Ibrahim and his crew were great to work with! Everyone in the office was helpful & very responsive, and Ibrahim was thorough in planning out our job. He worked with us to get every bit we could out of our slab. After receiving our slab, he noticed some coloring issues which he brought to our attention so we could discuss it with our stone supplier before it was cut. Turnaround time on fabrication was quick and the installation crew was great. Very happy with how our counters turned out, would definitely recommend Jerusalem Stone & would use them again.

We had a very unfortunate experience with Jerusalem Stone and in particular the owner Ibrahim. We hired them recently to install cabinets, vent hood and all trim as well as for carrera marble counters and backsplash. The cabinet installer Missa was talented and for the most part did a good job but missed a few things (including the entire right side panel of the fridge surround). When the countertops and backsplash were installed we paid them fully that day. Later that day we noticed several scratches and dings in the counters and two very poorly cutout notches at the top of the backsplash (done d/t wires even though wires were very small and the gap above backsplash big enough to accommodate them) with one having lots of scratches around it. Our outlets are under cabinet and the one cutout was showing when plugging things in. Also, the installers removed the light rail molding and did a very poor job of putting it back on.We tried to work with Ibrahim and Missa to finish, fix the work. We asked that Missa finish the trim he missed and to fix the light rail molding that got messed up. We also asked that someone repair the cutouts. We had several phone conversations with Ibrahim to try to come up with a plan- we were yelled at, told we were awful because the work is beautiful and my husband was hung up on. We were blamed for all of their mistakes (the wires being where they were; we dont understand how soft carrera is- even though we reminded him several times weve had a carrera marble countertops before). Missa told us he would come yesterday to finish, fix things and never showed up. Neither will respond to our calls, texts.We had a stone counter/backsplash installer (been in the business >30 years) fix the big cutout a couple days ago (so we could finally install our outlets) and when asked if the 2 cutouts needed to be cut to accommodate the wires he said absolutely not. He also said he never touches trim like light rail molding because hes not a finish carpenter.Finally, I reached out to the LA Contractors board and it doesnt appear that Jerusalem Stone or Ibrahim Ayyad is licensed. We will make sure to confirm that when hiring future companies, tradespeople.My apologies that this is so long but we want others to be forewarned of our experience and frustrations. Contractors should finish up their work and work for resolution on mistakes, concerns in a timely and professional manner.

These guys do excellent work. Very detailed and efficient. The stone looks outstanding. They worked very timely and made sure the job was some right. I would recommend them.

If I had it to do over, I would have used another stone fabricator. Ibrahim cut 3 oval holes into my stone when he should have cut rectangles. This resulted in us having to change 3 of our sinks. He claimed this was due to Kohler packaging the wrong sink. To his credit, he offered to replace the stone he cut incorrectly. Water under the bridge - we didnt really care about this.He lost us when we found out that he does not seal the stone that he is paid to fabricate. We learned this after we moved in and noticed water and oil absorption marks all over the $11,000 stone we paid him $10,500 to fabricate. He does not volunteer that information, you have to know to ask. Instead, he applies one coat of sealer as a courtesy and expects the homeowners to know to hire a certified sealer to appropriately seal the stone. Our stone provider reported that it is customary for the fabricator to seal the stone so we were obviously disappointed that the service was not included. If you use him, be sure to provide him with a detailed and labeled spec book for all of your plumbing and appliances before he starts cutting. Get acknowledgement receipts in writing. Also, be sure to ask tons of questions so you fully understand what services are included in your job. Take our experience as a lesson.

I highly recommend Jerusalum Stone for your kitchen and bath renovations. They are extremely professional, hard working and will supply material for jobs less than a full slab. I’ve used them for two projects now, and Ibrahim always goes out of his way to please his customers!
