I live in Homestead, so Malik Motors is 28 miles from my house. I drive a 2008 Corvette, and the check engine light came on. After a previous ‘bad’ experience at a Chevy dealer that shall remain nameless, I wanted to bring my Corvette to a place that knew what they were doing. Malik Motors was referred to me by a friend in my Corvette club. Barry Malik has a 2006 Corvette, and his business caters to Corvette owners. Malik Motors works on all brands of cars and trucks, but they really know Corvettes.I spoke with Barry and Paul the General Manager to explain the problem. While I went for coffee, Les the technician fixed my car in about 1 hour at a very reasonable cost. Les also evaluated my car’s condition, and made suggestions on additional work for me to consider in the future. I requested that they do a wheel alignment on their ‘state of the art’ Hunter equipment while I was there. That also came out perfect!Next time I need an oil change, or any other repair, I am going back to Malik Motors! I appreciate the service, the honest assessment of the car, and reasonable pricing that they offer. For me, that is worth the drive.

One rainy, flooded south Miami night, my 2002 Honda Accord drove through some water a little too deep. Hydro-locked. The following morning, being new to the area I google searched reliable, good mechanics in south Miami. First option, Malik Motors. Called them immediately, spoke with Barry(who is a very nice guy) I explained what had happened and he had a tow truck at my place within an hour, excellent! By 2pm he had the car running! Barry and his guys took their time to empty all the water from inside the motor, intake and exhaust. Most mechanics would have instantly told me I needed a new motor. I will now take all my current and future vehicles to Barry. Barry has earned my trust, let him earn yours! I will always recommend everyone to Malik Motors. Amazing service and I highly praise Barry and his whole crew.

I am so happy to have found Malik Motors. I got really sick of dealing with a Ford Dealership due to them never having time to service us and making us wait hours/days/weeks for service. My company has 2 shuttle buses and we had issues with the bus. Ford refused to even look at it to diagnose. So I found Malik, Barry and Daisy were amazing over the phone to help. When I showed up to discuss my issues, they were attentive and requested I bring my bus. They immediately looked at it diagnosed it and ordered parts to fix it. Monday 9/12/16 at 1pm. Barry called me Tuesday 9/13/16 morning at 10:42 to tell me the bus was fixed. The team at this shop is amazing and wanting to help anyone possible. I will never go back to the Ford dealership I have dealt with for the past 2 years. Malik is my new mechanic and I cant be happier with the service, professionalism and honesty. I would give them a 10 star rating if I could. They just gained a new client, that has lots of mechanical issues for being so great on every level. I highly recommend Malik Motors.

Barry, the owner, is the man. Honest guy who works hard to return your vehicle quickly and at a good rate. Ive been taking all my vehicles here since 2008. Never had any issue and have always had legitimate explanations when I have any questions about the repairs. Highly recommend.

10/10, honest mechanic, quality work, so happy I found it.I had some slight damage to the back of my car due to a hit and run. It was a small scratch on my quarter panel and some very minor paint transfer on my bumper. I brought it to three shops before I finally found Barry at Malik Motors. The first quote I received was $900 at a place in palm beach county. The second was $1200 at a self-proclaimed affordable body shop. The third was $530 at the dealership, yes, the dealership.Then I came to Malik Motors because I saw all the raving reviews, and they were right! Barry charged me just $123 and changed my oil as well as buffed out some additional scratches. Thats $400 less than anything else I was quoted while including an oil change and additional work.Barrys the man.

I brought my 2004 Corvette Z06 here was impressed with the shops professionalism, honesty and quality work. Barry is patient and takes time to explain repairs and necessary maintenance. They are Corvette specialists and do it right the first time. You wont be disappointed.

I am relatively new to Miami as I am here from Ohio attending graduate school. My 2006 Scion Tc has a few aftermarket parts (including and HID conversion system) which makes it a little risky when finding a local mechanic. The left headlight was out, and the problem was higher up as the bulbs were not the problem. Barry could have easily charged more for looking into the wiring, replacing the fuses and fixing the short; however, the price was very reasonable, and some services were discounted (also had the cabin air filter and oil changed). I will definitely return to Barry for services in the future.

Great service! The car assessment is very thorough. I remember Barry wanted to double check if there was anything else that could be causing my car problems. I had the fan belt and spark plugs replaced in my car. The pricing is fair and Barry is honest. Also, the replacements did not take very long. I definitely recommend Malik Motors!

I really like them-- they always go out of their away to help me, always being very courteous and honest. I even had them say my car did not have a problem when I took it in once, when they could have, like many, made something up. I trust them and go back often now.

Malik Motors is the only place that I will take my truck. Ive had numerous oil changes and both sets of brakes done here. Last time Barry even replaced a tail light free of charge - I dont know anything about cars and I lucked out in finding this place because after every job Ive asked my friends if they thought I was charged a reasonable rate and every single time Ive been told that I got a very good price. Its also pretty neat that Barry will show you the old parts that hes removed and explain what went wrong, and how you can avoid that problem in the future. Trust me, come here.

The owner, Barry, called several dealerships before advising me on the proper action. They also provided a free inspection for new clients. I am a University of Miami student who fell victim to Barrys upsell game... First quoted me a decent price for a tire rotation and oil change, so i left my car and then later when I returned to pick up my car there was a long laundry list of other things that he had done to my car and expected me to pay for that I had not asked for nor authorized...If you do decide to go here, make sure he states clearly what hes going to do to your car and let him know you dont want any extra charges. video record on your phone if you have to. thats what I did, almost had to call the police to get my car back if i didnt have video proof.

So, for one, Barry is a most excellent dude. And one hell of a mechanic. I have brought my car in on three separate occasions and each time was accomodated on the morning I called the shop. Barry has described and let me observe all of the work he and his crew have done on my car (even down to the rust that he has had to bang off my rotors). I am not going to say that I am in any way auto-savvy but I can tell you that my vehicle runs smoother and much more efficiently everytime I bring it back from Malik Motors.

Very dishonest business and owner... I dealt with Barry Malik directly. He charged me $250 to repair 2 wheel studs (on the same wheel) for which he had originally quoted me $60. On my return to pick up my car he would not release my car until I paid a bill close to $400. I shouldve just taken my car to the Nissan Dealership. Also he was very rough with his female secretary. Seemed like an abusive husband and wife situation (I think it was his wife, I could be wrong guess she could be his daughter). He also went ahead and did services to my car that I did not request and proceeded to charge me a long invoice (not included in my original quote). All I wanted was two wheel studs fixed. Now the bill was Including a $80 oil change on top of the original $250 for the wheel studs (the little things that your lug nuts bolt on to). Later I got a quote from midas for $15 for each one and a 30min job. Barry Malik had my car for over a day. Also upselling me telling me all the stuff that needs to be fixed on my car. Its been 6 months and there are no problems with my car that he said would happen... just upselling I guess. They did no even use synthetic synthetic oil in my car when I asked... and reused my old oil filter even though I was charged for a new one. BE VERY CAREFUL. You have been warned!

This guy was trying to lie about a h2 hummer ..he say that they dont make hammers any more ..lie lie..hummerh2 is a chevy 2500 p.u . so parts are available all te time brake job 1400 dollars and my h2 sound horrible ..horrible horrible jod ..the guy was professional ..butt try to over charge me and he did... I was specting a much better jod .
