Sushi (volcano roll and cooked salmon) was cooked just right and had perfect texture. The mac n cheese balls were new and Im glad i tried them. French onion soup was hot and really good.Only bad part: the location moved to New place and took 10 minutes till we found it.DIRECTIONS: Start at 17th and Alton, head North on Alton, and make a right turn into the plaza just before the bridge by dade Blvd. Cant miss it.
Everything was amazing! With my shellfish allergy I always try to avoid sushi but I was happy to be informed that Kosher foods do not include any shellfish and I’m able to enjoy as much yummy sushi here as I want with no worries.We ordered margarita pizza, fries, ravioli, and the Matias sushi roll with a bottle of Moscato and the molten chocolate lava cake for dessert 🤤🤤🤤
This restaurant deserves a lot more than 5 stars!! It was the epitome of a great Miami Beach experience. I visited on a cool Saturday night and right when we arrived we were greeted by such welcoming and accommodating staff. Special shout-out to Andre’a, the most gracious and friendly server. We really enjoyed the variety on the menu, the cool vibe and such tasty and well-prepared food. If visiting Miami, this is a must go! Thank you Matias!!!

The Frozen Lemonade was sooo refreshing on a hot summer day!!! Cheesecake for dessert was not too heavy it was perfect and creamy!!!I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone coming to visit Miami or anyone who lives here!!!

Mix of soul food and wild sushi roll.. I had the lentils soup which btw is delicious and the Volcano roll, warm and to the point. Seating outside is super cozy on a warm breeze south beach evening. Sunday live jazz music brings NY vibes in the joint.
There is plenty of convenient parking right beside the restaurant. We were greeted at the door in a friendly manner and seated.The restaurant is very clean and has a pleasant ambience, good lighting - not too bright - with both indoor and outdoor seating. We opted for indoor seating because of the AC, which works great, by the way.The food we ordered (pizza and salad) was excellent, freshly made, generous portions and arrived in a timely fashion. (They modified one or two ingredients, as requested.)The waitress - Maria - checked in several times to ensure all was in order. She asked if we wanted the left-over pizza to go and packed it properly. Excellent, professional and friendly service.We highly recommend this restaurant.
#1 dairy restaurant in south Miami the amount of items on the menu impressed me. I come here all the time and get something different and still never had all of the menu. Great seating and service they could expand there bar a bit but rather more of a class drink selection. Best part of the restaurant is there bathrooms, with a wide, plenty of breathing room space. Hence this amazing review I couldn’t have done it with out the bathroom thank you beautiful people ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I had dinner here with my fiancée first time. We ordered sushi and it was excellent! Very high quality, and we are not so easily impressed. Tried the Crunchy Tempura for the appetizer. It was actually deep fried salmon with a hard crunchy exterior.. killer! Our waiter Federico was a very pleasant Argentinean lad. The parking lot out front and great location on Alton Rd make for a winning combination. You can tell the owner is very passionate about quality. The out door patio is great weather permitting. The inside is a little cramped and could use a little rearranging other than that excellent. Prices are not cheap, especially for fish, but you get what you pay for.

Haven’t been here in several years and was wondering if the quality and service was still good. Got here late afternoon on Father’s Day and the place was surprisingly empty. The size of the crowd wasn’t indicative of the food as I had feared - we absolutely loved the three dishes we ordered including a poke bowl and lightly grille tuna over salad and a boring Greek salad with a scoop of tuna. Service with a smile and the presentation of the dishes really stood out. We ll be returning next time we’re in Miami 👍👍

What a beautiful neighborhood gem. They literally have something for everyone here: pasta, pizza, wraps, seafood, sushi, vegetarian, kosher. We ordered a cooked Alaskan roll, Banana Hammock roll and a milkshake for dessert. (They didnt have many available dessert options.) Everything was tasty. The environment is clean and pleasant. Good service.

This Restaurant is, in my opinion, the best dairy Restaurant in South Florida hands down. First, it has been doing business as a strictly kosher restaurant for many, many years now which is a rarity for South Florida Kosher restaurants in general. Its reputation for fresh and delicious food is pristine. Its Management and staff are always very professional and friendly and most of them have been working there for many years as well. The location in South Beach is quaint, clean, and roomy with plenty of free parking. Their insistence to maintain the highest levels of cleanliness, kashrus, and delicious food has earned them the Blue Ribbon Award without even thinking twice.

The food is great! And love sitting outside, service is a bit slow but they do make the food fresh, so you need time to sit, but in a nice evening weather wise its very enjoyable. We also booked a party of 20 and they did a wonderful job, it was a prefixed menu, and the food was plentiful!!! Everyone at the party was really impressed! Definitely reccomend!

Unimpressed with the food here. Everything we ordered was just ok (and some were just bordering on inedible. The pina colada my wife ordered was totally bland and tasteless), and they were quite overpriced, especially for the quality of food they deliver. When I complained to the waiter about the pina colada he was nice enough to take that off my bill, and I really appreciated that, but still I would not recommend this place.

Service was fantastic! Gisela was truly amazing, food was delicious (get the sea bass), The milkshake was G-d Awful though, tasted like it was just crushed ice with some white coloring and sugar. A little more expensive then I would have expected (even factoring in that it is Kosher.) All in all a wonderful time and I would highly recommend .
I went to this restaurant with three of my friends when on vacation in Miami. We all really enjoyed! The menu was large and the food was delicious. This is the best place to hit Miami,FL in a long time. Everything Ive had here is delicious, from the kabobs to the salads. The chicken and salmon have been cooked perfectly every time Ive been here. My favorite is the Mediterranean salad with white meat chicken and babaganoush on the side. The dressing is amazing. Everything is super fresh. Yum.
We had such a bad experience for lunch today. Waitress was so rude to us for no reason. Didnt pay attention to us when we arrived, we sat for 20 minutes waiting for menus and when we finally got, no one would come to take our order. She even blatantly ignored me, when she came to tell us that half the menu wasn’t available, and I asked her if we could please order. We waited again, and after ordering, waited an hour for food. The food was OK but she tried to charge us $1 for tap water. When I asked why, she said it was bottled water, which was a scam because the bottle said “sparkling” but the water was still. Insane!! She said “do you really want me to take a dollar off? Fine” and stormed off. I never write bad reviews but this was so unpleasant and I had to share.

I was completely disappointed during my visit to this place. We have a severe allergy to sesame. When ordering the sushi I was super clear and said it was a deathly allergy so they should be super careful. Upon receiving the food, it was covered in sesame. When mentioning it, I received no apology and attitude that they had to take the sushi back. For the rest of our meal, we were treated with extreme attitude. I was completely appalled by this place. For the expensive prices, the food and service does not closely compare. Would not recommend.

I put in an order for family members that were had moved to Florida from NJ and wanted food delivered to their apartment. They have Unbelievable Service, went above and beyond with their delivery and the food was amazing. I even asked them to add in a little note and they wrote it up all cutely and welcoming, it was so nice! I would definitely use them for this idea in the future and recommend them to anyone else. Surprisingly good sushi from a place with such a varied menu. Everything from sweet potato fries to pasta. We came for the namesake sushi and werent disappointed. The spicy tuna, salmon and California rolls were all generous in size and tasted fresh. Good fish to rice ratio. Prices are good for being so close to the tourist areas of Miami. Would recommend for sushi if you happen to be in the area.
Place is overpriced. The ^catch of the day^ didnt say the price on the menu and we get the bill and its over $47 for a branzini fish. When ordering the salmon, I was asked what side I wanted. Little did I know I would get hit with a $9 added charge for a salad. Granted they took it off after arguing, but still very scammy. Food was pretty good but dont appreciate getting ripped off and misled.

No restaurant can compare to Seventeen Restaurant and Sushi bar. The atmosphere there was relaxing and elegant. The palm trees surrounding the outdoor dining added so much to my experience. The menu was large and extensive and the food was absolutely delicious - fresh, hot, and flavorful. I ordered a whole bunch of different options for my friends and I to share and every dish was delicious. My friends and I were only in Miami for 5 days, yet we ate at the Seventeen 3 times. The customer service was the best Ive ever experienced - special mentions to Andrea and Fredrica. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Seventeen. Thank you Matias!

The staff was kind but generally inattentive. It took a long time for them to take our drink order, and then took a long time to take our food order, and then it took a long time to get our food. They charge you for water as well, which was unexpected. The lights above us kept flickering on and off. The sushi was tasty but overall the experience wasn’t reflective of the amount of money we spent there (it’s not cheap).
Wow! I definitely recommend seventeen. Came here while on vacation and came 2 nights in a row!! We walked in and were welcomed like family. The owner and all the staff are so kind and attentive. Very positive casual atmosphere. We had Italian food the first night and asian the second. Both so well done. The bruschetta is a must. The salmon teriyaki was great, the sauce was delicious. Everything tastes so homemade, fresh and delicious. The baker is on premises and the baked good are always fresh. Had the best apple cake and chocolate chip cookies. If youre in the area check it out! :D

Absolutely way overpriced for two plain roles I was charged $26. The service was horrible and rude. Then tried to charge me extra for spicy mayo. This is not the place to go.
Ordered over $200 dollars worth of food, the waiter added another roll of sushi by mistake. We told him that we did not order it he then brings the roll back out and tells us we cannot send it back. Once again we tell him that we did not order the roll. Keep in mind this was a $9 roll on a $200 dollar menu. After arguing with us for 5 minutes he finally takes it back and makes a scene in front of the entire restaurant. Extremely unprofessional I will not be going back to this restaurant.

So where do I start?I was completely disturbed by the serviceWe were spoken to with upmost disrespectI ordered a avocado Panini which comes with onions but since I hate onions and get nauseous every time I see one I specifically asked for them not to put any onions in the Panini but to my surprise when I got the Panini it was loaded with onions. Why? It looks to me as if the employees at this place don’t like their jobs and they get paid below minimum.PS. I usually never take the time to write negative reviews But Felt felt this was necessary to notify before spending A lot of money for not good for low-quality everything.

So after walking a mile to this place, I was very disappointed. Run! This place is a small hut with sushi, pizza etc..The sushi taste horrible and the ambience is nonexistent.

This is the best sushi Ive ever had!!! Everything I had was so fresh and literally melted in my mouth. We sat at the sushi bar and the chefs were very friendly and very attentive despite how busy it was. Their Red Snapper is outstanding, and the best fatty tuna and yellow tail Ive ever had in my sushi eating life
MY FAVORITE PLACE IN THE WORLD. Get the shrimp (surprisingly amazing) and the bay scallops (I could eat 10 and not be tired of these). Pro tip: order a drink (or 2) while waiting in line!
