The customer service is A + . Even though the store was busy, Claudia was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. She took the time to explain the benefits of shopping at AVC and there are many benefits including live tutorials, classes, studio rental, equipment rental. They also have a very nice selection of everything photo and video equipment for beginners and seasoned professionals. The store is clean and well organized and although at the time there was about 10 people shopping, there was plenty of space to not be bumping into each other. Ill be visiting the store often, at least once a month to take part in the monthly gathering . I highly recommend visiting the store and see for yourself.

I was under impression that this place is professional store but reality is that they are small business with their own return and exchange policies. Simply dont see why to choose this store over big and professional companies where you have customer service, protection better price and discounts.Unfortunately, wasted my time and lost money by purchasing from them.

While selling my used equipment the guy was trying to put a lense for crop camera on my full frame camera and broke something inside. Was trying to blame me on selling broken equipment. At the end they put super low price for my 4 pieces equipment. Not trustworthy staff. I got home, the sensor is full of dust, trying to clean it. They ruined my day. So I have checked my focusing screen it’s all scratched I have to replace it now for my own money! They left a scratch on the mirror as well. They lied they in ebay my camera is super cheap, they lowered price 5-6 times because they broke it. The big NO to this place.

Brought my Sony a7 iii in for a sensor cleaning because Id screwed it up doing it myself. Service was prompt, well done, and the people were really nice.Slightly hard to find, because the complex its in is pretty big, but I got there. Its around the corner in the center.

We dont have a lot of options for high-end video production equipment in Miami. Thankfully, we have AVC. Their selection of cameras, lenses, lighting, rigging, gimbals, and other cool toys is unmatched, ranging from pro-sumer/enthusiast level all the way up to cinema grade. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, and their pricing is comparable to what you would find on the leading e-commerce sites (minus shipping and handling). As someone who prefers to buy locally, I appreciate having an alternative to the big box stores, and AVC absolutely crushes them when it comes to service, selection, and value.

Im so happy I dame to this store, I drove for 2 hours to get here and found what I was looking for.. Totally worth it... they pretty much have everything from cameras, to ring lights, microphones, backdrops etc .. Anyways my 5 stars review is because of their hospitality they provide... As soon as you walk in youre received with a warm welcome and everyone is so attentive... I bought a really good ring light that was recommended by one of the employees I think his name is Manuel, he provided excellent hospitality. I came back the next day because I couldnt figure out how to use the ring light properly and he taught me step by step and helped me connect the wireless remote.. Thank you so much..

I called these folks four days ago to inquire about a new tripod recently released on the market. They said they had it in stock. Yesterday, I call them again from work and ask if they still had the tripod. They said they did. I explain that I would be at the store to buy the tripod as soon as I left work. The guy on the phone gave me directions to the store and said hed see me soon. I drove from my home in Port Saint Lucie, to their location in Miami. When I arrived, the young lady at the counter tells me theyd just sold the last tripod that I wanted, and offered me instead different and more expensive variants from the same company. I was upset beyond words. I left the store and called the store, getting the same young man I had spoken to early. when I called to see if the item was available. At first, he said they still had the item, then he checked and said they had just sold the last one that I wanted. I explained that this was bad customer service. He said What do you mean? I began telling him the effort it took for me to drive from home to pick up the item, only to arrive and be told It was just sold. was bad business. The line suddenly went dead. As I said to him, BAD BUSINESS! It felt like a bait and switch con job. Tell you the item is in stock, to get you in the store, then tell you theyve just sold the last one you wanted, and try to sell you a higher price alternative. Ive seen similar complaints about them pertaining to this on a few other forums review areas. Theyre customer service is atrocious! I would not recommend anyone dealing with this company based on my experience with them.In response to your response post below my original comment sir:Id loved to have written a glowing report for your company,( Im from Miami and love supporting hometown businesses) but as I have said the customer service was abysmal, and I felt the service techs made no effort to rectify the situation, in fact quite a few were witnessed to the scenario, and it appeared resolving the problem, was not anyones priority. If an attempt to do so, would have been made, I would have likely written a glowing review (Store looks great and appears to have everything Id need on hand!). Be aware!!!!. One of the workers ¨Andres¨ (Venezuelan guy). Stole the battery of the brand new camera that I bought. When I call, they said that I have to come back with the camera. When I went he said that I have to buy a new Battery because the store will not take care of missing components... I asked for the manager but, he said it was not in the store. I love come to AVC, is like a second home, Manuel always takes cares of any questions regarding products that I have, and j ok have a lot lol, and he with patience answer all, the products are top quality, and everything that cross your mind you’ll find it! I called about a camera that they had listed on Ebay for $850 and asked if I could get a better price in store and they told me to come in and they’ll see what they can do. Next day I go in the store and tell them that I’m the one who called and they get the camera and then they tell me my total is $1100 for the camera. I inform them that its $850 on Ebay and then the person helping me contacts the manager and later says best they can do is $900. I found that extremely hysterical as they sent out an offer on Ebay the day prior for $807.50 and I tell them about the offer that was sent. It only gets worse as I re-check the Ebay price only to see that they increased the buy now price to $1,099.The agent there tells me he can’t do that price so I instead told him I’ll buy it on Ebay and he says “no thats not possible”. So I buy it anyways as they have to honor that Ebay price and I select store pickup so I can pickup the camera right then and there. The agent then tells me to cancel the order and that he’ll give me that price in store. I know exactly why they did that. If bought on Ebay then they would have to pay about 7-12% fee for selling on Ebay + the shipping. I know they ended up winning because I ended up taking the camera in store instead of on Ebay so they saved themselves the fee. Overall, they were extremely unprofessional and tried tricking me into overpaying for a camera in which they basically had listed for $750 after fees and shipping. Really pains me to see businesses trying to get me to overpay for a product they have listed cheaper somewhere else. Maybe if I wasn’t so well versed on Ebay and pricing they would’ve got me, but that wasn’t the case. Everyone recommended me this store before hand but boy was I disappointed after shopping here. Will definitely not be coming back, hopefully this camera lasts me.TLDR: They had an item on Ebay for x price and they were charging more than what it was listed for. Even after contesting the price they still tried getting me to pay more than that. Extremely unprofessional.

Went into AVC for the first time. The staff was hugely helpful and helped me get into Sony gear after spending over half my life shooting Nikon.Will travel all the way there from Sunny Isles Beach for the great service and deals.

I ordered a lens from AVC through a third party website. It shipped right away and when I got it I realized I ordered the one for the wrong camera mount. I emailed the store that night and had a response the next morning offering to swap me for the correct one no questions asked. The only shipping I paid was to send the lens to Miami. I tracked its return to Miami and within an hour of UPS saying they dropped it off I had an email letting me know they got it and I would have a tracking number shortly, I had one within the hour. Cant say enough good things about their customer service.

I originally ordered online and I when I realized it was close to home, I realized I was able to pick up my equipment myself. The staff was super friendly and completely understanding. They extended themselves to me even though they did not have to. I purchased my Sony A7III with other dope accessories and I walked in and out with a smile on my face. The store is also full of other surprises and has insane deals. I wish I knew about this place earlier. Amazing store! I was deciding between camera systems and lenses when I first visited. Mike was extremely helpful, answering all my questions and messages. Manuel was just as helpful on my return visit, making the buying process a great experience. The owners and staff always treat me like family. After landing in Miami, I noticed my rear lens cap was stuck, and would not come out no matter what. I stopped by AVC and had a great experience. Everyone stopped everything they were doing and offered to help me. They were finally able to unlock the cap - so thankful to Manuel and all his staff!

I bought two Nikon Z6 kits..just one of many purchases and transactions..they owed me 2 screen protectors..I kept asking and kept getting stories and the run around till finally I had to go purchase from a REAL camera store! Now I bought the new Lumix S1 one of the first to buy from them day after release and there is a big update out and free for those that bought..you need to get the update unlock from the dealer you purchased it from. Well guess what? Everyone I know got theirs and once again Arnaldo the owner and Dennis give me BS stories and I still havent gotten it. I am contacting Panasonic and filing a complaint with the BBB. I gave this store lots of business and would of given much more. Unbelievable! This store is disgusting!

I was looking for the Sony A7RIII all over the US and couldn’t find it anywhere. I called AVC after hearing about them on Facebook and found that they had the camera in stock.
