First time there, they’re very helpful and knowledgeable. I spoke to Leanne, she helped me a lot, refreshingly honest. Would highly recommend this company.Great experience. I will use again.
I had brought in a 1hp for rebuild and they told me that it was irreparable. Instead of selling me a 1hp pump, they sold me a 3/4hp pump because my application didnt require a 1hp pump. Not even a month later, this brand new pump from them springs a leak from the input shaft seal. When I asked about the warranty covering it, they said that it wouldnt cover it because the pump ran hot. Although it is common sense that a pump with less power is going to require more energy to achieve the same goal, they still said the warranty is void. I now have a $240 paperweight and have to cough up an additional $320 for the pump I should have been sold to begin with. Its sad that the mom and pops shops are resorting to shady practices and not honoring expressed warranties. Instead of giving business to these smaller places, Im just going to have to return to corporate enterprises that wont sell you junk and then kick you out of the door.Dade pump, dont sell people items that you know arent going to work. Its a terrible business model to follow and it will only provide profit for so long. If you had simply sold me the same pump I needed repaired or would have at least honored your warranty, you could have saved the situation. Its morally wrong to steal from your customers.****John,Allow me to educate you on fluid dynamics since you seem to think that I ran the pump dry. Although the impeller will only move X amount of fluid, we must look at the energy used to move X amount of fluid. If you have a lower powered motor, it will have to work much harder to meet the flow requirements. Where as if you have a higher powered motor, less energy needs to be exerted to move the same amount of fluid. Therefore, if a pump is having to work harder to move the same amount of fluid it will generate additional heat. That is why pumps are up-rated with a lower rated impeller....to increase the longevity of the pump itself by not stressing it as much. So, by using a smaller scaled pump it would increase the amount of work....which makes it run hotter. By the time parasitic drag is introduced, it is similar to a 1/2 pump pushing a 3/4 hp impeller. That is why they stage the pump and impeller. Its not rocket science. The pump was never starved, it was an inferior product that was sold and youre not honoring the warranty. You or your staff have not even made a lame attempt at striving to do whats right by your customer. As a small business owner myself, I take my experience with your facility as an example of what NOT to do for customer service and I apologize for anyone else that has had a bad experience with your facility. Small businesses should be supported, but sometimes you just have to go to a big box retailer apparently. Your product lasted just over a month and you didnt even bother to slightly make the situation better.
They never disappoint. Clean, polite helpful staff . Always an amazing job repairing pumps
What a pleasure dealing with Dade Pump and Supply. I brought in my pool pump with what I thought was just a bad capacitor. The people at Dad Pump and Supply tested my capacitor and told me it was fine. Mike in the service department was nice enough to come out and explain to me that the best thing to do was to bring the pump in and he would find the problem. They never asked for a deposit and inspected and replaced what needed to be replaced for a small labor charge. Very grateful for the service and especially Mike.
Good service. Patient. Thorough.
My previous review for this place was an error I was talking about another place im so sorryNow to the real review for Dade pumpThis place is the best their service is above and beyond you could expect from any business in south Florida I recommend this place 100% they are fair and honest with their work and will save you tons of cash.
Been buying sprinkler pumps here for years. This weekend, my pool pump went out. Took it to DP fully expecting to drop off and a few hundred dollar repair. Tech put it on the bench, tested the capacitor, swapped it, and I was out in 10 minutes and only $25!#customerforlife
Working pools I visit a bit, and have to say its just a great place . Employees are really nice, the 2 that usually help me are Leann and Mike, they know their job well and are very knowledgeable. I would high recommend to anyone.
These folks are absolutely amazing and understanding Joeys plumbing repairs
Another one of my clients and are very helpful.
My sprinkler pump was in stock and the staff was professional. I was in and out in 5 minutes.
These people will be able to answer all your questions and tell you where to go if they can help you, been doing business with them for over 40 years
Awesome service - friendly & knowledgeable! My Hayward pool pump froze up & I went to see Mike @ De Ruiter for replacement motor. Mike had my replacement motor in stock & (SURPRISE) theyre also an authorized Hayward dealer. No need for a trip to a pool supply store. Mike evaluated the entire assembly & saved me $$$ by telling me which parts were still usable. He assembled my new pump and the old/new parts for me. All I had to do was reinstall the pump & electricity. Love the new 2.25 HP pump & my pool looks great again ;-) ** HIGHLY RECOMMEND **
Always informative and positive.
Understandable why they have been in business for over 70 years. Excellent quality workmanship & nice people!
Good work they know what they are doing.
Had my pump “rebuilt” here and it leaked water out of the bottom of the pump badly. I had to pay someone else to fix their work. I went back them and they did not accept any responsibility. I highly recommend not to have work done here.
The customer service is very bad, no respect to the customer.Shame on them
In the time it took me to have an ice cream cone at the DQ next door they had my new pool motor and pump ready to go. They also gave me a quick demonstration on how to install it. I calculated that it would have cost me about double what I paid to have the motor and pump repaired at a pool store. I cant recommend it more highly. The only problem is a name on the store is De Riuters. Not Dade pump. If you are looking for Dade Pump on the sign youll never find it.
Very trustworthy and knowledgeable they have repaird multiple pumps for me and helped me spec verious applications with the correct equipment.
Great place, this is where the pros go
