Enjoyed a wonderful brunch at elé Cake Co. Bistro & Wine Bar @ Austin Landing. Some may remember them as Taste of Elegance. The staff were friendly and our server was very attentive. I had the loaded shrimp & grits bowl and french toast. I will say that the shrimp and grits bowl was mouth-watering. The french toast was flavorful. The food presentation was also stunning. I definitely will be going back.
We got an array or cupcakes and treats. It was good but not my style. I like creams comparable to creme brulee and custards, made with egg yolks.The eclair filling and cupcake fillings/frosting reminded me of twinkies, they were super sweet. Twinkies arent my flavor. The eclair chocolate was excellent. My kids however loved the cupcakes The sugar cookie was very soft, but I like cookies with butter better than margarine. Everything had a beautiful presentation.I would be interested in trying their brunch sometime.
Have eaten here many times over the past few years. I always like to support local restaurants.Quality and service in this restaurant has deteriorated to a point where I don’t believe it deserves the strong rating displayed on Google.In our most recent experience, my wife and I both ordered the same salmon dinner, requesting that it be prepared medium well to well done. When the meals were served, my own meal was properly prepared, but my wife’s salmon was raw. After waiting 10 minutes or so for the waitress to check in on us, I re-entered the restaurant from their patio, searched out the waitress, and politely asked her to have the salmon prepared as requested. My wife’s meal was served approximately 30 minutes after being taken back to the kitchen. I had finished my meal 10 to 15 minutes prior to her meal being re-served..25% was taken off our bill, but that hardly made up for the inconvenience. And, by the way, this occurred while the restaurant was about 25% full, at 4:30 on a Wednesday evening.In addition, understand I am not a complainer. This is the first negative Google review I have ever given in my life.
This place is absolutely awesome!!! We had 130 people staying at Austin Landing for a wedding and we wanted to host a welcome party. Dwaine, Sonia and their entire team made it happen! Our guests continue to rave about the atmosphere, the amazing appetizers and service that they provided. We were stressed about hosting such an event before a big wedding and they completely took care of it. Cant begin to thank them enough!!!! Also bought the wedding cake which was beautiful from here too and the party trays for breakfast while getting ready!! Absolutely incredible!!!
Absolutely amazing food and service. Dwayne, our server, was an absolute pro. Very attentive and upbeat. My wife and I got the poutine for the appetizer and it was literally one of the best things Ive ever eaten in my life. Chef Samantha Trick is doing amazing things and I look forward to going back and trying new dishes. 5 stars for sure.
My friends and I had reservations for dinner on the patio last night for our monthly girls night out. Our food was delicious and the service was great. If that was all I was reviewing I would give more stars. There were 6 of us and we had just finished our meal and we were enjoying the live music when the manager came to our table and asked us if we were ready to leave because he needed our table. This was incredibly rude and inexcusable. We spent over $250 on our meals and drinks and were enjoying our night. We were there a little over an hour and a half. What made it even worse is as we were leaving we noticed that there were plenty of available tables inside. This had been one of our favorite places to go, however we will not be returning!! When we spoke to the manager before leaving he was even more rude. If you want to eat at a place and not feel like you are being rushed dont eat at this establishment!
We love the ambiance at Ele. The food and drinks are awesome, well presented and the Wednesday and Thursday entertainment presented by Gill is really exceptional.
Wonderful experience! The customer service was beyond amazing and the food was great! They were booked but made way for us to eat without a reservation! There was not one person there that was short of amazing!! I will definitely be back! I loved the French toast of the day as well as the mimosas!! I will be back with my brunch club!! What a wonderful experience to start off Father’s Day!!
What an amazing experience! We just recently discovered this gem tucked away in Austin Landing! From the staff to the incredible food this was a truly wonderful experience!! We ate here last night for the first time & it was so great that we decided to come back for Father’s Day brunch! We had the great pleasure of meeting Chef Sammy, sous chef Joe and Sonya last night and Dustin was just an absolutely fabulous server!! Today was just even better than last night! Sonya greeted us after we sat at our table and then we had the pleasure of being served by Dustin and Dwayne. The food again was so delicious! We couldn’t decide on what to order so we ordered too much! It will not go to waste! “Box please!!” This was sincerely welcome me of the best restaurant experiences we have had in a long time! Kudos to this terrific staff…Dustin, Adrian, Dwayne, chef Sammy, Chef Joe, and bubbly Sonya!! You definitely need to try this for yourself!! 💚🤍❤️
Met up with my girl friends for brunch at Another Broken Egg but we were not waiting an hour and half. We walked around and chose to check out the menu at Elé Cake company Bistro and Cafe. Immediately, they were welcoming and accommodating and Caitlan was WONDERFUL!!! The food was absolutely amazing and mimosas on 10!!! We have found our new breakfast stop and already can’t wait to come back!!!!! 10/10 would recommend

Loved our experience with breakfast at elé! It was amazing. I got the sliders sampler and the sausage with jam on brioche was amazing. Honestly I couldve eaten 100 of those. My husband got the Brunch Flatbread and it was on point! Highly recommend both. We both got Iced Mochas (my favorite coffee drink) and they were delicious! They were perfectly sweet with coffee and a hint of chocolate. Check out my picture below!During this COVID season we chose patio seating it made us more comfortable and staff was socially distance and respectful in following guidelines.I would highly recommend this place. We cannot wait to go back! I plan on trying the French toast next time!

My girlfriends and I had girls night tonight at ele bistro and wine bar the service was great the food was awesome but the manager after spending $250 asked us if we would be leaving soon, he had two people sitting outside that wantef a outside table I lave never been treated this way at any restaurant I have ever been to we were only there for an hour and a half so its not like we spent all night at the table so I would advise any of you that want to have a good time with friends and not have to worry about beating the clock to never go to this establishment.
My Husband and I just ate at ele Bistro for Father’s Day and The Manage was hands down the Most polite and energetic Man. He Greeted us with a Smile and we Were sat right away. We sat at the Bar and Dustin was the Best Bartender/server . He was polite and very on top of things knowing today would be a busy day with all the Father’s Day guests. Our food came out quickly and it was delicious. The Perfect was to start Father’s Day with my Husband. We will be back soon.
Attended for the first time on 9/17/2021 @7:30pm for birthday celebration.Waited 10 minutes after food runner brought waters to have our drink order taken by the Bistro Manager, Sonya. We then waited 15 more minutes to have Sonya take our food order and provide our drinks. Manager did not return to ask if we wanted refills on water or additional drinks. It seemed like everyone for themselves.The food was great and tasted wonderful, but the culture and atmosphere emitted by staff seemed uninterested, miserable, and exhausted. (To be expected when every business is short staffed.) Throughout our entire meal, a food runner brought everything to the table while the manager casually walked by as asked how everything was without stopping. Food runner was told Thank you by the table multiple times where we received no acknowledgement. Not even a Youre welcome or Not a problem.The issues were brought to the other male managers attention with explicit detail as to the intention on bringing our commentary to their attention. Sonya was no where around so we had to ask a busser to grab someone for us. It was expressed that we wanted nothing removed from the bill, we wanted our bill switched over to the food runner to tip her, were not trying to demean anyone, and wanted the insight taken to heart. We also stated that the food and drinks were great. That ultimately management sets the precedent and pace for the team. That management should exemplify the behaviors and skills they expect from their staff. Finally, that if we are perceiving the staff as miserable, uninterested, and exhausted - there is a problem that needs addressed.This manager expressed that they had a $5,000 party that everyone was taking care of and that his staff makes plenty of money. They wouldnt complain. He also stated that he would grab any one of them, and they would tell us that. He even went as far as to bring over an iPad with a picture of 6 staff making faces together as the background to validate his viewpoint. It was expressed to him that his opinion of lots of money is relative to him alone and does not speak for the actual viewpoints his staff may have nor does that translate in the culture/atmosphere we experienced for the first time.The manager continued to be dismissive and wave his hand as the table stating that we were wrong. It was stated that we were recommended to the restaurant by a guest currently in the restaurant and he told us to point them out. When we refused - he stated youre scared and told me that I had met my match. We stated that this was unprofessional and that he clearly lacked skill in conflict resolution and in having culpability for the experience. That it starts from the top and translates down to what we were experiencing. That pointing out another guest over our complaint was unacceptable and unnecessary.The male manager left after we stated we were done with the conversation and Sonya came back over to us. We expressed that we wanted the bill and expected to have a professional conversation without the drama. She went on to state that the girl we wanted to switch the bill over to was a food runner that was ____ years old, looked miserable because she was new, and that she was busy because of a $5,000 party. I expressly let her know that revealing personal details about staff/staff who are minors is illegal as it violates an employees rights to privacy. She chuckled and gaffed off the statement.I have never seen such unprofessional behavior from management and this clearly speaks for what our table felt from the staff. The GM or owner of the company should take control over these individuals and explain to them what the mission statement of the company is and re-set expectation as to how that mission is delivered to, not only staff, but guests as well. I also suggest that HR get involved.
All of the staff is very friendly and hospitable. The food is delicious. Worth the wait if they are busy. I promise!
Found this place on accident and Oh my goodness! Fam, you have got to try it out!! Food was amazing, the mimosas around the world were soo good, service was top notch, and atmosphere was vibing! Thanks to our lovely waitress, Caitlin and her great manager for the welcoming arms and fantastic brunch ♥️
The food was so good, I wish I remembered to take photos. From the other customer said Dustin makes a great Bloody Mary, Ill have to order one of these next visit. We really make the trip here for the cakes, moist, tastes, and the best icing!
One of my favorite places to eat. I almost always get their scallops. One friend had steak and one had chicken. Oh! And the presentation is as outstanding as the food!
Meh, small portions, ho hum presentation and not particularly inspiring flavors. The halibut special fish of the day needed more than just zucchini noodles and the fish was overcooked a bit .... and the scallops my wife had were delicate if flavor but the sauce was overpowering. Could have been a lot better
Is this bruch or purgatory?The restaurant was not even half full but we were stuck there for over 2 hours. Food was great, but at what cost? I lost some of my most fertile years waiting for a check and it NEVER CAME. We eventually just approached the bar to pay so we could finally leave (and this is not one of those restaurants where you pay at the front, they are supposed to bring the check). 15-20 minutes before we saw a server, another hour waiting for food, and then sat there waiting for the check for what felt like millennia. Arrival time: 12:45, departure time: 3:00pm. Again, this restaurant was not busy and it was over staffed. Employees were everywhere. We walked in hopeful and young and left old and weathered.

Absolutely the worst service I have ever encountered at a restaurant. We made reservations 4 days ago for a party of 10. Arrived on time were seated 10 minutes after our reservations. The waitress seemed confused and definitely not prepared for a large table. After waiting for ten more minutes we were asked about drinks. One person in our party asked if we could order our meals after waiting for drinks for another 15 minutes. Our waitress rarely stopped by the table we even asked for water 2 times before receiving.At 70 minutes after arriving I asked a manager when our food would arrive. We had a small child in our party that ordered kids PB&J. Really?? Her mother even requested at the time we placed our meal order to bring the child meal out as soon as possible.The manager arrived another 5-7 minutes later with the child’s PB&J and informed us that the kitchen was behind due to a party of 50. Any well managed restaurant that had advanced reservations and a party of 50 around the same time would be better staffed up and prepared accordingly?Why weren’t we informed when being seated that the kitchen was running over one hour behind due to a large party? Another table of two near us left aggravated by the slow service.Our table received our food 90 minutes after arriving one hour after food order placed and again that was because we asked to order NOT because our waitress was doing her job.The manager offered us a 25% discount for the long wait which was appreciated. Reason for 2 stars instead of one. Consensus from our party of 9 adults, 1 child the food was ok definitely not worth an over 2 hour brunch experience. Would not venture there again and owners need to evaluate the staff running the bistro.

First time at Ele for brunch. The food was excellent and the service from Adrien could not have been better. it was our friends birthday and she could not have been happier!
They were crowded and slow. Scrambled eggs were way overdone. We usually have a great meal here, but this was not.
Went to ele for the first time for a birthday cake and other goodies. The bakery/bistro is cute and has a nice ambiance to it. However, I was not impressed with the bakery items. Everything tasted like it was made from a box. I asked the worker behind the counter what ingredients were used in the cakes and she couldn’t answer, from there I knew everything offered may be mass produced or made somewhere else and transported. If you’ve never had pastries from a bakery that makes their menu items from scratch then you’d love the pastries here. I’m spoiled though and could bake a better cake and brownies as a kid.

We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Elé! It was the first time our family got together in a long time and the staff could not have been more accommodating for a party of 22. I got the walleye and it was a-mazing! Adrian our server was knowledgeable of the menu, especially regarding my nephew’s nut allergy and he not shaken by so many guests. Ask for him! I will be back often. Thank you Dwayne for making space for our gang.
We had the pleasure of going here to celebrate Mothers Day with our mother. This was the best experience. The food was great, the atmosphere was perfect and the service was tops. Dwayne we have taken you in as a part of our family!!!! The Johnson crew will be back!

Ordered a cake as shown on website (obviously yellow). Picked up and it was lime green. Customer service terrible- stated that the cake on their site was lime green. See photos. Would not recommend if you actually care about how your cake turns out 🤷♀️. Had high hopes as I was a first time customer but even reaching out to customer service and basically being told I’m color blind, can’t see ordering again.

Great food (personally loved the Chorizo Biscuits and Gravy), strong mimosas (everyone’s favorite) and great espresso!! D’wayne (manager) and our server (Erin) made sure we had a great time. I brought my daughters friends here for her surprise 18th birthday party. Duane was great to work with and the food came out as soon as we got there. The ambiance and service was wonderful and the food was delicious! We all enjoyed ourselves and would recommend it to anyone for any occasion.

I came for brunch and loved the service, the food, and mmmm mmm the mamosas. Faith was our server and what a sweetheart. Dwayne swung by to check in. The only complaint is I wish they had decaf but omg the shrimp grits were to die for and the strawberry cake was a necessary indulgence. I can run to starbucks later.
I dont know their secret, but they have some of the best cupcakes in the area! We frequented them whenever I need a sweet pick me up!Id had a rough day and my dear hubby drove me to the Austin Landing location and got me my favorite- White Chocolate Raspberry filled Colossal cupcake, and he got a Carrot Cake one. It takes us at minimum 2 days to eat them, and the container keeps them just as moist as the day you bought them.
Food was great. We ate on the patio, which has a great view.

Ele Cake was wonderful. We had a luncheon for my future daughter in law there. The food was exceptional, the staff were very accommodating and Dawayne and Andrew get special mentions because they were so attentive to our party.

Parking is bad, dining room is small, waited 45 minutes for our food and food was not hot. Potato’s were over seasoned with an obnoxious amount of rosemary and food was just not great.
Sat us in right away, drinks were great, and food was amazing.
Went for a date. Able to make reservations for patio in advance. Service was INCREDIBLE. Followed all recommendations from server, Adrian (sp?), on wine, appetizer, and entree. Blown away!! Even great vegetarian options. Total trust fall & it was all spectacular. Whole experience was kinda magical. Highly recommend!
Pricey but well prepared and presented food. Service is very good. I have been here twice For lunch and will go again. I look forward to trying dinner sometime. They have a great selection of wine.
This used to be our go to place for celebration dinners or a nice date night out. We loved the atmosphere, food, signature cocktails and staff. The last two times we went, our food was lukewarm, and completely under seasoned. We received poor service and even the lighting was too bright. Though the cocktails were still good, I would not recommend going due to the horribly bright lights and ruined atmosphere. We noticed there were less people eating every time we went, and now we understand why. Sadly, we do not plan on returning either.
My daughters and I hosted a bridal shower at ele for my sons fiance. The food was delicious and plentiful. Dawayne, the manager, was accommodating and so easy to work with, and our server, Andrew, was exceptional. I would definitely recommend ele!

I just want to say I think Ele is one of my favorite dining places. Great atmosphere, never a long wait and good service. But the menu is spectacular. Not your average fair, every plate is a flavor adventure. The chef (Sandy I think?), is a genius in the kitchen. I love Sunday brunch and casual dinners. Five well deserved stars!!!!!

My family and I love elé cake co. and are very frequent customers but I do have to say that this particular location does not have great service from what I’ve experienced. The people at the Beavercreek location are wonderful and very helpful, while the young girl at this location who has helped me the past several times has been very rude and very un-helpful. I gave her the benefit of the doubt the first time because everyone has a bad day but the other times thereafter have been shown to be the same service. It truly makes me want to avoid this location from here out which is a shame because it’s the closest to our new home.
Great food (I had the shrimp and grits, which were phenomenal. Husband said fish tacos were a bit bland). Better wine. Excellent service and waiters to help pair wines with food. They have a variety of less expensive wines and more expensive, so something for anyone! We loved the wine flights.Only disappointment was the cupcakes. The cake was super moist. The flavors and variety were great! The frosting however was too heavily applied and EXTREMELY sweet. The buttercream tasted more like a traditional icing instead of a buttercream, though it did have the buttercream texture.Would recommend for food and wine.
Amazing food, I was really blown away by the flavors. Comfortable environment and friendly staff. Its rare to see anyone attempt poutine let alone do it this well. I look forward to going back
The store/restaurant and the location its very nice. The wait staff is very good. The only downside, in my opinion its a little expensive but what they offer.
This place is AMAZING! Great Service, great atmosphere, Truly fresh quality food. I didn’t know it was possible to get fresh amazing fish in Dayton. My Halibut entree from the restaurant week featured menu was life changing! I literally went back the next day to get two to go!
Sitting here STILL waiting for the food on a Saturday morning with only 2 other tables occupied in the dining room.I am hoping the food is good, but VERY DISAPPOINTING so far. Service is terrible and have seen only one food service. Even waitress keeps avoiding us or asking if we need coffee refilled.Did I mention we’ve been here over 40 minutes???I’m giving one star now with the hopes the food is good, otherwise would rate a “zero.”Spend your time and money somewhere else.

My family and I have always bought elé cakes for birthdays, graduations and other life celebrations. Obviously I was going to pick them for my wedding cake. They did not disappoint! Cake was awesome and fresh! I would highly. recommend.

This is one of those places I hate writing a great review of because I dont want a lot of people to find out about it. However, this place is excellent with some of the best service around. Its feels like fine dining but its not an arm and a leg pricing. The intimate atmosphere is both romantic and family friendly. It has some of the best outdoor seating that makes you feel like youre really somewhere special.

Service always excellent. I have had many birthday lunches/ early dinners here. The shrimp n grits are outstanding and the short ribs as well. The drinks are top notch Never have been rushed and the desserts are off-the-chart scrumptious.
Rudest girl working behind the counter and had to walk out with no cake for my daughter’s bday because there was no change for my $100. Will never be back
