My wife and I got 3 different quotes on installation of an insulated patio. We decided to go with Direct Source for the job. We were told 6 to 8 weeks which is fine. After 12 weeks I called and was told we were waiting on the color we picked out to come in, it was on back order. We never picked out a color. I asked what was available and went with one of those choices. The guys came out and removed the old and installed the new. First time it rained, it leaked at every seam. They sent the guys back out to re-seal the top. They ended up having to cut the posts by over an inch because they had the patio cover too level. They did not adjust the gutters when they did this, and now those pull away from the cover. I have constant moisture where the patio cover meets my house and already after 2 months am seeing signs of rust. I have tried to contact them to come back out but they do not return my calls. Now I am having trouble finding anyone that repairs poorly installed patio covers. Stay away from Direct Source

Ok so they started the work but now I can’t seem to get them to come back or give me a definitive answer of when the work will be completed. Keeps giving me an excuse about material not being in. Then gives me a date materials will be in. Then I don’t hear anything from production manager. Now I would just like to get thru this and get the job completed.

Do not waste your time with this company, it will be the beginning of a nightmare. Starts off with a salesperson that doesnt know what hes doing. Wanted to put a bent vent back on my house, which was bent by a company THEY hired. I was told that they could not use anything else because it was too close to the house???? I get a phone call to tell me that the slab looked great and I get home to find a hole in the slab. The idiots excuse for not seeing a hole was well you know how it is when youre concentrating on something else . . . . This is the type of service to expect from this company. Along with changing the dimensions of a cover from what was given to me on the estimate!
