They are simply the best alteration shop and bridal shop in Florida, and Renato is truly a genius (and can work with the most complicated dress) so if you’re looking to alter any dress, formal or not, you can trust them.i had a wonderful experience with them.they are real professionals and the staff was patient, kind and really helpful during the whole process.and yes they do custom design dresses. any vision you have, they will bring it to life!

After 18 bridal gown stores and zero luck I was losing hope that I would find my dream wedding dress. I was contemplating booking a plane ticket to NYC or LA for a better selection until my wedding planner told me about Chernaya. Chernaya Bridal House was EXACTLY the type of store I envisioned purchasing my dream dress from. Make sure you call and make an appointment because the dresses are very exclusive and couture it is not the type of store you can just walk in and browse around. The fitting rooms were extremely impressive and there arent enough great things I can say about the service I received. I felt like a princess in every dress I tried on and thats exactly what a bride should feel like when purchasing a dress for her big day. The prices are higher than average so make sure you have a large budget to spend on your dress. I bought my bridal gown and after party dress both from Chernaya. Unprofessional customer service. And poor quality control in the alterations department. My friends dress wasnt altered with the additions she requested and her bra padding was coming unsewn through the night! Also there is no excuse for the way my friend was spoken to. Being told the week of her final fitting that another bride is getting married in 2 days and her dress isnt ready either is NOT reassuring.

This was by far the best bridal experience. I shopped for my wedding dress here and it was fantastic!! They have a great selection of dresses and I was able to find my dream dress. I was referred to Chernaya by my bridal shop so I definitely expected nothing but the best. As my appointment was approaching, I called them to confirm my appointment to find out that they no longer had me on the schedule. My wedding is 2 weeks out so they squeezed me in at 6, which is closing time. That alone was the worst part and I tried to come in early because I was promised that any adjustments would be made at that appointment. When I tried on my dress, the length was still long, and the sleeves were loose and needed to be adjusted. I was asked to come back the next day, but that was just not going to work because I live 3 hours away. Luckily, they fixed the length but Josefina adjusted one sleeve and left the other sleeve unaltered. I made her fix it three times and it still seemed a little off, so she took it back and said she was going to adjust it, press it and pack it because she was ready to go home, which I don’t blame her. But who schedules clients at closing time? Overall, I am not fully satisfied with their service and work. I didn’t even receive a courtesy call that they moved location. Oh, and not to mention my dress wasn’t even press and thats another expense I have to make.

Chernaya Bridal had the best service I have ever received! Renato and his team blew me away- three weeks before my wedding weekend in Bridgehampton New York, I needed to find a new wedding dress (I was not happy with the designer dress I ordered from NYC many months ago). The team at Chernaya helped me make a custom gown from a sample dress, and I have never gotten more calls or compliments on anything. I wish I could go to Chernaya for help with my entire wardrobe. Everyone wanted to know which designer it was, or where I got the dress from. The team was efficient, accommodating to my tight timeline, and had an eye for design and flattering bodies. It fit me perfectly, and was a show stopper! Thank you!

Worst experience ever. I went there by my bridal boutique recommendations. My dress is a creation of Rue De Seine from New Zealand and is a beautiful dress that was ordered 7 months in advance. The first appointment at Chernaya was great, Josefina and the other seamstress take care of all Measurements. Then they suddenly move location to Bayshore and apparently they forgot to finish my dress. Alterations were poorly made. They left the dress too long and I can barely walk with the dress. They left the sleeves hem unfinished, basically it was baste and worst of all one of the seamstress stain the silk slip with the steamer and I found out 2 days later. Renato try to remove the stain by himself instead of take it to a laundry and when I received the dress it still have stains and look dirty. I have to return twice because of all the inconveniences and make a full inspection of the dress before leaving since I dont trust their work anymore. Finally, the dress was finished the way it should be and I manage to take the silk slip to a laundry that specializes in wedding dresses and they removed the stain completely. I request Renato to pay for the laundry service and he agreed. Pictures provided, but I forgot to take the picture of the original stain, pictures below are form how the silk looks after they tried to remove the stain which looks dirty. By far, the worst experience during my whole wedding planning was with my wedding dress alterations at this place. Stay away of this place.

My experience at Chernaya Bridal House was an 11 out of 10. Everyone there made the process so easy and stress-free. I went to Chernaya in June, 2017, to search for a wedding gown. Chernaya was one of 8 salons I visited. The salon is stunning, and the selections are well-curated. The rooms for trying on gowns are spacious and beautiful. Priscilla (the manager) and Renato (and the other staff, Im sure) are probably the salons best asset. Priscilla was kind, knowledgeable, not pushy, down-to-earth, and perfectly professional. Renato was warm, welcoming, and professional in the delivery of his perspectives. Thank you for helping me to find my beautiful gown! I coudnt be happier.

I typically do not write reviews, but my experience at Chernaya warranted outreach. My initial search for a wedding dress was all-encompassing yet yielded little results. I knew I wanted something special and different, but simply couldnt find that one. After exhausting the process, I was introduced to Chernaya. Not only was the entire team warm and inviting, they were the consummate professionals. For them, it was a concentrated focus on the experience and the excitement…and helping me. There was no added pressure or ticking clocks. I was blown away by their selection, expertise, listening ears and discerning eyes as much as I was their hospitality. Ultimately, I found my dress at Chernaya and the process has continued to be one of the most seamless and exciting. We had the amazing honor of using their Private Label Creations as well as Rita Vinieris Bridal Gown.The designers they work with are Top Notch! They really have the best selection of Bridal Designers and the greatest service/attention at the Atelier.
