Just moved down to Miami from NY and needed a couple new beds for our apartment. Researched a lot online but had difficulty making a decision on what to get. There are so many options and so many different reviews on what is the best. So we went to Mattress Firm in the Miami Midtown area and met Damian, who not only was very knowledgeable but also patient with us. He walked us through a variety of options, and talked us through our own personal comfort levels with different sizes, brands, and firmness. We decided to change our Mattress after 15 years and we found Mattress Firm locally nearby so we checked it out. kevin our salesman educated us on the technology of mattress and smart bases. We picked a top of the line base and a hybrid mattress to go with it. We financed the purchase and they delivered and installed seamlessly. After using the hybrid I discovered I needed a softer mattress because I am a thin guy, I run marathons and I sleep on my side. kevin my salesman gave me his cell number and worked with us for 2 months to get us a super great deal on a expensive INTELLIBED gel mattress. Today we have a top-of-the-line bass and a top-of-the-line mattress that we would’ve never had because we would’ve had sticker shock and it’s financed and it’s really easy. Sleep is the most important thing in my life and having that out of whack impacted me tremendously. If I could leave 10 stars for this place I would. As soon as I walked in I was so well taken care of. The store manager took the time to ask the level of firmness/ softness I wanted and even showed me examples so that I could be sure that my description matched what I had in mind. I was even asked what position I slept in. They took the time to explain to me how different mattresses are made so that I know exactly what I’m purchasing. More importantly they stuck to my budget and weren’t trying to lure me into buying the most expensive mattress. They even called multiple stores so that I would get the best deal. Delivery was right on time and within 48 hours. Amazing customer service, I felt like they actually cared about me and not just saw me as a transaction. Lovely store. Great service. I was made aware that mattress firm has a donation set for foster children. You can purchase a bear or pay for it to be sent directly to a child. Beyond my initial reason for stepping in to purchase home essentials it was nice to see the support and to support such a good cause. They didn’t really tell me what I was doing when I bought my frame from there. They didn’t explain it to me at all (and being a 21 year old girl) I didn’t know how to set it up!

Stay away: MattressFirm sells fake warranties and lies about their bad quality products.I purchased a mattress of $1,500 value and a 5 years warranty extra. The salesman guaranteed that mattress of this quality would last for many years. I was happy to buy it.After 6 months I started feeling some back pain and realized that the mattress was sagging a lot but I just lived with it for a while.After a year I started to have very bad back pain, I had consultations with some doctors and after spending a lot of money in scans and physical therapy, one of the last doctors I saw told me that the mattress could have been the issue.I slept one day on the floor and I got much better. I realized that the mattress was completely defective and i was basically sinking inside it (see picture attached). The mattress got completely unusable after only 6 months while the salesman promised that I would have lived with it for even more than 5 years.I contacted Mattress Firm store to request a replacement of the defective mattress based on my extra purchased 5 years warranty. They told me to contact another company because Mattress Firm apparently was not responsible. The truth is that they sold me a third party warranty, which it was never mentioned during the sale.I contacted the third party warranty agency called 4warranty. They asked me to submit a claim and they would send a third party technician (not 4warranty and not MattressFirm) to check the mattress. The first appointment available was after 10 days. Take in consideration that all this time, Ive still being sleeping on the floor!Heres the scam:The technician arrived and took a picture from the top of the mattress without any weight on top of the mattress. And thats it, he left after 1 minute. I called 4warranty after 5 days, as I didnt receive any update, and they told me that the claim was denied because the mattress had less than 3/4 of an inch in sagging.Of course it was less than 3/4 of an inch. How can you expect to have any sagging if there is absolutely no weight on top of the mattress? When I purchased the mattress, which was considered a firm mattress, it was like a rock, barely adjusting to any weight. After less than one year I would be sinking completely inside.I called again Mattress Firm store and they refused to give me the money back claiming that they are not responsible for warranties.

Damian was great, when we walked in he was on the phone, but acknowledged that we were there. He finished up and my husband and I told him what we were looking for, that we were moving to Ocala. He then told us that if we found what we were looking for it could be delivered to our new home in Ocala. He showed us a couple of different mattresses and we picked one after Damian gave us a description of each, as my husband has a bad hip and shoulder. We were very happy with our selection and time at Mattress Firm.

The worst distribution center in a company I have ever seen!! 10 days to deliver!! Came twice to deliver never never had the insurance required to deliver in the condos!! The salesperson Rodrigo was very good to sell but never did show his face on the matter after my husband called him many times!! His coworker Kevin was the only person that really was going crazy trying to help with your awful distribution roller coaster ride!! And your warehouse employee called Edwin Pinta was sooo Rude he didn’t even know what was happening!! He has no customer service people skills to work there!! Very professional group of gentleman. I was greeted right away. Before I Went to mattress firm there was another mattress company right across the street. I wasn’t sure of the size of my mattress, for a box spring, so the other company told me to take a picture. When I came back he suggested that the picture “looked” as if it was a full. How can you tell by a picture w out proper measurements? Something was very fishy so I left and went right over to mattress firm. Told them my incident and my worries. They all told me you can never guess from looking at a picture, and provided me w impromptu service. And furthermore they just wanted to take my money because there’s no refunds!
