Wow, what a great at hidden treasure. La Bodeguita is located in a little shopping center that I have been by thousands of times, but never really stopped by- and I have been missing out. First of all this place is a grocery/butcher that has any kind of meat you can think of from alligator, elk, lobster etc. In any kind of cut- there is also a mink specialty corner that has some grocery items that I havent seen outside of South America. Then there is seating in the store which you can eat your lunch in- which makes it a pretty chill place in an untraditional setting. They have a variety of food thats fairly priced for the awesome quality. We had Tapas and sandwiches and were in heaven. Everything was made fresh and was sizzling when it came out.Before you leave make sure to grab and icecream pallet which has a ton of flavors that I want to try- the chocolate brownie and strawberry cheesecake one was divine. I loved the friendly atmosphere and how fresh the food was!

Great lunch specials and nice table to sit inside. Good food. Would have never thought to eat here but the sign outside with the lunch specials made me try it. Thanks. Will be back.

Decent, good quality selection of meat as a whole or by the pound. Purchased the NY Strip Steak and had it cut by the butcher to a 1 thickness. He cleaned the bone dust off and cut some excess fat, you can also eat at the restaurant next door, but I went for the meat by the pound.

Absolutely pleased by this restaurant. Ordered for the first time and wow! Food was delicious. Baby churrasco and churrasco with mashed potatoes. It also came with a red wine bottle for a very favorable price. Portions were generous. It was the perfect combination. Also ordered plantains and rice. This restaurant didn’t disappoint. This restaurant is located in Miami lakes and the service was very fast. I’m satisfied with my food and will definitely recommend this place. Also got a complimentary dessert.

My favorite meat market, cafeteria and wine store in Miami Lakes! On the contrary to many reviews here are posting before me are not being fair to the guys that work there. Thankfully I did get to meat them personally. Every time I go there the are amazing people and cordial. You just got to know they are traditional Cubans that mean well but may rub off a little rude. And yes I have to agree that was my first impression of them, but I after I took the time to meet them and know them a little better my impression of them was totally different. By the way they are not the only workers there, there are two other young ladies that work there that are very friendly and helpful. My overall experience at this Meat Market / Cafeteria was of a warm welcome, good quality service and great wines at a great price. The ambiance also of great up-beat music made it for an even better experience. I encourage you to give this place a try, we need business in Miami Lakes like this.

Staff was friendly, there were yummy frozen pops at the front(not just the traditional kid ones), and good coffee (cafe). Staff is Venezuelan and proud, of course, and caring about their customers. If Im in the area, Id stop by again. Chill little market with tables and counter.

Amazing selection of steaks, sausage, wine, beer, and cigars. Frank was very helpful and stayed even after the closing time. He went out of his way to make my experience more enjoyable and I appreciate that. My wife said the NY strip was the best shes ever had and I have to agree. Will definitely be back.

The quality of the meat is great ...the owner​ is great and the prices are great. The butcher is a different story... Every time I go into this place they make me feel like they are doing me a favor. They make me feel really uncomfortable and just a real pain in the ass to deal with.Note to owner: fire these people ... They are killing your business!

The older butcher is a master at his craft. The meats are fresh and great quality. Also the selection is insane, from frog legs to ground camel. The prices are guaranteed to keep you coming back.

Had dinner there with family and friends, great atmosphere, live music, excellent wine and tapas, and the the diner spectacular.... Going back for grand opening on July 5th....

The food from La Bodeguita Meat Market was simply a travesty and an embarrassment. The meat was cooked super well done when we asked for it medium. The potatoes tasted like they were made out of a dry powder box mix. The falafel and kibeh was unbelievably dry and hard. It was barely edible! The delivery was half an hour late and the tracker in the app never even showed it was on its way! One of the items I ordered was not even available, they called to tell me this in Spanish later. Then they dared to argue and say they wont refund 100% of my order because I ate my food! It was inedible! DO NOT COME HERE.

Been going there over a year. Other reviewers are on target. Exotic game selection is good, manager is very friendly & knowledgeable, prices are very reasonable. Their fresh-made sandwiches are delicious if youre just looking for lunch. When Im buying meat in bulk, this is where I go.

If you havent tried this place yet, you are missing the best coffee selection in town, from white mocha to vanilla latte, caramel machiatto and cappuccinos, all made with coffee which is grinded instantly for your cup of coffee. They also have delicious frappes with a variety of flavors, not to mention best breakfast and lunch options with, of course, high end quality meat. Love the people that work there, they make you feel at home! In love with everything they have!! Service is amazing! going back for more :)

Came in to get an amazing sandwich but this time around all the staff was sick. I was going to eat there but the lady attending me was coughing in her hand then serviced me a glass of water. In that moment I decided to take my food Togo. Then the man preparing my food was touching my bread and ham with his bare hands. I then saw him pick up a call while making my sandwich . I will be throwing this sandwich away. Disgusting

The meat my husband bought was OLD, full of blood and it SMELL so bad.It had been package 9-6-19 and he bought it 9-27-19. HE went back with the old meat since he called after he open the package and they said they would refund the money and never did. We will never go back!

If I could put no stars I wouldnt I went here to try something new subs I purchased chicken fro. this place and all I can say I wish I can get my 8 dollar back. The chicken I bought today smelled like I had been frozen and thawed and frozen thawed a million times it says it was packed on the 12 of june but it shouldnt smell like I left it out for days. I have children this is so bad and I mean bad. Horrible place for business would neve shop her again

Went here for the first time and they have everything from all types of meats to seafood to wine. If you like stone crabs youve got to try their Jonas crabs. They are practically the same. Will go back for more items in the near future. Want to try their Angus churrasco!Update. 10/4/14Owner has changed products, using lower quality meats and charging a higher price. Probably wont go back anymore.

They Treat their customers with no respect in this place. The owner is aware of the bad apples he has working in there(Old Black Cuban Guy). He simply does not care even after complaining to him. i can no longer buy anything from here because he was very disrespectful to my Wife right in front of me.

Went there on Monday 2/16, was greeted by a man holding open the front door as he smoked a cigarette and blew smoke all over me as I tried to entered. Turns out, he works there. He never greeted or asked if I needed help. When he finished is nasty cigarette, he went to the back and I had to wait just to make a purchase. Need to work on customer service, dont think Ill be going there again. Can still smell the smoke....
