I found the service lacking- the very slow pace of being seated (the literal slow walk to the table), our table service, receiving the check... it led to an aggravated air in our party who was ready to leave while fingers and feet were tapping in anxiety. The app we ordered was the fried green tomatoes, well presented and tasted great. The chicken and waffles, once delivered to the correct table, we waited to eat until syrup was brought to the table. The caramelized bacon tasted like strips that just sat in syrup- very wet. Will likely not return.
This diner is right by the official Wynwood Walls so it was super easy to get from one to the other. We were seated promptly and the diner has a really nice aesthetic, very vintage feeling with lots of natural light. The Mac and cheese was good, a little too much cheese on top which I eventually had to peel off to eat the noodles underneath. The tomato bisque is excellent as is the grilled cheese. Id definitely come again.
Had a business lunch meeting but when I saw the menu I suddenly craved the eggs Benedict... and they didnt disappoint! They also have some really delicious healthy smoothies! Try the banana and strawberry when youre there on a hot day. Its really refreshing and tasty. For nice days theyve got a really cool outdoor area that looks like they have some fun parties at night. 💃I definitely like this place. 😁
Cool place to dine in. Retro hippy vibe really makes you feel at home. Amazing, (in the real sense of the word) staff, helpful, courteous, attentive. The menu is small but consistent. Little modern twist on the food. Cooking is delicious, the food looks appealing. Overall a great experience with the real spirit of wynwood.
Great place for lunch in Wynwood. Food was great! Had grilled cheese with tomato soup and a pesto panini. Delicious! Service was good as well. Staff was very friendly. Music was way too loud and was lowered after several customers complained. Drink prices are high - $12 for a glass of house wine! I would go back to eat but not to drink :)
Typical diner food but with a little twist. Awesome drinks and friendly waitress. We went once for breakfast and once for dinner. The breakfast was amazing as well as the dinner. Mimosas were delicious and like always love a place with craft beer on tapDuring dinner they never brought out my mac and cheese and truffle fries. Mistakes happen and the server and manager were very apologetic and have the drinks on the house.Couldnt ask for more. I will definitely be coming backAlso check the wynwood walls right across the street.
This is literally eye-shot of Wynwood walls. We ordered breakfast here and I have NEVER had a steak so tender. We got the steak and eggs and it was a perfect portion. The diner is definitely in a location that is easier to walk to than drive to. So be prepared to park a few blocks away and just walk and enjoy the scenery along the way.
We came here to nurse a hangover. It emerged to be an inspired choice.. ribs and fries were the order of the day, chased down with an incredibly healthy smoothie. If Id had longer I would have stayed for the beer but needed to make a dash for the airport! Great place to lurk after a visit to Wynwood Walls.
If you are hot from walking the streets of the wynwood walls then this is a nice spot to stop in for drinks and food. We sat outside where we had a nice sever who kept his distance but was always available and funny. The sangria was good but the mac & cheese was even better! We will definitely come again.I gave it a four star due to the outside area needing a sprucing up a bit. The chairs and pillows were torn up so we sat on the bar stools. Not a deal breaker.
This place was better than I expected. A little pricey for breakfast but I will come back. It does not feel like a diner at all. I love the decor(industrial), there is a bar, and outdoor seating. The food was really good. My niece took one bite of the churro waffles, smiled and gave me a thumbs up. My cousin had the chicken and waffles and loved it. Especially the candy bacon that they sprinkled on top. The brioche french toast was also good. The bourbon creme anglaise that it came with was very tasty as well. Our food took some time to come out but the place was very busy.
They are two for two with poor experiences. This time they didnt honor the happy hour as per the menu (see attached photo). The previous time a person in our party didnt get their food until everyone else was finished. Then the credit card machine had issues and literally took 30 min for them to figure out. Thumbs down. Wont be back
Amazing drinks poured at the bar by Aramis. Highly recommended for anyone looking for unique cocktails. Unfortunately, the air conditioning in the building was pretty much terrible. Hopefully management will resolve this complaint as it has impacted my desire to stay longer and experience the other offers such as dining & live DJ.
Great hospitality. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Feels like a place in Los Angeles I liked.
Used to be amazing. We’d drive from Fort Lauderdale to Wynwood just for their breakfast. Seems like got they got a new chef and now it’s definitely gone downhill. Pancakes don’t taste good at all. French toast tastes like a gallon of salt. Definitely not the same recipe. Totally different food. No longer recommend. Hope they go back to what it used to be one day. Till then I know we are staying away.
I have to come here every time I visit my second home - Miami. The diner is located in the center of the trendy Wynwood District. I love coming here and going straight to sit at the bar if there is a long wait. Their burgers are incredible with their own hot sauce! The decor is very trendy- good vibes. The servers are friendly too. Not only is their regular menu awesome, but their brunch s great as well!
Love the atmosphere of this place and have visited both times I’ve been to Miami. It feels open air, so the breeze feels great on a hot day. The food is good and prices are to be expected for a touristy area, but not outrageous. Loved the eggs benedict and the eclectic decor. Our table was a poker table!
Changed their entire menu. Used to have amazing food. Went to dinner the other day and was shocked. Options to choose from are very limited. We didn’t even stay to order food. Wynwood has plenty of other areas to check out. Bring back the old menu please!
I sat outside waiting for any waiter to come for nearly 30 minutes. Nearly every staff had a bad attitude. Not worth anyones time and on top of that when it comes to the food portion to price, you might as well go across the street for better options. 1/5 experience: I absolutely do not recommend.
Hot the spot! Original takes on classic dishes. Laid back but hip atmosphere on the coolest neighborhood in Miami (IMHO). I had a delicious fried green tomato panini but forget to snap a pic. Great service.
Great place to hang out in the back. I mostly go for the hookah in their backyard, which is owned by a different entity(Hookah Lab). Their drinks are alright, but great service and the food is not bad.
We came here for a late brunch and it was fantastic. The atmosphere is calm but fun. Our server Kelly was a gem. Gave us some great suggestions and went above and beyond for us and we were so appreciative. We are definitely coming back for food but also for Kelly.
The place is well decorated and nice ambience, but it’s insane that the A/C doesn’t work. They do not know when it’s going to be fixed, and it’s VERY VERY hot inside, it’s MIAMI. It’s unfair that their staff has to work under these conditions. Then, I asked for a beer and they brought me a HOT beer. UNBELIEVABLE!!! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
Very unique restaurant with three different atmosphere sections. Sandwiches were good and fair value. Waiter was uninterested in us, rather talk to staff or look at screen. Seemed to be everywhere else. Maybe he should be in some other line of work. The area is an art oasis and I could possibly go back to this diner to eat.
I went for drinks and the hookah. Both were great. The service was good and the atmosphere was nice and easy going for a Monday
The food was good but apparently its tapas style but they give you single plates. The food we got was good but overpriced. Cocktails were good.
I cant believe I didnt take a picture of my food from Wynwood, sorry world!! My grilled cheese was a memorable one, it was on a crusty thick cut fresh bread and it was so insanely packed with cheese & toppings it was like heaven in my mouth. It came with a little side of tomato basil soup to dip it in which was yummy and cute. We also got the mac and cheese which we were expecting to be meh, and ended up also being a wow of a meal. It was baked fresh, a good size, and very cheesy & flavorful like it was made with love. The place was very quiet because of all the hurricane commotion, but service was friendly enough & the price was actually surprisingly reasonable for the quality food we ate. We walked away very happy.
So much more than a diner. The food and drinks were exquisitely prepared. Cant wait to go back. I have recommended many times.
Heard a lot of different reviews on this place but was very pleased with my food. Food is not appetizer size it is a decent size meal (go in with time food does take a while) and well served. Don’t remember my waiters name but he made sure I could watch the game and suggested the ribs that was slamming.
After walking in and getting seated, no server or waiter working there took our order. The hostess took our order on a napkin and re assured us our order was coming out. Others around us who came in before and after us were seated and served quickly while we still sat there waiting.. a hour and a half later & after 2 cups of water (Thank You) we got up and left.. Good people, bad service.
The food and drinks are amazing. I told Chad something fruity and sweet with Titos and was not disappointed. The service needs improvement. This is my third visit and on two of those occasions, there was a problem in seating me.Give them a try. Again the food, drinks and atmosphere is awesome.
Air Conditioning has been broken the last 3 times I’ve been here and they’ve completely changed the menu to remove some of my favorite things. Cocktails arent great either. The waiters are the only saving grace here. Never coming back here again until they get new management.
Have specials on tables but just recently stop honoring specials...... Take the stickers off the table.... And dont fight with customers when they ask for listed special.... As a local I do not like there treatment of customers... Just want a quick buck off tourist... Go to Morgans..
Great food!! Totally didnt expect it to be this good. I got the Fat Boy burger and it was such good quality meat. My friend got the chicken and waffles and the chicken was so good I literally told the waiter it was better than my moms fried chicken. And to top it off the waiter was amazing!!! Go in and ask for Michael and you will not only have good food but great service!! Thumbs up for this place!!!
Very cute place. Great service from Allison. Food was a little pricy but good. Trendy little spot.
They refused to seat me because I was by myself and I couldn’t sit in a high chair because of a leg pain issue. It would have been one thing if there weren’t several empty tables available, but the hostess said my options were the bar, another high table, or I could leave. GFY Wynwood Diner.
Good food, great drinks, sexy bartenders, good DJ in one of the hottest spots in Miami. Its a young fun and attractive crowd. Its one of the best places to go to during Art Basel. Looking forward to see who did will pick to expose this year.
Fun place with a great patio and good music. The selection of bottles craft beers is good and there are some solid choices on draft too. The turkey club was our favorite. The sandwiches are very filling and the salads are healthy and fresh.
Very nice place!I’m so happy bcs the start serving hookah outside on patio ! The have outstanding quality of hookah, charcoal, tobacco and service! Suggesting for real hookah lovers!
Food and atmosphere was great more than I was expecting.. the server was very friendly and helpful when I was trying to make a decision on my food ... I had A good time with my boyfriend, I was looking to have some cocktails and light dinner and I had a good time here... I will definitely come back .. don’t know the servers name but she had a smile face tattoo in her elbow very nice and friendly thanks
We went for breakfast. The food is mediocre at best. I was pretty disappointed. Potatoes were cold. Omelette was way too salty. The terrace is nice and the atmosphere too. Just wished they had good food.
We were here for Saturday brunch and were very positively impressed. Great food (even the sides, which I am never fully satisfied with)! Also, cool atmosphere, efficient and courteous staff and... great music!
The only good thing was the service. The food took way to long. The full rack of ribs was tough, BBQ only on one side. Steak was not cooked the way I wanted. It was hot in the inside the restaurant. If you have to use their toilet paper, don’t it’s less than one ply, wasn’t sure it was even possible. No wet toilets to clean your hands after trying to eat one rib. Way over priced even for Miami, and I’m a local 40 year local. Stay away much better places out there.
The food was delicious, but the service absolutely SUCKS! From the manager all the way to the hostess. My waiter took my order and he never returned back to our table, he didnt refill our drinks, he didnt even ask if we were okay. We had to ask other servers and food runners to assist us. We didnt see our waiter until it was time for us to pay the bill. I informed the manager about the waiter, but he didnt seem to care.
Despite Wynwood being very busy do to an art event, we were seated and waited on in great timing! They have a free Pac Man arcade in the front which my son and I enjoyed. The food was great and not too expensive. The decor and lighting was very nice.
Amazing servers! Good music! The drinks are a little overpriced but really high quality. As well as the drinks the food makes you lick your fingers after a long night.
The diner is nice, theres a wide selection of food, BUT what really makes it a great experience is the staff. Amanda was our waitress and she was amazing! By far the best waitress Ive had here!
I found the food to be quite yummy, however it was also very rich. Order something to share if possible. The menu is eclectic. The decor is cozy and inviting. The vibe is a bit geared toward a youthful crowd. Loud music, etc.I recommend trying it if given the chance. 🙂
