Inviting entrance with plenty of associates on the floor which you dont see to often these day. Well stocked bath, jewelry, bath aisles. Large Ladies shoe dept but no mens !?! I looked at clothes but after awhile everything starts to look the same. Prices are still lower than the brand stores with the same merchandise. Large candle dept. Would be great if tjmax carried Woodwick. Not many sheets to choose from in 100% cotton but many towels. Id like to see My Towel carried in TJMAX which is the best !! The furniture was scarce compared to months ago which maybe they are sitting in a ship off the LA dock? When I saw the check out line it was so long I almost left my buggy of stuff but it was moving fast. The cashier was accurate and friendly and thats 2 good things.

Convenient location. Its right next door to Home Goods so you can shop both places.BUT the store is HOT! It feels like the a/c is broken and in Louisiana thats a no go. Especially if youre making people who work there to wear masks all day! 🥵BTW, the mandate was lifted. Stop making your employees wear masks.

I applaud the staff for their excellence in customer service. I purchased multiple purses and back packs during the weekend. On Monday I returned one of the back packs. Unknowingly I left medications, money and many items I need for daily living. They went above and beyond the call of duty by contacting my pharmacy which notified me. My hat is off to the staff of T.J. Max Metairie, LA located at 6601 Veterans, Memorial Blvd. Again Thank you!

My mom loves this location. We usually have a great experience every time we shop. They have great deals and its always clean. Ive only encountered a problem once, were the associate ignored me at the jewelry counter and decided to help the white lady instead. I pointed out the problem and she apologized for her actions.

I went to TJ Max in Metairie on Veterans near where the Home store is right next to it. While waiting for my relative to shop I wandered around looking for the womens plus size section. I finally found a worker who informed me that directly in front of me was the plus size section. I asked so it starts here and gestured going towards the front of the store? She told me no that what was directly in front of me was it. I said well that isnt much! She then said she was sorry and walked off. The section was maybe 4 very small racks. Not even the size of my CRV. Probably a little under half of the size of my vehicle. So is TJ Maxx sending a message that they dont cater to plus size individuals? Every other department has rows and rows and racks and racks of clothing. The plus size is extremely small and there is no signage to indicate where its located in the store. I will NOT be going back there if theyre discriminating plus size individuals.

I love the clothes however the line was long at check out and so was the wait. When I got home to put up my merchandise the cashier left the security tag on my lucky brand t shirt I bought, so now I have to go back to have that removed. Im not to happy about that. Overall, . I enjoy shopping at this store. They have wonderful finds although it can be hit or miss. My best advice is if you want a specific item to check with them weekly as their stock changes quickly. The staff is helpful if your attitude is welcoming. Lines move quickly.

Great merchandise, even better prices..t.js always has a lot of great clothing, purses, shoes and perfume! You have to like to look threw alot. But then you find great things and I think its well worth it.

Actually that was the first time going there I went there for a gift that someone asked for interesting store. Employees seem to be happy and smiling. I think Ill go back and check out the merchandise.

The store is pretty decent. Good selection. Occasional long lines that are remedied by calling more staff to the registers.For the one star complaint, if the customer has been here a few times, then sure it is fine to give a one star. But in general as with most reviews here, your experience should be pretty good.

One of my favorite places ever

Lines were extremely long almost to the door, there were too few workers. Not even enough workers on the floor for assistance. This was not a good experience for me and my family yesterday. I was also used to a better selection of clothing. Babies, teens, and female clothing selection from this store.

My husband and I were trying to make a purchase by the jewel department in T.J Maxx . The worker Tara V., who was working in the jewel department at the time was extremely rude and disrespectful and she completely discriminated again us. My husband called her over so we can look at a pair of earrings for our daughter as a gift. I am African American. As Tara V. came over to open the case were the jewel is a older white lady said let me see these Tara V than closed the door to the jewel where the earring was and stepped away from us than went gave the white lady the watch she was looking at. My husband and I looked at each other, like did that just happen? My husband than called Tara over again and said, we where here first, and I just called you. Tara V stated she didnt care and shes helping the other lady first,than she said she thought he called her over to wait on the better customer the other lady just put the jewel down and told her to go help us and walked away. We did the same. We just went checked out with what we had in our basket. Never experienced anything like this before. Totally embarrassing, humiliating and hurtful !! We didnt spend a little of money there .

TJ Maxx on Veterans Blvd is nice and has wide variety of items. Seems to be better stocked than TJ Maxx on the Westbank in Algiers.

Poor customer service. All I wanted to do was exchange my bag that I purchased about 2 weeks before that started ripping. I presented my receipt and still had to wait. They made me feel like they thought I stole the bag even though my receipt was legit and I had the card I payed with. Even after all that, they were still looking at me suspiciously. I didn’t even exchange the bag, just took my money. They will never get another dollar out of me

Its the end of the year, so theyre having lots and lots of merchandise marked down. Very good prices. Great prices on jewelry. In fact, most of their winter apparel is on sale. Almost everything is on sale. I love shopping at T J MAXX.

Used to be the best tj maxx in this region, not much of a good selection of clothing for young boys, women & men. Line was 20 deep, yet every register was open & wait time for check out was only 5 min.

Unfortanetly, this is a sad review. My mother worked for this company for 15 years in total. She was loyal, was always on time, barely ever called out sick, always worked on her days off when requested, and usually covered other employees shifts to help out. She protected the store and their merchandise. In the end, she was fired because a customer got their feelings hurt and decided to sue the company. My mother paid the price for that. So my advice to all employees for this company, do your job, keep your head down and collect your check because in the end, you have to think about your family. If you see someone stealing and you DO NOT carry the title of LP, do not do anything about it because no one will have your back and you will risk your job. Loyalty means nothing to this company.

Just your average TJ Maxx. Slightly messy and a little disorganized, but that is not unlike any location Ive been to. My only true complaint is that the line was long and a couple cashiers were shopping the unwanted items behind the counter instead of checking customers out.

Can find great deals here but you must go regularly. Sometimes only one-of-a-kind. Have to spend time looking but can be so worth it.

Very bad customer service. I returned a shirt with a tag. The manager asked me if I washed it and was weird. How could I return a shirt with tag if I’ve had washed it?She was impolite and rude.

Great selection of items, hands down. My issue with this particular T.J. Maxx is how theyre trying to sell of broken items, especially in the beauty department. Its as if no one checks the items every so often to see if theyre able to be sold. No one really want to purchase broken items. Itd be nice if things that cannot truly be sold could be taken off shelves so that other items can take up those spots.

TJMAX is a fun place to shop for really nice stuff. I love to browse the whole store.
