Great store, great staff with excellent customer service and knowledge of their business.
Really bad shopping experience and dont recommend anyone to buy here (low inventory, bad attention, and very rude employees). Go to the Miami Gardens location- staff is way more friendly and actually want to help.
Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Good prices too!
Store is well stocked with everything you need for snow, only drawback is the prices. Went in looked for basic gloves that can handle snow minimum 50$ which is crazy. Checked out some thermal undershirts and they’re 90$ for a regular long sleeve shirt. Expect to spend big money for stuff you can easily find on amazon. Best idea is to go try stuff on and just order it online it’s way cheaper.
Peter Glenn owners please watch out with your staff. I’ve spent nearly an hour with my wife and daughters. No service at all. Disrespectful sales woman. Lady at the counter no kind either. You sell good quality and expensive items, service should be awesome. Nobody helping us to find the right gear after an hour in the store. But take special attention to both ladies mentioned, they don’t seem to like their job. Won’t come back again, bad experience, sorry. By the way do not post winter sale discounts in your website because you staff didn’t even know about them today
Best place in Miami for your ski /snowboard shopping. Very knowledgeable staff. A wide selection from the best brands. Alex provides an amazing customer service
For someone that does most of his shopping on-line, Peter-Glenn was a change of venue for me. I needed to get my daughters equipped for our upcoming ski trip and Peter-Glenn was just the thing I needed.Richard who helped us seemed to be knowledgeable and happy to help. He walked me through several options and was very patient with my 2 little monsters :) trying on stuff and constantly changing their minds. The selection P.G has, although not extraordinary, is wide enough to find various products at various price-points. From luxury to mundane, they had everything I was looking for and more.
Had an issue with my initial order, but Kinya contacted me to make it right. They offered even more in return than what I would have ever asked for and were very accommodating about getting everything corrected beyond my satisfaction. Very happy with their customer service and support!
Best place for winter clothes.
Justin was AMAZING when we came in for rollerblades! Patient, helpful, and knowledgeable. Glad we came. 😊
This place holds a monopoly on its market, and its not afraid to show it. The selection is rather limited, the prices are high (higher than many ski resorts) and the staff is less than enthusiastic. I bought 3 things from the display (i.e. opened and tried on) and asked for a discount and all they said was no. If you dont want it we can just sell it to someone else for full price. Literally every other store Ive been too offers some discount on display items. I will not be going back. I can only recommend this place if you dont have time to wait for shipping and youre going to a remote mountain without a ski shop near by; and that is only because this is the only place around. For all other cases, buy online or buy at the mountain. Youll save money and have better selection.
I am going to write this review as to exactly what I experienced. I give the 3 stars only because the store was nice, neat and appeared to have a lot of apparel for colder climates - otherwise I would have given it 1. My experience was really not a good one.I arrived here about 10:30 am (having read that the store opens at 10am), and the sign on the door clearly said it opened at 10am. The door was locked and I waited a couple minutes before knocking on it. The woman came to the door and she seemed annoyed. She told me they didnt open until 11am, but she did open the door. I said, well, your sign right here says 10 - and I pointed to it. I was looking at the sign, and it clearly had 10am. Im no rocket scientist, but I know the difference between a 10 and an 11. She argued with me a bit, and kept saying 11 and told me the sign said 11 (Ill reiterate, I was LOOKING at a 10am). Then she stepped outside the door and clearly saw a 10 as the opening time. She mumbled that the sign was changed. Oh, ok (a simple sorry bout that would have been a better response). That set the tone for my visit to the store.I roamed around a bit. I was looking for a pair of Merrell shoes, The shoes were limited and I only saw 1 or 2 Merrells (dont bother coming here if youre looking for Merrell). I roamed around some more, when the woman called out to a kid working there to help me. He was SUPER nice and went to find the Merrells in my size. He came out and said there were no Merrells, except that one I picked up from the shelf and it wasnt in my size. Bummer. I then asked about a Vionic, and he brought me my size, but it was not what I wanted.I left this store and wont ever go in it again. I was the only person in the store, yet was pretty-much ignored until the kid helped me (and I did appreciate his help). I was thinking to myself, how could this store possibly stay in business? That all being said, the store did seem well-stocked and was clean and was a big space; the appearance was very nice. The only thing I was looking for was shoes, and the shoes they have seem limited - or maybe just more for thick snow. I was looking for a lightweight hiking shoe and was surprised they didnt stock more Merrells.I wont be back here because there would be no need for me to ever go again. If you do go, be aware that it is upstairs. You go in a glass door, take an elevator up, and they are on the 2nd floor. If you dont know that, you may wonder where it is - its very close to the Pet Supermarket. Parking is plentiful in the front of the store; its in a nice strip mall between Best Buy, Pet Supermarket, I-Hop, and some other stores.
Expensive. Prices are outrageous because they mark up items 3-4x as much as you can get any other place or online. They are one of the few large stores that sells ski gear in miami so they take full advantage of that.
We dont have many ski stores in Miami but Peter Glenn is an amazing place. Good prices and great service.
This is the only place in town to pick up ski gear which is great but the prices are astronomical and no plus sizes.
Best place to buy your gear for winter vacations
Good deals during the sales. Most of the time everything is to expensive. $$$
I got a ski suit here. Good quality
Great selection knowledgeable staff very friendly
Unique store for winter sports, has been around for a long time.
Pro clothes for snow sports but pricy... excesive
Gestión service. One of the managers, help us a lot to get us the skis and boots that we wanted
They have everything you need for snow sports/vacation but expensive, very expensive. Plan your trip with enough time so you can purchase your winter gear cheaper online, and only visit this place as a last option.
