownership of mistakes. Horrible experience of bridesmaid

MaeMe saved me!I live in Houston, now, and the bridal boutique I originally consulted with here left me in a lurch. Three months after my guaranteed purchase, this TX boutique called to say my dress was-- for some inexplicable reason-- unavailable. With six months left before my wedding, I felt helpless! MaeMe pencilled me in one day while I visited family in NOLA the following week, and from the start, the MaeMe consultants made me feel welcomed and supported. They are knowledgeable and were immediately able to help me find several gowns that suited both my aesthetic and timeline.
