A-1 superior bike repair service! I had a rear wheel spoke break while riding yesterday. Took my bike in repair today and was expecting the repair to take a few days. They said no problem and it would be ready the same day. About four hours later I got a phone call to say the repair was done. Now I am back on the bike trails again with no lost time. I will definitely go back for any future repairs.

Excellent service! After my usual bike shop was out of what I needed I called here and they set tires aside for me and then took the time to show me how to replace the tube and tires and were just great people! Thanks for the help with a difficult tire!! :)

Great experience! Knowledgeable and helpful staff. Assembled and serviced my new hybrid bike as if I had purchased in their store. As a result, I have since purchased additional accessories from them. I could have purchased those items for less on amazon, but made the sacrifice to support this quality local business. I had a great experience buying two used hybrid bikes. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, and Sandy was great about answering all my questions and had the perfect bikes for us. They got us all set up and ready to ride. A total pleasure to stop in their store!

Very helpful! My son and I are trying to restore my Grandfathers old Schwinn. They put us on the right track and helped us get what we needed. Even had the correct bike seat to replace ours that was in rough shape in the back. I dont usually write reviews but the great people at Whitmans deserve it. Highly reccomend!

This place is amazing! I needed new spin shoes and the owner Rick John was great! Very helpful and had a lot of information to share! Worked with me to find the right fit! They were busy, but they still took the time to help me and answer any questions! If you need anything for biking they have it and will help you with your needs!

Real nice and friendly shop, however I would avoid this place when it comes to maintenance. Brought my wheels in for a truing and when I got them back my rear tire would not fit on my frame correctly. Took it back and the owner kind of jammed it into place and when I got back home I realized the tire was misaligned even more than when I brought it to the store originally. I took it to another bike shop which they found not only were both wheels not trued, but the rear tire was not dished correctly. So like I said, nice owner and staff, but for maintenance/repairs I would take your bike somewhere elseEdit: 1-27-21. So to add to my original comment. Before I got my tires trued at this shop, I had them replace a spoke that had broken. Well come to find out, they installed the spoke incorrectly as well. Changed stars from 3 to 2. This is just unacceptable for a bike shop in my opinion.

Family owned by a local legendary cycling family, the Whitmans.Sandy greeted me with all the 💕.

I was out for a ride and my seat post broke. I came in and Rick helped me. He scavenged a part for me and charged me hardly anything. He could have sold me a much more expensive solution and I would not have been able to question it. I am from out of town visiting. If I lived in the area I would definitely return to this shop. Exceptionally caring customer service; reasonable prices, good inventory. Great location. When I picked up my bike from repair, I rode it home on the bike trail right behind the shop, with no trouble with the bike at all. Beforehand, the rear brakes did not work at all.

Poor service. Wanted a mirror and bell put on my bike. Easy to install yes, but I wanted it done professionally . He was just about to put it on when another customer came in, saying they were wanting to buy a bike, and the guy asked if I could come back in 10 minutes, go get yourself something to drink, coffee or something while he deals with this guy.Also, this is not the first time for poor service. Shop is crowded with merchandise. Understaffed. Owner likes to talk instead of trying to help the next person. Generally talks down to you.

Great service at a fair price. Took my Schwinn Admiral in with a bent rim, the owner was able to get both rims nice and straight for the price quoted over the phone. I will be back and will recommend others.

I had a tremendous client experience at the Bike Way Bike shop. It is located downtown Miamisburg, quaint street full of local shops. It is a delight working with people that A. Know their product well. B. Love serving the client. The owner and Sandy were patient at explaining what I needed to know to buy a great bike, that could last years and still look great. We took the bike for a ride and absolutely LOVE it. We boutght a high quality bike at a very fair price.In addition they perform bike repairs. I brought in a bike that needed maintenance and repair. They were honest about what part of the bike really needed repair and nothing more. They did not try to sell me repair that was not needed. I look forward to continuing to do business with this shop. I hope for others to also experience similar experiences, who are planning to make a sizeable expenditures. I stopped by last summer to try and find a headset for my old road bike. I told the owner what my research had taught me and asked him to check if it was correct. He told me In all my years of working on old bikes, theres only one type of headset. I showed him the Sheldon Brown webpage on headset sizes and he told that it was completely wrong. I didnt want to argue with him, so I asked if he could remove the fork and measure the headset with a caliper (the only way to know the proper size, as tolerances are very tight and need to be exactly right) and he said that he didnt have a caliper to measure; he just eyeballed stuff. The one redeeming point of the shop was that he offered to refund me and reinstall my old headset if the replacement didnt fit. I didnt take him up on the offer. I stopped by my local shop (I rode 40 miles to The Bike Way Bike Shop because of the positive reviews) and they found the right headset for me. Lo and behold, it was completely non-standard. I would have ruined my bike if I had let this shop replace it.

The owner helped me pick out a bike that I abosolutly love. Its bye far the most comfortable bike i have ever been on. It was hard to stop on my first ride. I will definitely be using the bike a lot. Highly recomend buying from the bikeway shop they have bikes for every level of rider. I will never buy a bike from a department store again.

Sold my son the wrong bike, then wouldn’t give him a refund. Shame on you. Beware of your purchase at this establishment.

Awesome bike shop, worth the time to visit and the owner is awesome. Purchased my sons first real bmx bike here and couldnt have been happier.

This bike shop is horrible! There isnt a single item of quality in the shop. If your looking for something equivalent to Dicks Sporting Goods, then this is your place. The shop doesnt have any high end road bikes, they dont carry quality components or apparel and the prices are outrageous. My advice is to shop on Amazon and you will get a WAY better deal.
