Was trying to get a satellite radio adapter installed in my car. The place I bought it from recommended a place but they had inconvenient hours to do the work and not on Saturdays. I searched around and remember JR Electronics since I frequently passed by it. Thought I would give them a shot.I dropped in on Saturday morning and was told they could do the job that afternoon. Said I would get a call when they could do it and they did. The installation was quick and reasonable. The people were very friendly and helpful. I was even shown their work load for the day, which was extensive.Highly recommend them.

I’ve been coming to JR for years. Excellent service and fantastic staff. I recently did window tints for my new car for the third time. Never a doubt in my mind that they cannot handle the job. And their warranty is fantastic. Highly recommend.

Fast installation and good pricing for my Bluetooth LED lights but they installed them incorrectly so they are on 24-7 even when the car is turned off. The Installer did not hook the lights to the ignition switch therefore the Bluetooth connection is constantly looking for a signal. Ive painstakingly gone through 3 car batteries to finally figure out this was the issue. This has caused me a loss of time from work and money. I just wish the lights wouldve been installed correctly. This is a learning experience for the both of us.

I originally went to JR Electronics to purchase a $150.00 module that Best buy said i needed for them to install my new radio, thanks to Juan Gonzalez i found out that was unnecessary. I ended up having my radio installed at Jr Electronics instead of Best buy and i could not be happier. After the installation was complete Rick Rodriguez called to let me know it was done and then said unfortunately who ever installed your new speakers did so incorrectly, i had them re wire my new speakers ans the sound is incredible. I would do business with Jr Electronics again in a heart beat, i found them to be honest, knowledgeable, and personable thanks so much Jr Electronics i am one happy customer.

I was referred to this place by a good friend..long story short..shabby work..you would’ve thought for $1600 worth of audio The 2 amplifiers installed would have been grounded correctly..had a horrible noise caused by an insufficient ground causing engine harmonics to be heard at various speeds(low-high) out of curiosity I inspected the work with a person experienced in car audio and noticed both ground wires were grounded on a painted surface..No way possible to obtain a ground connection..we tested this with a power meter before and after we properly grounded both by grinding both areas(with a grinding wheel) down(removing the paint), placing the connections back on the original area and tested both had a ground connection...once again poor craftsmanship by drilling 2 screws to obtain a ground connection..I was sold on a impression of “ high quality work and craftsmanship “ but after doing my own research and noticing poor craftsmanship I would not recommend anyone to get their work done here..

I called to see if they had a long wait time for tints. They told me to come on by. I get there 20 minutes later and they tell me to come back a different day because they’re full. I left work early based on their availability to arrive there and be turned away. Customer service is lacking.

Stay away from this place they do not finish the job I went for a tinting window and radio installation after 9 hours they did only the tinting widow and I lost the whole day for an incomplete job

Want to start off by saying this place actually used to be good. When the original Owner Jorge was there, may he rest in peace. The last couple times I have been in there I noticed the mechanics in the back always have attitude and act like gods when you give your opinion about something. J.R Electronics never recognizes their errors, they are very unprofessional at times, and used Super Glue for some of their work(confirmed by friends and customers).The worst part of J.R that wasnt a problem before is that THEY ARE NEVER WRONG. IT IS NEVER THEIR FAULT. THEY DONT HAVE THE TOOLS TO DO THAT. It is very frustrating because if you pay for something to be done and they agree that they can do something so simple, why should the customer then have to go out and waste more money just because they did not have the tools to finish the job? It is as simple as telling the customer we wont be able to do so and so because we do not carry the tools for the job. Doing that avoids the customer the hassle, extra money, wasted time and most importantly, they appreciate the honesty and end up coming back for different services. To top it off their warranty means nothing because if anything stops working they blame it on other parts of the car instead of the product installed yet they repair the product they installed??? Yea that makes sense. I really hope they change for the better because this place has plenty of potential and if they continue with their faults and over pricing they will for sure go out of business or have to sell to someone who actually knows how to run one. This place has been around for ever. The original owners sold it about 4 years ago, but its still the best place for your car accessories. I took my wifes car in for some window tints and it came out awesome! Very affordable and with life time warranty. Definitely recommend JR to everyone

Rick helped me get the windows on my baby VW Tiguan tinted. It looks absolutely amazing! The quality and service were great! My car is now super cold in the hot Miami summer thanks to the tints. They totally set you up for success in this shop and leave reminders to be careful with the tints for the next few days so that they last a long time. My dad had his tints done here and has had his car for about 4 years. The tints look awesome and are neither faded nor peeling. My family has been going here for years and will continue to do so!

If you leave in Miami and you need some kind of electronics update in your car. This is the place to go. The sells people have a great knowledge. They will explain everything to the last detail. Prices are very good and the workers inside are very good too. I had stereo installed plus radar detector, rims and windows tinted. Everything was done very professional and clean. Customer service goes a long way. I have been in the auto industry for about 17 years I asked a simple question and one of the guys there felt the need to respond in a harsh tone. Ive always tinted all my cars at this location and have receipts for them. I went to get the same tint I always get and the price went up.I asked the guy if the price went up he said no its always been this price so I showed previous receipts to gentleman and all he said was well this is the new price.

This is the first time I write a review about a business. I strongly felt it was worth taking the time to do so. About two months ago, I took my Hummer H3 into the shop to get my speakers installed. Rick, the owner was very helpful and gave me advice that ended up saving me money and didn’t compromise the quality of the sound. I took my car back in the other day to get the lights repaired. Again, they did a fast and quick job at a reasonable price. In my opinion, Rick runs his business well and with integrity. I would definitely go back and would also recommend it to others.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Spent almost $2,600 in this place and I ended with problems, they damaged my door bezel installing insulation material to my door, they installed it in one door and was charged for 2, my new headlights which they installed stopped working yesterday after 3 months only. At the end they owner (Ricky) told me that they are not responsible for any damage in my car, really? So they damaged and installed incorrectly the equipment and they say they are not responsible? Places like this shouldn’t be operating!! If you don’t care paying money and having problems then go ahead and visit these people but if you care for your care and your money then STAY AWAY!!!!

I’ve been going to JRE for many years and even though the prices aren’t the cheapest the quality is top notch all of my vehicles have been to JRE and I own 5 last time I went my cars alarm was possessed as it would just start blaring fo no reason this kept me awake and also my nehibors so I had to fix it, I went to see my main contact there JUAN who always does his best to help customers out and so he gave me the break down pros and cons of all the options and in the end I got a VIPER alarm now I sleep well and so do my nehibors thanks to the whole crew at JRE electronics you guys ROCK!

I had them install a Pioneer double din radio, back up camera, phone microphone, 4 - 3 way pioneer speakers in the doors, 1300 W. amplifier, 12 pioneer sub with box, and a prestige alarm system with 4 actuators for key less entry. They installed everything on the same day professionally and at a great price. If you are looking for quality work and a good experience; this is the place to go to. When you walk in you talk to one of the employees, tell them what you want and they will help you to find exactly what you are asking for. Ive done multiple tints on multiple cars of mine and they have never turned purple + precision cutting. Also have purchased HIDs and they will replace if anything goes wrong within the warranty period. My go to person is Ricky so should yours.

Great customer service!!! Was recommended by my neighbor and several other friends. Went in to put tints on my new BMW. Was clueless on the whole tint thing and the gentleman helping me took his time to explain and show me the different tint films & tones. After my car was taken back I think I changed my mind about twice and Ricks customer service was always top notch. Once my car was ready he showed me the work & explained that any bubbles I might see would disappear in 3 days. Love my limo tints!!! I do recommend leaving your car and having someone drop you back off when your car is ready so you dont have to sit there and wait. The place does get very busy. Ive also changed my lights with them and til this day no complaints. Theyve always backed up their service.

Horrible experience I took my brand new Ford F450 to get my L.E.D lights installed. My headlights are full of humidity when it rains allot then to top it all off I took it back for warranty mind you they charged me $400 bucks to get them put on and still have the same problem . I spoke to one of their installers and the guy without my permission drilled holes on a brand new headlights then this guy tells me oh that’s the only way . Stay away from jr their not what they use to be as I was growing up !!!!!!!

Ive been a customer since the early 2000s and have always received top parts and service. I purchased tints, radios, speakers, lights, you name it. I was there again today for tints on my wifes new car and as always I was treated like family (even though I dont know anyone there). I was deeply saddened to find out today that Jorge passed away last year, it was always such a pleasure doing business with him. I never shop around for things that JRE sells, yeah you might find it cheeper but you wont receive the warranty and customer service they provide.

Horrible business! I made an appointment for tints at 3 PM. I was told the car would be ready in 2 hours. 3 hours later, I asked the counter lady what the deal was. She didnt speak English (typical in Miami). So I went out back to see why a VW Beetle would take 3 hours for tints. My car had not even been touched! Apparently they had trouble putting tints in the car ahead of me. I wasnt given a heads up or anything! I took my car next door and they took care of me in an hour for $20 less! There were also two other guys (with appointments) waiting for like 4 hours to correct a botched lighting system this crappy shop installed and a faulty camera they installed. They also talked crap about one customer who wouldnt buy their expensive alarm system since he had one he purchased online. This place does bad business, is expensive, and very unprofessional. Please save yourself the gas and your time!

Horrible service, everything is over priced.Employees give you attitude when you go back because something has broken.I had HID bulbs installed in my BMW head lamps and my Halos never worked.When i took my car back to see what the problem was they told me they couldntdo anything about it after i had paid $500 to get all the lights in my car changed a couple days before.I Highly DO NOT recommend JR Electronics, specially if you have a high end car.

So like some of the others who wrote reviews, I also have taken multiple cars here for various services (tints, speakers, aftermarket radio and etc). They used to offer great prices and did great work. Never made you feel like they were trying to hustle you. Well recently came in (10/2017) and spoke with someone with what I wanted. Very basic upgrade. Long story short. Ive already done my research on the types of speakers and subwoofer I wanted. Even if it wasnt the exact they had, I knew the price range and sizes and etc. Ive also worked on stereos and speakers before but I dont have time to do side projects anymore. So i prefer someone else to do it. Well this guy tried to sale me $1500 worth of work that If I bought the gear at crutchfield and did the work myself, it would cost me $350-400 max. (this includes hardware, dynamat, wiring, harnesses and tools for removing panels). They act like a used car salesman trying to hustle you. I dont know about the work quality. In the past it was great. Do your research on what you want and the equipment needed for the job before coming here. These guys could have conned me or anyone for basically an hour of work and made a profit of over $1000. If you can find a reputable place 50 miles away, its worth it compared to here. Or learn to do the work yourself and buy off a reputable site.

I been coming to this place for years When jorge the original owner RIP was an excellent guy and always was an awesome customer service business but unfortunately they sold the business to this theft people I try to put air bags to my truck and they had not idea how to do it and the guy put the air compressor where my spare tires goes when I told them to move that compressor they want to charge me again.
