I ordered a battery online and scheduled a install at my local batteries plus. The employee checked me in and had me sign the paperwork then proceeded to go outside to my car to replace the car battery. Not one minute into opening the hood, he leaves and goes inside to take care of other walk in customers. It’s now been over 30 minutes and he is still inside with customers and has only removed a bracket from the battery terminal. This is my first and from this experience my last time using batteries plus. If you provide the option of installation at a certain time, that should be honored. Also there seems to be two employees in the store. This is completely unprofessional.

Service and repair options are comprehensive, very courteous and attentive staff. Selection is incredible, some items can be pricey. Purchased a small 357 battery for $5 and have since seen a 3-pack of the same for equal price at other retail stores.

I ordered online and paid for a size 27 marine battery to be picked up at the US1 location. When I get there, the attendant advises me that they dont have the battery at that store, but they have it at the North Miami store. Though the online store dropped the ball with my order, the attendant was quick to offer the next-up size 31 larger battery at the same price as the less expensive size 27, to which I agreed, provided it fit on the space inside the boat. I was offered that, if it did not fit, I could return it for the size 27, which would be waiting for me at the store if needed. Though there was a hiccup with the order, the effort to offer a solution makes my experience a positive one, so far.

I legitimately tried to be patient with these guys, but enough is enough. Yesterday I came to store requesting for a battery replacement for a iPhone. Long story short, the battery combusted and my sim card was fried. They gave me a loaner phone, and told me that Ill be receiving a replacement phone today. I called the store, and after being placed on hold for 30 minutes, they offered to call me back. I never received the call back. This was my first experience dealing with batteries plus, and will likely be my last. This is ridiculous.

Called in for some assistance, and was helped by Fernando. Overall great experience! Fernando went the extra mile to get me the correct information I was looking for and multiple options as well. Glad we were able to obtain all the equipment I was in need of. Will definitely reach out to Fernando going forward....real humble person!

I took my phone in to have the screen repaired and have the case changed. It worked fine and was fully functioning otherwise. The technician assured me they could make the repair and that I should not purchase a new phone.The repair cost me more than $200. When I got my phone back it no longer was able to get a signal and I could not use it. I went to Verizon, they informed me that the antenna was damaged when the phone was being repaired.I returned to Batteries and Bulbs and spoke with Nicholas Vega. He said he could not fix the phone and that he had done everything for me that he could and would not authorize a refund on the failed repair.I contacted the home office, they informed me that this is a franchise store. I contacted the store owner directly. He was supposed to contact me within 48 hours, but he never responded.I now have have to purchase a phone and I am out $200. Do not use this store for any phone repairs unless you want a lot of headaches, lost time and lost money.

Buy your car batteries elsewhere...car dealership and my personal mechanic ran checks and said my battery is bad, after my battery I got from them has to be charged every time I dont drive it for a few days...they say the battery is fine, and refuse to prorate it for me to get another battery from them. Poor customer service. Lost a longtime customer.

This store was very difficult to deal with. I attempted to return a battery immediately after purchase because they could not install it in a Prius. They refused because there was no manager present at the store. The next day, I went to another local store near where I was doing errands and they said only the store where it was originally purchased at could perform a refund. They called the original store and the manager refused to perform a refund because “they don’t refund batteries.” I understand how people might abuse a refund policy if they could bring back used batteries. However, this was an unused one, just one day after purchase and the only reason it wasn’t returned immediately was because of the store’s staffing issues. The return policy on the receipt clearly indicates that returns are allowed within 14 days for unused and resellable products. I then had to call corporate and I was told if I brought the battery in to the store they would perform a refund. After I arrived, they said they would only offer store credit because I could not prove it has never been in a car. They tested the charge and it was fine. The battery was in new condition. The store manager was very unreasonable and rude. Poor customer service!

Really bad customer service, and bad communication from employees to customer. I order a battery was supposed to arrive in 3 - 5 days and its been two weeks still waiting. I have to call the store in 3 occasions to find out status of the order and they always say well call you back w/ an update that never happens. Hopefully the store manager takes note of this and takes action. May be their employees are disatisfy with their job thats why the dont care about customer service at all.

I love the service the store offers!I brought in four computer battery backup units where the batteries had died and they just squeal like crazy when the power goes out.The technician helped me open them up find the right batteries adjust the plugs and get them all fired up!the best part is they recycle the batteries and then keeping the money in my community instead of just buying new ones and saving a good 20 or 30% off the cost of a brand new one!

Great service and nice people. Bought two agm batteries for my diesel pickup and they installed them for no charge. Install was not easy as they had to remove crossbars and a ton of cables to get to the batteries. Wish the engineer at GM had to change them so he could understand how difficult it was to service them.

Nikolas said my phone repair may be ready same day, as I had brought it in at 8 a.m. But if not, then Id have it for certain the next day. Next day, Friday, they not having informed me otherwise, when 4:30 rolls around I called them to say Im coming in to pick it up. Not ready. They couldnt manage the courtesy to inform me they werent meeting their own deadline. Furthermore, they cant get it done til some time Monday. I got there at 7:30 pm, a half hour before they close, and employee Sean said Nikolas left for the day, and that he is unavailable to explain whats going on. After politely asking Sean 3x, he finally calls Nikolas. I asked N if he thought a discount was reasonable, as what should be a 1-2 day job would now take 5. Nope. Theyre insisting on the full cost. Interestingly, I went in this very same store a couple weeks prior enquiring about the cost to replace the screen and they quoted me $65, which is $20 less than what theyre now charging me. Just so you know when you walk in this store, its a place where you as the customer are there to serve them, and not the other way around.Response to the owner: No Im not interested in contacting you further to help you fix your customer service problems, so please dont ask. I have a phone to get fixed and am taking it elsewhere.

I purchased 3 light bulbs in Miami lakes and came to return them here(with receipt 3 days later) They denied my return because they are a franchise. I tried giving the small guys a chance but this service is horrible.Dont waste your time, go to any big chain, easy return, better pricing, etc. Goodbye

I have bought car batteries from this store about 4 times in the past few years. I am 50 years old. I have NEVER in my life written a complaint like this. Hard to believe, I know.1) Incompetent store employees who are not interested in doing the job correctly2) Manager either unwilling or not empowered to treat customers fairlyI chose a battery w/ 2-year warranty online & paid by credit card for store pick-up. There was a 10% discount w/ online coupon, bringing the total to 139.63. I anticipated an $18 discount for core refund, which would bring the expected total to $121.63. I wrote in the pick up instructions that either I or my wife (I specified her name) would pick it up.My wife went to the store to pick up the battery and get the core refund. She told sean p she was picking up an order and gave him my name. Supposedly, according to store policy, the employee should have asked her for an ID and/or the credit card used for the purchase. He did not do this. The store employee took a battery off the shelf (as if he knew exactly which battery she was talking about, and this convinced her not to ask any more questions). He said that I had not paid for it... this was false. He then rang up a battery with 3-year warranty for a total of $162.10. My wife paid for it with the same credit card as the original online payment.When she got home, I installed the battery. That was two days ago, July 2. Yesterday, July 3, I checked my credit card statement and saw two charges from Batteries & Bulbs.Today, July 4, I called the store, I have both receipts. I gave them the order numbers. First they told me both batteries had already been picked up. Not by me, they havent. Then they said I would need to come to the store to process the refund in person.I drove to the store in person, its 15-20 minutes away. When I got there, Nicholas, the manager, told me he would refund the original order. But I did not order the more expensive battery, I did not want the more expensive battery, and I am ending up paying $40 more ($162 vs. $121).Nicholas said there is nothing he can do for me, that I received the same battery that I paid for. I asked if he would *at least* honor the 10% online discount, and apply that to the more expensive battery. He said he could not do that since the order was already rung up and paid for.My wife also called the store, after I left, and spoke with Nicholas, at which point he told her he does not feel responsible for his employees error.This is a dishonestly run store, and a poor resolution to a dispute. At this point, I could care less about the $40, I just would like to warn others away from this place.

DO NOT LEAVE ANY ITEM HERE TO BE FIXED!!! They destroyed an apple product I left to be fixed. First it took 2 weeks longer to be fixed and they totally destroyed it. You have to pay before they fix it so there is no comeback. You lose the product and the money! A double loss. Do not take any product here to be fixed. They will just totally rip you off and not care.

Located near the pet emergency room which was my intended destination.Brought in my old dead light bulbs and batteries and got the ones I needed right away. Cheerful and very helpful friendly staff. Its worth it to go here even though it may cost a little more trying to find the right bulbs, batteries. In a home depotIt is very frustrating, out of stock and little to no assistance available .Well worth it to get what you need here.

This is an incredible store with amazing employees. After having a terrible experience at the Dadeland Apple store, I called Batteries Plus Bulbs at 6400 S. Dixie Hwy and spoke to Felipe. He was very friendly and explained how they could help me with my 2 Apple 6 phones battery issues. The Apple store was trying to charge me for more than necessary. I drove over to Batteries Plus Bulbs and was helped by both Felipe and Sean. They were very customer service oriented, knowledgeable, and saved me lots of money on my battery and screen replacements. I can honestly say that these guys were amazing. Seriously the best customer service and prices. My repairs were done in less than an hour. I had a delayed shipment (not fault of B Plus B) and I was very upset and rude about it. Fernando remained very calm and explained the situation to me. He also made several calls to the delivery company and updates to me for several days. Everyone I dealt with at purchase and pickup was helpful and knowledgeable as well. This store has great service and good prices, when purchasing a battery. Unfortunately, when I went to return the battery (still under warranty) I was told that it would take 2 weeks to get a new one. As a customer, this is unacceptable; who can wait two weeks for another battery. Now I have to drive another store 45 mins away, because they supposedly have the battery in stock. Second evening after a long work day, that I will have to attempt resolving this issue. Not a happy customer right now.

They tried to collect more money when i returned the Battery core. Their customer service sucked bad. All they really wanted to do was to argue with me that i had to pay the fee they forgot when i bought the battery versus them eating the $1.50 fee.Unbelievable i know. Great customer service!I needed a battery for a Haier robotic vacuum cleaner. They didnt have it but they custom built it for me. When I got home, I found that the new battery was too large for the machine so I took it back to the store and they fix it at no cost.All guys in the store know well their jobs. Great price! But serious lack of communication between store and web sales. Make sure to call before showing up even if they send you an email saying its ready. I got an email that it was ready but luckily called and it was not the case. Had to wait a week for it to arrive. 5 stars are more for the price and the staff that was nice. If you have problems with your smart phone do not take it here!!!!! You will regret it! They absolutely ruined my brand new iPhone7, and didnt even bother to give me any compensation for it. I was charged the full price for a job horribly done on my iPhone screen replacement and on top of that they broke the front camera and sensor that was working perfectly when i brought it to them. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!

After doing business with them for over 4 years, today I felt totally disrespected as a customer and personally as well. Ive sent a employee to pick a order there and what I got, was the worst experience in years as a customer. Prices didnt match and total disregard for us as a customer. Definitely not wise on this amazon times.
