Stopped in for a bite before a movie and so glad I did! Food was extremely flavorful. Service was perfect. I wish I grabbed the waiters name but he has been there since May and had great knowledge of the menu and selections. Food was very fresh and the bread was definitely from scratch which I am sure goes for the rest of the menu. Would highly recommend checking out. Very nice interior and exterior.

Wonderful lunch meeting at Anacapri in Miami Lakes today.I had Lobster Ravioli with a Pino Gris and my buddy had Spaghetti Bolognese. He devoured the spaghetti - it was that good!I savored the Ravioli. The lobster was cooked just right in the firm pasta. The sauce was delicious and there was even enough left over to dunk my bread in. Mmmmmmm!Seating is only outside (with proper social distancing) for now but theyre ready for indoor dining, when it resumes, with distance and plexiglass separators.Highly recommend you visit if youre looking for authentic Italian food.

Five stars for the new location. My wife an I had a great time, we enjoyed the food, the staff is super, amazing new looking bar. If you havent been there you have to try it; the atmosphere of the place just perfect, they have live music every night! Perfect new spot on Main Street. Love it! I highly recommend it.

Last Friday I was looking for restaurants in Main Street and I ended up coming here and all I got to say ”THIS IS A GREAT PLACE” more than highly recommended. The lady who took care of my was beyond than helpful, the ambiance, the food, the views, the vibe and the man with the flute was playing excellents melodies that makes you feel such a great vibe. I’ll be coming more often the prices are super affordable.This place is a must visit.
I went for lunch yesterday. The food was poor quality, expensive for lunch. I ordered for gnocchi which is made with potatoes and they gave me pasta saying that was a new version of it. Ive never heard that in my life! Very disappointed! The service was also poor with lack of attention about the order. And to top it off, there was a lady at bar with a barking dog and the staff never said anything. I wonder if she was the manager or the owner. I wont recommend it and definitely not going back!
Great food! We had Carlos our waiter recommended some dishes and they all met our expectations. Especially my moms shes very articulate about her food and she left super satisfied. Very fresh and delicious. He was very attentive his service was exceptional. Ask for him when you come he will give you the service you deserve. Thank you Carlos for making our early dinner one to remember. Highly recommend this place.
I was just there yesterday 4/28/21 to celebrate my mother’s birthday. It was a party of 4. We got seated immediately, I want to note the restaurant was pretty empty at the moment, around 8:10 pm. They were quick to bring out water and bread for the table. We got our entrees almost an hour from being seated & it came before our appetizer. I cancel the appetizer because it just never came.. funny enough, I saw THE CHEF soon bring out calamari to the neighboring table & he stayed speaking to them for a bit. If that wasn’t bad enough, they served three out of the four entrees. I waited another 15 minutes for my plate to sent to the table. The creme brûlée was amazing. The food itself was good. It was just honestly an extremely disappointing experience overall especially for a birthday celebration.
AWFUL - this was not the experience I expected at all, especially for an expensive dining outing. My family has been a fan of Anacapri for many years and we decided to try the new location on Main Street when we saw it moved. What a disappointment! First of all, the menu shrunk, I was hoping to have the grilled calamari and that was not available nor was the selection of rissotos we used to enjoy. I decide to order a grilled artichoke and arugula salad which arrived with canned artichoke and was soaked in a very overpowering vinaigrette dressing with chunks of raw onion. When I mentioned the artichoke to the waiter he went back and ordered me another artichoke which came out grilled, but basically the same canned one was split in two and grilled! My husband and son decided to split the 24 oz Florentine steak with homemade fries, but the fries were heated frozen fries and while the steak halves were cooked well, they were smaller than 8 oz each. Finally, I was brought the pear stuffed pasta with gorgonzola sauce I ordered and it turns out it was Alfredo sauce. I lost it and went to find the manager - they had to pull him off the little stage as apparently he doubles as the entertainer, complete with a shiny suit! I stated my concerns and he proceeded to investigate with the kitchen, but came back to tell me that the artichokes are pre-grilled per the can label and the Alfredo sauce apparently has some trace amount of gorgonzola in it, thus the cook is right and the customer is wrong. Did not get an apology even. He offered to get me something else and when I declined, he was kind enough to remove the pasta and salad from my bill. Since I had told him we had been faithful customers before he proceeded to justify the experience stating that surely this restaurant was opened by the same owner so he still could not understand my concerns. I explained again they are not serving what the menu states and he said he may have these removed from the menu - which I found interesting rather than make the food the way it should be. We did not get into discussing the fries, or the delayed bread order, or missing silverware, since it was time to pay and run away. Dont waste your money there - the only positive was the waiter was a nice guy, I should have told him to find another job because this one is closing soon!

Recently ate there with my girlfriend and enjoyed a good meal. Even though there an Italian restaurant I decided to try the 24 oz ribeye steak they had on the menu and it was extremely good. A huge steak for the price and well seasoned and prepared. My date had the pear and cheese gnocchi and enjoyed it as well. Service was good and they did have live music which was a nice touch as well. Looking forward to going back.
Unless you are going with very low standards for Italian food, I would not recommend going here. First, I asked for sparkling water and lemon and the lemon was spoiled, my boyfriend asked for an old fashion that was far from being good. We never got the bread and butter that was being served in other tables. We asked for crab cakes which were not too bad, but the breaded layer was too thick and it smelled like fried too much. Most importantly my seafood pasta was not al dente at all, it looked like Cuban spaghetti. The pasta didn’t taste good either. My boyfriend’s gnocchi were not as bad, but still not good either. The dessert was good though, at last. Bottom line: go if you have no other choice but don’t expect too much.
I was referred to this place by my sister, and definitely its a jewel in Miami Lakes. Great delicious flavors, outstanding service, and huge variety of wines. The price is the best part and so its the ambience. Their chicken lasagna and the chicken piccata were awesome you taste the love in their food.
Came here with my wife and friends. It took about 20 minutes to get drinks, another 20 minutes to get our food. Our server was on autopilot and was not good. When we finally got our food, I found a huge piece of plastic in my lasagna. I asked a different server if that was from the cooking process or not, he admitted it wasnt normal at all and took the food away. My server came minutes later to see if I wanted something else. Considering how long everything has taken so far and the negative reaction everyone has had from their food, I decided itll be better to leave hungry.

I dont know where to begin... We ordered a mojito and there was a fly inside. I ordered a mushroom risotto with steak, I asked for my steak to be cooked medium well and the meat was completely burnt. In general the food was less than average (specially the caprese salad, that was definitely not mozzarella cheese). The wine was terrible and they got my uncles order all wrong. Would not recommend at all
I hate to leave an average review but overall I felt the price paid wasn’t worth the food. The service could too be improved for speed but admittedly they were busy this Sunday eve.The waiters (we had 3) took 15 mins to bring water and give us menus. A family of 6 next to us even left before ordering thus resulting in a loss for the business.The 30$ red snapper fish that was recommended to me by the waiter looked and tasted sub-par, as well as the cheese risotto. Wouldn’t recommend this plate.The 19$ lobster raviolis were better but lacked lobsters inside. The sauce was very good.We were NOT charged a 20% service fee when we went.I hope the restaurant will do better in the future. As a side note to the team, the side of the restaurant could do with more lights above the tables.
First time here and the service was horrible. They bring bread and butter to the table but no utensils had to scratch the butter with the bread. We ordered two pizzas one came and the other one was served when we finished with the first one. Menu is very limited. Not good experience at all.

Food was very good excellent service but when the band started playing They were so loud you could not even hold a conversation at your table I ended up with a bad headache had to leave early
We had so much fun here. Didn’t get a chance to try the food just popped in for drinks after having dinner and staff is so friendly. They have live music and the bartenders are great! We had a great time chatting it up with them! It’s a shame We didn’t ask their names but The gentleman was Nicaraguan (Being Nicaraguan we all kicked it off immediately), A gentleman with a bun, and we got to chat a little with the chef when he came out! Thanks for being so accommodating and having a great sense of humor. Can’t wait to visit again.
This place is amazing. I love how they changed the waiters. There’s a new waiter name Angel. He is truly represents his name. His energy, his professionalism. He is an Angel. Coming back because it him. There was an older waiter name Cesar. Wow this guy was the worse. Attitude wise, pushing you food you didn’t want, never coming to check on tables just basically selling selling! Recommended this place, go and ask for Angel.
My friend got the lasagna. It looked and smelled like a roast beef stew. He said there was cinnamon in it too... it was awful. Another friend got the pizza and said it was worse than dominos. I got the lobster ravioli. I liked mine, not great. Just good. Very overpriced. Not very Italian. Our server was nice.
This place was formerly known as Italy Today, the food menu is the same but the quality was not. Under this new management the attention was lacking and the food was not great. We arrived around 3:30pm and they had ran out of the lasagna, according to the waiter they had a really big lunch crowd and it was all sold. Until much later I was told there would be Lasagna again, but it would take about an 1 hr for it to be ready. By this time we were finishing the appetizers and had already ordered our main dishes. I was not going to wait an additional hour after having been been there for over 1 hr already. We ordered Red Sangria for the table, but it mainly consisted of apples only. It was drinkable but not real sangria. The food ordered was the Fried Calamari, which was over cooked and not hot when it arrived to the table, there was a ton of breading on the calamari and it was too crunchy, bordering on the side of hard. We also ordered what was essentially a focaccia flat bread pizza (I forgot what it was called on the menu) baked with lots of parmesan cheese on top. That was still warm when it came to the table. For the main dish the Mixed Seafood Pasta, this was by far not a seafood medley at all. The plate was cold, the linguini had no sauce and the only seafood was 5 clams, 3 shrimps. The dish had no flavor or sauce for that matter, the sauce consisted of straight up seafood water. The KCs Pasta Primavera (spaghetti pasta with all types of vegetables) was also ordered, this dish arrived lukewarm not hot, but the flavor was good. Lastly the Spaghetti Carbonara with added shrimp was also ordered. This dish was hot and had a good taste. The spaghetti was a little bit in the thick side and I felt like they werent cooked all the way but the sauce had a good flavor and the food was edible. The portion was very big (IMO) so it can be shared. For dessert they had creme brulee and chocolate cake served with ice cream on the side. Ive never had cold creme brulee and to be honest is was subpar, there was nothing particularly special about it. The chocolate cake was better. it was definitely hot and moist, it was perfect for sharing. The experience wasnt terrible but the quality of everything leaves one disappointed. The waiters werent as attentive, ours kept forgetting to bring the drinks. It wasnt very crowded at the time we went, Sunday afternoon. At the end of the meal when they brought the check (I didnt pay) a 20% gratuity was included already in the check. When we brought this up to the waiters attention he fixed the check and brought it back to the table. I believe the check was between $150.00-$180.00 for 3 people with 2 appetizers, 3 meals, 2 glasses of wine, 1 pitcher of sangria, and 2 desserts. Overall it wasnt a terrible experience but I would definitely not go back, the food was disappointing.
Wow yep wow hands down to the owner for the atmosphere of the place just perfect, the lights, the quality of the audio system, the volume just perfect.Now lets talk about the new Chef OMG, the grilled octopus you have to try it its delicious, I ate the lamb with Risotto the lamb was cooked to perfection rare with the fat perfectly caramelized, I totally love it, wait .... the tiramisu 🤗 almost cry when I tried was soft and the coffee taste delicious, the cannoli was perfectly crispy too and the filling taste great too, The bartender Jordan I think thats his name make delicious cocktail too I got martini, moscow mule and they both were great. They have a great Singer that sing classics just in tone with the place. my phone ran out of battery that why I dont have more photos but Ill add more in future visits
Several weeks ago I reserved through Google for 20 people for Mother’s Day . Received confirmation emails, went to the restaurant and asked where we would be seated .. they showed us the area and we took pictures of it and can you believe that they said I’m sorry we have no reservation for 20 !! During the time we were there many other families came in claiming they had reservations. The host kept saying that I probably did the reservation through a fake website but at the same time said they had the same situation 3x yesterday evening .. to sum it up they were trying to sit us in the alley after waiting half an hour the host pulls out a $65 prefixed menu .. poor people who actually will be honored reservation because it’s not posted anywhere!

I’ve been curious about this place for years. The food tastes really good. However, they have no wine list but tons of bottles everywhere, the menu items don’t detail the ingredients in the dishes, and we received our salad at the same time as the main meal. Note that the service charge/tip is already included in the total bill, which explains the service. Won’t be going back.
Our experience was not the best. The restaurant was out of “Gluten free” and “Whole-wheat” pasta. The food was not worth the prices. The bruschetta appetizer was dry and bland. And we had to wait over 20 minutes to receive our main courses without any updates from the waiter. Mind you the restaurant was mostly empty . The restaurant charges a “service fee”and by law, this must be communicated via menu or by the waiter. Also “service charges” are optional but I was already charged for it without notice. And then I left my credit card, and the waiter did not even bother to notify me. Thankfully I remembered before we drove off and when I spoke to another friendly waiter, she notified our waiter. He walks up and slowly gives me back my card without even a kind gesture of recognition. Like he was annoyed. First and last visit to this location.

Wonderful dinner at Anacapri, very relaxing and comfort atmosphere. The service was wonderful, the waiter Cesar, was very knowledgeable on wines and the menu. He makes us feel unique and very happy. He is keeper, great service.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. First of all, I wanted to order an Negroni from the cocktail menu they had on EVERY TABLE and the waitress said that she can only serve wines and beers because the bartender wasnt there at that moment. Are you serious? At least remove the cocktails menu from the tables. I dont think there is much more to say. Bad food quality, chicken Parmigiana a little raw on the center. Pasta was nothing special. And they dont work for a tip, since they already include a 20% on your check like if their service was good

I’ve been going to the Main Street area a lot in my life and in my most recent trip, I was so happy to find this restaurant, such a great atmosphere, good food, wonderful singer, and the manager even greeted us and talked to us. Overall a great experience, I intend to go back again and try some more of their dishes

Where did you go Italy Today, This place is no even worth the time to this review. If you are a person who love good food and frequently go to restaurants, stay away. Salmon doesnt taste as salmon,chicken doesnt taste as chicken and so on. The food quality is less than low, and at the end they force the 20% service fee. I wouldnt recommend this place and wont get back there while Anacapri ocupies this place.
Used to go there for lunch . Was there last week. Now they don’t have a lunch menu, portions are smaller and super overpriced. Now is always empty, I guess people realized the outrageous prices are not worth it

I have never had a worse experience. The waiter was extremely discourteous. We had to wait about 30 minutes before someone came to our table. We ordered drinks and 30 more minutes later, they brought the wrong drinks. When I finally mentioned to someone who came to the table, the waiter came back and took the drinks away with irritation without saying a word. Twenty minutes later a new waiter came by and informed is our previous waiter could not work with us anymore and that he would be taking over. The other waiter did not want to serve us. Then when we ordered, the new waiter came back and told us they did not have the ingredients to make the order. Very frustrating to be there for over an hour with no service. We never got to try the food. Service was so bad, we got up and walked out. Hope they can provide some training in manners to their waiters before they run out of new customers.
First of all how does a sprite taste bad? My guess the ice had something to do with the flavor. Service wasn’t that bad but food is not fit for the price at all. Really a disaster.
Really bad experience in general. I’ve been in the business for over 30 years. The service was a disaster, our waiter didn’t even know how to open a bottle of wine, they don’t have a wine list, then I asked for the house wine she didn’t even know, they had a party of 8 eating and the kitchen was going bananas, our main course took forever, the manager did try to make it up and offered a 10% + 1 dessert ! Price quality far from fair, they didn’t bring side plates with the appetizers, was funny, I needed something so I called one male waiter but he stood there like “ it’s not my table “ just unbelievable! Never again.
The food was awesome we had excellent service. We even had the general manager come visit our table to make sure that we were pleased. My husband had the fagioli soup and the eggplant parmesan, he was very happy with his selections. I had the chicken francese and I was over the 🌙.

To start, they need better butter for their bread. They also dont have a lunch menu. Other than that our lunch tasted good.
Service was decent, menu ok, food quality standard for sure not great but in fact extremely over priced, more expensive then some South Beach commodities with surcharge 20% already added. Poor lighting conditions to see a very sticky wine glass, served food or any detail pertinent in your table.
I went to this restaurant with my 2 year old thinking it might have originally been too stuffy for a 2 year old, but not only did the staff make me and my daughter feel welcomed they also catered to her in the most wonderful ways. We ate alfresco and sat in this wonderful couch booth outside where the table was small and short enough for my little girl to enjoy. Beautiful experience, beautiful people... I highly recommend this place to anyone who just wants to eat great food and enjoy a feel good environment where everyone is welcome. If 10 stars ⭐️ would’ve been an option they would’ve earned it. Everyone from the hostess to the Manager on duty was just a sheer delight and helped make my 1st mother/daughter date a wonderful memorable experience for both of us. Thank you again for being so lovely with us, it was an absolute pleasure dining with you all.
Mediocre food. Horrrible and slow service. Looks like the waitress and the kitchen staff are sloths reincarnated as humans! They don’t work for a tip, since the force 20% gratuity to your bill regardless of the terrible and slow service. Not coming back here. Save yourself the bad experience and if you give Anacapri a chance go to the one in Pinecrest!

The restaurant is beautiful and clean. Their lunch prices are very reasonable. Their bread was hot and very tasty, and I loved the house salad that came with my Linguine w/ White clam sauce. I ordered mine spicy, and the presentation and flavors were very high-quality. I’ll be back weekly for more!Edit: I haven’t seen my server for a while, and the restaurant seems understaffed. I had to wait 15 minutes for service. A new waiter seemed clueless and untrained, and the main manager didn’t notice me or help. I won’t be returning, sadly.Edit 2: In response to the owner: I appreciate it, and Ive ordered take-out from your new location infrequently since March 2020. Your prices are expensive, and I hope you re-release your lunch menu. Until then, I cant afford to order lunch from you once a week like I used to. I will call again and see if/when your lunch menu is available. I changed my review from 2 stars to 4 stars for now since your employees are generally nice and helpful. Your food is quite tasty, so Ill order take-out soon. Good luck!

Horrible customer service. Our waiter brought the appetizer and main dish and never saw him again. We were ask how was the food or anything. Glasses were dirty, forgot to bring my daughters drink. No even busy!!! The lasagna looked like an omelette. Charging too much for the poor quality of food. Never again!!

I went there with my wife because I thought Italy today was still open I used to love this restaurant had the best lasagna I ever tasted and the food was always fresh, I went in and it was Anacapri now the restaurant had changed and I decided to give it a go since we were there already my god did I miss Italy today from the service to the fresh food to the good menu items well it was disappointing, this Anacapri had horrible food the sauce which in my opinion is the most important part of an Italian meal tastes dull and has no flavor to it at all fried calamari had no crunch and no flavor either plus this part is the worst of all waiter named Carlos did not inform us they charged for the water which I find ridiculous I paid 15 dollars for water plus they had a service fee of 20% added in the bill and I looked over the menu to see where it informed you about it and it was not shown so I told him about it and removed it saying it was an error on the machine which I felt lied to the point is is not worth the time and money horrible food and horrible service plus fees not worth it.

This is a little hidden gem in the heart of Miami Lakes. The food and wine are really, really good. Sadly this past Wednesday we went for my bday and had about 10 people in the party. We were attended by Cesar and I can’t tell you how horrible of an experience we had thanks to this man. In the past then waiters have always been friendly and knowledgeable but this guy was a piece of work. The nastiest attitude, rolling his eyes any time someone took a little long to order or even had question. I’m a firm believe that if you don’t like people you shouldn’t be in customer service and this guy clearly has a chip on his shoulder about something. It being my birthday made this extra upsetting, More so towards my friends that had never been there and had to endure this man’s disgusting attitude for their first time. I’m sure they will never go back, even tho the food was spot on.Manager or owner, you should definitely rethink allowing people with this kind of attitude on your floor. Lastly, he charged one of my friend’s cards FIVE TIMES!!!! It was ridiculous. Two starts solely for this horrible experience, of the service were better the rating would definitely be higher.
Today I went to dinner with my wife to celebrate our wedding anniversary. I’m a frequent customer of this establishment.Tonight the service was terrible. We only saw one waitress available to handle all tables. She was also taking care of a birthday group which seemed to be the most important party of the evening. We had to wait for service from her which is not her fault. We noticed that the air conditioning system appeared to have issues because it was warm inside the restaurant. The food quality was good but the special of the day was over priced at $42. The quality and quantity of the meal was not worth it. When the check arrived we noticed the gratuity of 20%was included for a party of 2! This restaurant definitely does not have the standards for that kind of gratuity. I’m very disappointed and unlikely to return again.
Food was excellent. The owner greeted us and we were seated quickly. The waiter was terrible. Cecil rushed us at first. When my wife asked for ice tea and the Tuesday $10. Pasta menu he couldnt have been more put out. He was still tipped 25% and didnt deserve it, however we are not cheap. You can only drink wine out so much and have more food then you will eat, especially at a hotel with no real way to heat up. The other staff was excellent 👌.

I love this restaurant. It’s clean. Fresh food with excellent ingredients. Terrific service. Can’t ask for more. However the monthly wine tasting is so popular that it’s very much out of control. Otherwise this is a great restaurant.
Great food, large selection of good wines at reasonable prices. Easy to get to. Entertainment in the evenings.

I dont normally write reviews.. but I feel like I should give credit when credit is due.. This place was excellent! Its not a super fancy restaurant HOWEVER.. the food is divine! Everything tasted fresh the order. We ordered the Fiocchi ( i think thats how you spell it) Its pasta stuffed with a mixture of cheeses and pear. It was absolutely AMAZING. The tiramisu was fluffy, airy, fresh, DELICIOUS. Theres wine that you can select yourself and purchase by the bottle. No extra fees! The service was attentive at all times. I will definitely be returning and recommending this place to all my friends.
My colleagues and I visited Ana Capri for lunch today. We arrived at 12:30pm and the restaurant was approx 1/3 filled. They offer the Miami Spice menu but we opted for the regular menu since we were not attracted to their Miami Spice offerings. The service is extremely slow... After over 1/2 hour we finally were able to put in our order. By 1:30pm we still had not received our food. After finally receiving our food at approx 1:50pm, I would describe the salt as limp and chewy, the pasta is pretty good and the meat dishes are just average. We finished at approx 2:30 PM but since it was my colleagues birthday we decide to stay for dessert ... long story long is that we finally left the restaurant at 3pm, 2 and 1/2 hours after we arrived. This is a work week lunch, so if you are able to get 2.5 to 3 hours for lunch and like limp salads then this is the perfect place for you. What did we tip for this lousy service? 20%. Because it was automatically included in our bill since we had 6 people. Come here at your own risk but dont say I didnt warn you.
Place is cute, service is ok. The only thing I quite did not understand why they charge 10 dollars of corkage fee when you purchase bottles in-house. For my understanding restaurants charge corkage when you BRING YOU OWN BOTTLE. The food in general was ok. Show was really nice! Sound was good as well. They also tend to bring the check without you asking for it.
Great food. Great service. The owner comes around to make sure you are being taken care of. The staff treats you like family and makes you feel very welcome. The food was really good. The chicken lasagna in pink sauce is different and amazing! Pricey. Nice place for a date or for a group of friends to grab some wine after work and relax.
Wow. Incredible menu selections with actual FRESH pasta! Server was polite, informative and attentive. Nice atmosphere (not loud) and to die for homemade desserts. I recommend the chocolate anacapri. Hard to see from the street but well worth it. Already planning my next visit.
