Really enjoyed this store. It is hard to even find a store in south Florida that sells model trains and accessories. The staff is friendly and extremely knowledgeable of their trade. Worth the hour drive and we will return in the future.

I have been around the world, NUMEROUS times. So trust me when I say; the shop..has the BIGGEST most complete selection of all things model railroad!! From N Scale premade scenic buildings, to O Scale working street lights and track cleaning/ setting tools.I will be returning here as often as I can. Despite the damage it does to my wallet lol

For a retail store, their prices are extremely competitive and many times less than what you find even online. They have a huge selection of O, HO, and N scale model trains and an unbelievably massive selection of detail parts for all scales. They specialize in trains that you find locally to Florida. They have Rolling Stock and locomotives for CSX, FEC, and Tri-Rail, which are hard to find anywhere else. They have a huge selection of Intermodal trains and accessories. They carry both older and modern era Rolling Stock and locomotives. They even have a section for pre-owned merchandise.

One of the only surviving train stores down here in South Florida. This is my go to train store as I have bought pretty much all my accessories for my layout, they have everything. From N scale to O scale and from tracks to building kits. 3 functioning layouts in the Establishment. The owner Bill is a great guy and will help you find what ever you need. Even though it’s a far drive from Northern Broward well worth the visit for any model railroad enthusiasts.

I really like the vast selection of accessories for the H.O. Scale train models. The neighborhood looks somewhat spooky but hey thats Miami 4 U. They have everything you need here so dont be discouraged about the looks.

I have been a model train enthusiast virtually all of my life. Whenever I travel the country I seek out model train stores. Without question Ready to Roll is one of the best if not the very best. The owners are friendly, knowledgeable and always willing to assist . They make buying new catalog items easy. Their prices are great and they are always well stocked with accessories. They provide excellent service on both newer items as well as post war Lionel. So to borrow a line from a bad TV commercial, why would I buy from anyone else.

What I order at RTR, they can get it for me! Great!😊. Also very good service. Im ordering for some years at RTR American steam locomotives (especially UP and PRR steamers and some diesels from BLI and MTH) and I have to say that the locos and diesels (with sound, DC, HO scale,) are much better and have more detailling then the European locos. Here in Holland, Europe, those locos are very expensive :-( . Im very happy with RTR (and Bill) and I will continuing order (steam)locomotives at RTR! :-). For fans of model trains it is a paradise. His place is not easy to find but it is worth visiting. The store is not fancy but the assortment is impressive. Nobody helps you with your purchase but they are available to help you if you request it. You must have plenty of time as there is a lot to see. Almost everything that is required for this hobby is there. The owners are veterans in the field.Whenever I travel to Miami I cannot stop visiting them.You may find lower prices online, but looking and comparing between products is priceless.

It is an extraordinary place, the attention is excellent. Bill is a very good person, he takes the time to explain everything to you, he has everything very ordered by areas and scales. It is the paradise of trains, I found items that are already discontinued and spare parts and accessories for my machines. The best store I have ever been to.

Every time I am in Florida I visit it, the attention is good, I agree with other comments the area and the outside of the store have nothing to do with what they will find inside.
