Theres an employee there who, after a bit of small talk, found out my ethnic background. Now every time I go there he just refers to me by the name of a popular food dish of said ethnicity. Literally just screams out the food dish when I walk in and acts like its my name. I mean it was kind of funny the first 8 times but its starting to feel almost... offensive now? I dont know. Id definitely be shopping elsewhere if if wasnt so close to the jobsite I was working at. I can only be referred to as a type filipino peanut stew so many times.

This store is great. It has been the neighborhood hardware store since 1954. Its a one stop shop. Benjamin Moore paint, hardware, plumbing, electrical, house wares, and much more. They even sell kitchen and bath items for remodeling like, shower sets, toilets, bath tubs, etc... The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. If you have an issue or a project they can walk you through it. It is very convenient having this store here instead of driving across the bridge to a big box store.

This place is the best - always someone to help you right away, super knowledgable and great price. And right in the neighborhood! No need to deal with the horrible service and crowds at Home Depot

Were new in town and wanted to paint our apartment. They were extremely helpful with much knowledge and kindness. I got more help than I needed and everything went well. Were so happy that we found this place! Neat and professional-setting paint shop and store!

Very friendly and helpful staff, definitely good inventory, but a bit pricey.. guess you have to expect that from a small shop on the beach though! Also, If you have mobility concerns, you may find the narrow aisles difficult to navigate.

Store is very clean, things are easy to find, and the staff is very helpful. The employees work hard and so does the manager. Nice to see a manager that is hands on and works as a team with his employees to make sure the store runs efficiently. Very satisfied and I will come again.

The stores huge, and had everything you need no matter how specific the request. and if they dont theyre amazing at getting things in on time. They have very friendly staff who are knowledgeable, and are really conveniently located and easy to reach. 10/10 would shop again

Tried to call All day yesterday ..wasted an hour as no reply... Finally got through to paint dept. which I wanted, nobody there either, got put back to same person who hardly spoke English ! Had ordered some specialized corking that I always from there, the lady went to pick it up, wrong color, she was told its the same ... she went before to get some 20 minute easy sand, and they gave her a ready mix, One Time Filler, told her was the same thing.. Dont know who has taken over this store, NOT what it used to be ??? Still have the 2 tubes of corking as person I finally got hold of in the paint dept. put me on hold and then phone went dead ..... infuriating !

Best hardwear store on the entire beach... just overall awesome, the employees are so helpful and knowledgeable.... highly recommended for any job....

I walked in last week and was guided to the back of the store by the paint. When I entered the room the young man behind the register was texting and did not even look up. I said hello and told him what I needed. He quickly told me they did not carry it. Later on a family member went in (forgot to mention that I was going) and was able to find on the shelf what I had asked for earlier. Overpriced and under service.

I just went in the store, and the guy calling the shots by the register was extremely rude. He acted as they were doing me a favor for being open, and didn’t know how to talk to a customer with an inquiry they couldn’t meet at the time. He was very irritable. I’ve been coming here for years and I actually don’t know if I ever want to return if this is actually their manager.

Overprice, employees not helpful and you can return what you buy!!! Never again. Worth driving to homedepot from the beach!!!
