They never answer the phone for starters. Once we arrived the staff was friendly and nice but this place is an absolute scam you pay JUST to get your pictures taken. If you actually want the pictures you have to pay over $100 extra. Don’t waste your money!

We went to a ring ordering event at a local hotel. They had 6 manned tables to order from in a small room. No seating for the people ordering the ring. My disabled mother had to stand with her walker throughout. The whole process felt rushed. The person assisting us could not answer even the simplest questions about the ring options and contradicted the actual ordering form multiple times. We chose to go to an event and not just fill out the form and send it in in hopes of getting personalized service. We purchased an expensive piece of jewelry from someone who knew nothing about the company or the ring options/process. I have had better service at McDonalds. If I had to do it over again I would have gone to a jeweler or even a mall jewelry store where surely we would have had better customer service.

For your child or children graduation rings this is the best and only place to shop. Lots of choices to choose from. Staff knows their job, I’ve been going to Herff Jones for my kids class rings. Now am shopping their for my first grandson class ring. Their rings are life time warranty no problem in getting their rings clean or fix for any scratches that happen over the years. Can’t wait to see my grandson’s ring did I mention affordable prices.👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

I had the photographer Sam, and he was excellent. He was very patient and made the whole picture taking process comfortable and enjoyable. I had a great time with Sam and he allowed me to retake the pics until I was happy with them. He was very into the small details which I appreciated. The results of my pictures made me very happy and Im so glad I was able to get such an amazing photographer.

I had an amazing day experience with my photographer Sam. He let me retake the pictures and gave me so many different options for poses. Everyone that’s a part of the staff was super sweet and helpful with everything. Loved it!

Absolutely great service from Karla and Maria. They helped me set up an appointment for my blind dogs photoshoot! I would HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone who values good photos and excellent customer service!!!!

My teens won’t be able to walk in their graduation because Herrf Jones refuses to answer the phone or voice mails but they demand you go by appointment only to get the cap and gown, obviously an appointment you can’t make unless somebody would answer the phone . I have been calling them every day for a week and they just don’t care to answer knowing that it is graduation season . I do not recommend this business to anybody, they are not professional and this is not the way any business should guide themselves. Herrf Jones incompetence crushesthe dreams of graduating teenagers.

I won’t be able to pay off my daughters junior ring by the deadline due to my job situation during the pandemic. She thought her school would have a later distribution date due to covid, however the date was unexpectedly announced to be next week. I went on their site and noticed there’s a policy about rings only being refundable after 72 hours and having to pay an $100 fee to cancel it later than that. However, I do not have the funding to even pay for the ring; so how would we be able to pay another $100 just to not receive it? Very inconsiderate.

It says in Google that the store is open, however, they never answer the phone during their business hours. I have been calling to know if my ring is ready (which I ordered 2 months ago), and they havent even returned my calls.

Not only are The photos are extremely over priced but I ordered an $80 tassel Frame. I received the order and the tassel frame comes without the tassel. How does an item with tassel in the description come without the tassel. When I called I was told that I would have to purchase separately and place myself with a piece of scotch tape. An $80 Frame with the tassel taped in myself that was not included with the purchase. I find this absolutely ridiculous. The frame looks really cheap also. It looks the same as the frame that is $20 in party city. Never Again. I would advise anyone not to waste your money getting anything framed. I agree with a lot of the other comments that you could definitely get cheaper photography elsewhere that is better quality.

It was a far distance in travel for us but we were satisfied with their customer service. Im big on treating people right and being nice. The staff informed me on everything I needed to know so that my son is happy with his graduation pictures

What an amazing time my daughter had while getting her senior pictures. My daughter has autism, therefore I accompanied her during the session. The entire team at HJ Miami from the start to the finish were professional, gracious, understanding, and KIND!!! Thank you for a remarkable day!

Too expensive. I have to download my photos in good quality and pay 300 dollars. Honestly very disappointed with how they run their business and the fact that their are so many fees for absolutely no reason. I recommend just going to a cheaper photographer because the services/quality they offer are just the same. I regret my decision and I am frankly disappointed with how things turned out. :|

Im really not happy, I didnt like the photos of my daughter at all, very sad because I paid a very high amount of money and Im not happy with the result! It seems to me that they only told her to smile but she looks like a mannequin with a frozen sobriety ... What a shame!

My daughter’s ring was the wrong size. We took it in for a resizing. The shop closed naturally due to COVID as most places. The issue is they ever called to tell me please come pick up your ring. They never called once they opened up and the ring was there. Once they opened we went back for her ring still sized incorrectly. No apologies just sending it back rush order 2 to 3 weeks. There is no rush available so another 4 to 6 weeks. My daughter has not worn her ring since the ring ceremony. I’m okay with mistakes and errors as we are all human but their lack of customer service is unacceptable and unprofessional.

Horrible customer service.... Ive been calling for weeks and NO ONE picks up the phones. My kids just graduated and i didnt get the pictures because no picks up....

My son was happy with the set of taken pictures for the 2021/2022 Prom. Myself not much because of the price and the far location from home.

Poses offered did not fit daughters personality at all, made her uncomfortable and unfortunately because of covid19 they didnt let me go in with her for her shoot. Normally I understand but if I had known we would just not have scheduled senior pics as she dosent really care for them, no main online about parents sitting in thier car as a heads up. Like I said not her personality anyway...

Picture quality is terrible, the service was terrible, they do not fix you or position you comfortably. The place is nice but the pictures aren’t.

I did not go through 4 years of high school to graduate and be informed that Herff Jones Miami LOST my Superintendents Diploma of Distinction along with other students dipolmas. This is careless and unacceptable. Not only was I not able to graduate in person due to COVID-19, but I will not be receiving a diploma thanks to Herff Jones carelessness and lack of accountability. I expect my diploma to be replaced. Very disappointing and irresponsible.

In Miami, it is very difficult to find vendors/businesses with excellent customer service and operational efficiency. At HJMiami, they have found the formula. My son had his high school portraits taken at the studio and it was the most pleasant experience. Not only do they provide outstanding service, but they run a well oiled machine. Despite many of the staff members being young adults, their level of respect for the customer and their work ethic was top notch. Keep up the great work Uly and staff.

THE WORST COMPANY WHICH I HAVE HAD COMMERCIAL RELATIONSHIP. They are not clear in offering the services, and they are extremely expensive. More convenient to hire your own photographer and for the price they will end up charging you for 5 photos, You can make a whole album. We paid Five 5x3 photos, it cost us $ 270.00.

First time to this place...Took my granddaughter for some senor foto.Parking space is difficult,little space.Service per what my granddaughter said was very nice.

Cramped crowded poor air conditioning! it was hot and humid. This was the official photographer for high school yearbook pictures. The people were nice... but it was like a gym room. People were changing and it was filled with lots of high school students. If only theair conditioning actually worked and this was on a rainy day!

Im very disappointed in the service this company gives. I had an appintment today for my daughters senior pics. The appointment was for 3:30 and we arrived on time. We waited 2 1/2 hours to be called in. Once we went in the photographers had terrible attitudes, as if they were mad and miserable, to the point of bringing down my daughters spirits. (Which is terrible since this is a fun, happy time) we decided to not let this bother us and try to get through it. Another 2 hours to have the photo session completed, which is strange because they rush You once your inside. So in conclusion, we checked in at 3:30 and left at almost 8 pm. I might have picked a bad day or they are just a mess. If you have a choice, i would not recommend these people. They dont make this experience enjoyable for these Seniors which is sad for the prices they charge.But...giving credit where it is deserved, the pics were nice, not worth the stress but thank goodness we got through it. Good luck people.

Herff Jones Miami continues to redefine the customer service experience and keeps raising it to levels that exceed all possible expectations. For over 30 years I have been a client and watched HJ Miami grow, from their humble office off of US1 to their current location with its expanded photo studios. Rings, photography, caps and gowns, and spirit items... they do it all and always with the student and school in mind. Their staff is well-trained, courteous and knowledgeable. From a school site perspective, they go above and beyond to help schools and Activities Directors have successful events including graduations and ring ceremonies. They are a phone call away when assistance is needed. Their new photo studios were meticulously planned to provide efficient service in an enthusiastic environment. I look forward to continue working with HJ Miami as my current school designs its first ever class rings and am excited for our first graduation. I know that HJ Miami and its outstanding staff will be there to help us every step of the way.

I recently took my senior pictures there and I must say this place was not what I expected. Me and my mom arrived there at 10:30 for our appointment and we ended up having to wait almost 2 hours to get called by the photographers. Everyone there is very unorganized, they dont know how to properly deal with the public or how to work under pressure, and I wont even mention the prices because they are ridiculously high. Now my session was so much fun. The photographers I got were so funny and they were very easy to read. They looked for backgrounds and props that would go best with my hair and my outfits and they tried to make me happy and comfortable with the shoot. It was one hour and 30 minutes and it was so much fun it was over before I realized.

It was amazing they help you immediately once you step through the door their nice and very detailed with your pictures they help you feel beautiful ❤️.

We have been working with Herff Jones Miami for over 10 years (since I was in high school myself) and now that my niece is in high school, they still have the best staff and customer service! They are friendly and very helpful, especially the blonde lady that works there. We are very happy with the senior pictures!

Scam. Expensive and unclear. I paid 75 dollars to have my daughters photos taken, however the online purchasing aspect is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous. I solemn give low reviews but such services are beyond me- having to pay almost 300 dollars to just have a high resolution digital download of my photos is preposterous. Especially since there is no mention of this hidden second payment beforehand either. Beware of herff jones and just find another service, youll be better off that way.

My son and i came to this place Saturday Sep 2. We had a bite of a problem but Ashley Bright was a BIG HELP. She made sure we where ok she even came inside this studio with us to keep my son in a good mood. When i go back for my ring i hope she is there. I dont know if she is a manager or what but she is great. Thank you Ashley for everything.

I placed an order to purchase a class ring as a gift for my fiancé. I called multiple times to ensure the ring would be available before graduation. I was advised that it would be mailed to my house before graduation. Somewhere along the way, that information got mixed up and I was told the ring was in town but being sent to the university for a ring ceremony that I did not sign up for. I was told not to worry, that the ring would be available the day of graduation (if I did not pick it up at the ring ceremony). With all of the phone calls I had made, I felt confident that the ring would be at graduation. It was not. Instead, I was almost given 4 other rings because they ‘should be mine’ since my order was supposed to be there. I was very disappointed because this is an expensive purchase that was overseen. I was unable to give him his gift for graduation, which was a bummer, but they delivered the ring to my house the following day. It worked out, but was extremely inconvenient and frustrating. *note, this was not the only hiccup I had with HJ. When I ordered my ring a few years ago, it was delivered to my neighbors house and left on the front porch. No signature. Nothing. I coincidentally grabbed their mail for them since they were out of town and my $800+ ring was among my neighbor’s mail. Their products are great but the delivery of the products needs work.

Where do I start? HJ Miami has been a great blessing to us. They have always come through for us. They are always willing to meet our needs, whether its always being prepared and early to set up on our school picture days, or taking pictures for our school sports and other school events, or photo shoots at their studio, or simply helping us get our many events scheduled. Their photographers are friendly and responsible. Ive had photographers call me to make sure they get the right pictures for us, or go out of their way to call me to make sure they have the right location. Because of this, we have always gotten the pictures we need. In plain words, they care. I love working with HJ Miami. Uly Lopez, our rep, is excellent; he answers my phone calls and texts quickly, and helps resolve any issues immediately. I am grateful for the entire team, especially Barbara Lawless, who not only takes many of our pictures, but also teaches a photography class to my yearbook staff every year. My students love her and always look forward to learning from her. Im also grateful for their photo editing team, who help us with many issues throughout the year. For me, HJ Miami is not just a photo studio; it is a place I can trust with our precious memories and definitely consider many of their team members my friends.

This review is for EVELIO! Not the company! My spouse graduated in 2004 but lost his class ring a few years ago at the beach. I decided for our upcoming anniversary, I would replace it. Wow! What a mission that has became. For weeks Ive been transferred around, given a factory # to call and talked to soo many ppl who just didnt want to take the time to assist a customer, do thier job, call back or make this company some money! Finally, the ONLY person who went above and beyond was EVELIO! The factory # for days had the we are closed pls call back during normal business hrs, which EVERY day that I was calling was normal business hrs. I tried morning, mid-day, late afternoon and etc. EVELIO while on the call with me, took the time & tried to call them and ran into the same issue. He took my info down and called me the next day with his ring info! I asked if he could email it to me along with a quote, and he did! I even replied back to him asking him to give me a new quote with a few changes, and he did it! When I am ready to purchase it, I will make sure EVELIO is the one to do it and I really hope this company compensates for sales or commission. I was overly frustrated and aggravated w this company until EVELIO assisted me. I even made sure to ask for his supervisor so I can give him a great recommendation!!! He did a great job, went above and beyond, extremely polite, helpful and Im grateful after weeks of trying to get this done, EVELIO answered the phone!

It is with pain and regret to write this review about Herff Jones. Both of my daughters, one former 2017 graduate and my 2018 graduate had two completely different experiences. Im am utterly heart broken with my 2018 graduate daughters experience today. We had a photographer who made my daughter highly uncomfortable. Im am speechless that Herff Jones permits not only a rude, distasteful unprofessional man to work with teenagers but spoke horrors of a former photographer who doesnt even work there anymore. Our photographer was not connecting with my daughter. We asked for another photographer and it seemed she was more in a rush to get us out of there as opposed to making my daughter feel welcoming after what just happened. In addition, I explained as long as my daughter has a memorable experience I understood additional fees would be added for extra poses. However, yet again miscommunication no additional poses because were closing and we have too many poses. Will never return and will never reccomend to any parent this place. No money in the world is worth what this place did. My daughters come first and I am very proud of their achievements. I have one daughter off to Florida State University and the other an AP scholar at Mast Academy and I will never suggest a parent nor wish upon anyone what my daughter and I went through today. I dont care that I paid $800 but it was the worst money ever spent and I am heart broken and my daughters face saids it all.

My experiences was negative and I am really disappointed . I had an appointment but still had to wait around 45 minutes. The photographers are high school kids with no experience. They dont pose you at all, they dont fix your hair. They dont work with you to help get a perfect picture. The prices are expensive for the quality of work. I paid $75 just to take the photos and it will cost a few hundred more of you actually want copies. Not worth it!

After reading all of these reviews, I was not sure what to expect. So I visit the Doral office crossing my fingers to get a nice representative. (fyi: Miami is not really the best place for customer service, BTW) When I got there, the store was empty on Monday afternoon, hint hint... Vivian came to the counter to assist me. She was smiling, polite and patient. She answered all of my questions and concerns. Please dont always go by these reviews. Go and experience it yourself. THANK YOU VIVIAN for a pleasant visit. Looking forward to take my daughters picture there.

This is the most inconvenient location. Its, super crowded, and these people try to nickle and dime you every which way. If there were coffee for the parents that they are squeezing the money out of, I might feel better about being here but there isnt and Im feeling salty. The young ladies that helped check us in were nice. I didnt like the attempt to upsell me and elicit more money out of me other than the initial photo deposit. Another positive, they were showing a movie while we waited. The inconvenient location and the automatic attempt to upsell me and the overcrowding warrant 2 stars.

Terrible customer service!! Took my son for his senior portraits. Paid the $30 sitting fee. Then they demanded I pay a $20 deposit to view my pictures online. I refused as I had not placed an order yet. The deposit, by the way, is waived if you do not order your photos within 30 days. What a scam!! I know several moms who must have lost the deposit. Since I did not pay, I cannot view my sons pictures on line (even though the word PROOF is stamped on it). Poor business practices!

AVOID THIS PLACE IF AT ALL POSSIBLEI had to order my sons ring late (just over three weeks prior to the ceremony) because he was hospitalized when Herff Jones came to the school regarding junior class rings. I tried to call the company representative no less than three times, and never received a call back. I finally went into the store in Doral in mid January with my son to select the ring. I was promised that they would place a rush order (which was a lie); that the ring may get there in time (which it didnt); and if the ring did not arrive on time, there would be a some sort of replacement band or substitute ring (which you will find out was also a lie). I paid the ring off in one payment.I called a couple of days before the ceremony which was scheduled in the second week of February. The Herff Jones representative stated that the ring would arrive in mid March; that I could pick it up then and that a substitute ring would be provided at the ceremony so my son would at least have something to put on his finger.On the day of the ceremony, not only did they not have the the ring, they didnt have a substitute ring or band, and my son wasnt provided with any of the trinkets that they passed out. Im convinced that he wasnt even on the ring list.Thus, I approached the Herff Jones Representative, who proceeded to place the blame on me for ordering late. I accept my part in the blame for that. However, he refused to offer any remedy to the situation and was uncouth and rude on top of it all. Towards the end, the Representative from Herff Jones advised that to make up for this situation, he would try to have the ring finished earlier and have it delivered to us, promising to call me the following day to provide me with the details.Update on 2/26/17. The Herff Jones Representative personally delivered the class ring to my office on 2/26/17. Better late (15 days to be exact) than never I guess; and it does not make up for the disappointment on the day of the ring ceremony; but at least my son finally got his ring.I caution each and every one of you considering purchasing a class ring for your child to find somewhere else besides Herff Jones. I would take it to a vote to your PTA / PTSA today, to go with someone else as their customer service is reprehensible. And if you for some unfortunate reason have to order the ring late, might as well accept the fact that there is a good chance that your child will not have a ring the day of the ceremony.

ABSOLUTE WORST EXPIERENCE OF MY LIFE. The biggest scam. I paid 60 dollars, which went towards a 20 dollars deposit fee (apparently can be used towards the final printout of your photos if you actually decide to buy them however 20 dollars isnt making a difference when just one photo the size of a sheet of paper is 55 dollars plus a ridiuclous shipping fee of 15 dollars) 20 dollars for the photographer and then 20 dollars that goes towards your same day proofs which again, youre paying 20 dollars for two sheets of paper that you can barely see the photos on. The prices are RIDICULOUS absolutely ridiculous ! You could hire the best photographer for a custom photoshoot for cheaper than the 299 dollar fee for JUST THE ONLINE DOWNLOADS. This company is a big fat scam that is taking advantage of a special occasion in your childs life. Save your money and hire your own photographer. Absolutely crazy how sad it is I wanted to buy 2 photos from the photoshoot just for memories and its close to 200 dollars for photos that were rushed to be taken in 15 minutes.

I do not recommend this place HORRABLE service not only are the rings overpriced for there quality but the person who helped my daughter in school put the wrong ring color and also a rainbow stone which my daughter didnt ask for. Mr Evelio and Jeorge the manager were no help at all they wanted me to pay an extra $150.00 for a change in the ring plis a new ring they asked me to look at copy of the paper and you can hardly see anything and they wouldnt show me the original when i went in person .They were no help at all everything was about money. My daughter is 17 she she knows what she ordered . For my son I will look for another place and advise friends and family to do the same .
