This place has a great selection of antiques no matter what you are looking for.
Just took my 2 grand daughters there. They just loved it!! One actually found a ring my other grand daughter found a necklace. The gentlemen at the counter were very nice as well. They want to go back.
Always one of my favorite antique stores. This place is HUGE too. I always find something to go home with. Also, the staff are so so kind. I love them.
Definitely worth the stop. Lots of selection and most vendors have reasonable prices. We were even able to stroll through with our dog.
Great place. Reasonable to pricey. But they can give a 10% discount.
Looking for a specific item, a decorative ginger jar. Seen a few but none that would work for me.
I have been with my wife for 13 years and she is from MC. I have been past the antique mall a thousand times and finally just recently went and it was the most organized antique shop I have ever been in. The staff walk around and take your things to the counter for your later purchase and the atmosphere was super welcoming and nice..
Just been in to this place. We walked in my husband greeting the lady who was stood inside the store. He is a happy person and joked if they had anything old. She said everything is old in an awful tone and said nothing is new then just walked off. She didn’t even say hello. Outside the sign says be kind. With her attitude it made us feel so unwelcome, my husband still wanted to browse so we did. I saw a few things I liked but was not prepared to buy as we felt so unwelcomed.
It was really interesting to see all the collectives they have will be returning
Stayed at hotel nearby. Was excited to visit an antique store. This was a big bunch of mostly junk or items that are three times the price of the market value. Weird workers. Just a bad experience. Plenty of other antique places around that don’t gauge.
Must stop! I went past for years and missed out on a bunch of good finds Im sure.
Very cool, rare, & interesting items at a reasonable price. Always something different next time you come. Owner is a fabulous lady with a heart of gold
Lots of things to be found very large space with tons of vendors
Great place to see. A bit pricey for me though
Always worth a stop if youre in the area.
Great selection of items, if you have the time, you should stop by.
I enjoy walking through and looking at all the antiques! Lots to look at!
A great place to get lost, wonderment abounds! My son and I loved it, super helpful as well!
Way over priced. We left, didn’t see anything we really wanted that we wanted to pay three time the worth of the item. And I’m a HUGE antique shopper. Won’t be returning.
They always have something special. Always!
Great selection, and very well organized. Prices were a bit be steep, but then again antiques are only worth what someone is willing to pay for them. It is the nicest, cleanest, well kept antique store we have ever seen.
Great prices and super friendly.
Love all the beautiful things in here, most everything is a bit out of my price range though.
I found ammonites there!! I was very pleased.
A lot more stuff than expected. Employees seemed nice.
Very nice place. Almost like a time warp when you step in there.
This place is highly rated, with good reason. It is stocked to the ceiling with pretty much any old artifact you could be seeking. The variety is impressive, the pricing is mostly pretty affordable. Most stalls are laid out well but there is so much stuff everywhere its a bit overwhelming. You could not possibly see everything all in one visit. The bathroom was clean and tidy. The biggest complaint we had was being discreetly followed around by staff the entire time. Oh sure, they try to look nonchalant as they shoot surreptitious glances your way, but its pretty obvious and just not very inviting or welcoming. Do that many people that visit antique shops really steal from them?? Seems like it wouldnt be that demographic but maybe so... still, it is disconcerting to be made to feel like a suspected thief. There are already cameras everywhere so is all this stalking really necessary?
Wonderful shop that’ll have you shopping around for hours! I had a great experience on my last visit thanks to the young girl with tattoos! She helped me all throughout my time at the Antique Market. She answered all of my questions and was nice throughout our whole ordeal. Will definitely be back again!
Awesome place to find interesting items.
Terrible! Asked for help to retrieve an item locked behind a cabinet and the employee was really rude and not helpful. Been shopping here for over 5 years, never again.
Nice selection of antiques and collectibles!!!
Beautiful items and helpful staff. So many childhood memories brought back to life!
Lots of stuff but overpriced mostly
Clean place with a friendly staff. Always like to stop here when we are in town.
Eclectic collection of odds and ends.
Great variety of things from modern day to vintage and antique. Well laid out facility which is clean, neat and friendly. Would recommend to anyone and its a great place to spend time when the weather is not conducive to outdoor activities.
Always a great place to find cool stuff.
LOTS of high end antiques, very clean restrooms and the mall itself is clean, staff is friendly. Stuff is very pricey though too and no booths had any sales, some items been there so long you could barely read the price tags. That should be a sign to the dealer they are asking too much and if they dont want to lower it then bring in something else, because this tags dont fade that bad in a couple months.
This place is well worth checking out if you into antiques and other great items.
Safe and clean and nice prices!
Always a nice afternoon of browsing. We go there often.
Highly recommend for very old furniture
Lots of stuff to see and buy! Prices were reasonable and they have a wide selection of things to look at.
A lot to look at and no one followed you around making sure you didnt steal anything.
Love to browse around this place. Great memories!
Not a huge fan. They had some nice items, but 2008 prices. The antique market has unfortunately dropped in the last 10-15 years.
To much to see in one day and its excitement just looking for rare vintage stuff.....
Great selection of unique pieces! Perfect for gift giving or for finding a great home accent.
Stuff is way too over priced. Staff is very nice at least
One of the nicest selections Ive seen in a long time
Nice antique mall but dont expect a discount if you dont use cash or check. Which few people carry these days. Rather than sell an item with a credit card or debit card discount, theyll pass on the sale. Arent they in business to sell things? Kinda counterproductive right? And Ive been an antique dealer since 1966. I had found a beautiful cast iron toy truck in case 11 for $125.00 but they would NOT discount for card useage. Only cash or check. Other antique stores will. Your loss.
It was nice and different. Had fun with the family.
I am a huge antique hunter! I love them! I was in town to visit the beach from Indianapolis. This place is at least double retail price on just about everything I saw. They do have a large space, and lots to see, but more like a museum, nothing to buy!Instead go to the smaller place behind the antique market called Nani’s Over the Fence Antiques. It’s so cute and nice reasonably priced items. Turns out that it got its name because the bigger store put up a huge fence in front of their property when they opened up to try to keep people from seeing it.In general, people who love antiques have a love for the past, when people were kind to each other. Actions like building a wall in front of a new little shop just makes me mad! So skip the big overpriced guy and go see Lori at Nani’s.
Quality tiems, nice mall
The employees here are so helpful. My son has been collecting vintage toys and asked them for a specific item. These ladies searched the system and shelfs for his item. Then they took our name if his collectible ever crosses their path. Now thats great service!
Very friendly staff, with tons of inventory!
Super cool very large market
A bit pricey.
Nice antique mall.
Very cool. Not crazy packed, but decently sized farmers market. Booth had really cool food/items. Prices were fantastic compared to other national farmers markets. It is a market you could actually do shopping at, not just pick up some organic kale.
Lots of interesting antiques and a clean store.
Organized antique store. Numerous booths of furniture, dishes, silverware, vintage clothing, jewelry, toys, record albums and much more. It is one of my favorite antique stores on the area!
Love this place. To see the whole place you need to have a couple hours free. There are some reasonable prices in some booths, you just have to take your time and enjoy the hunt. The staff are very helpful.
A surprising find just off the interstate .. good selection in this large, multi-vendor antique market. Items reasonably priced for the most part and pleasant to wander through. It was open on Sunday when I visited and the size of the market is larger than it appears.
High quality items. Some are more than you would pay elsewhere, but the vendors are well-chosen and the variety is wide.
Theres some great variety here. Plenty of clothes for anyone looking for special occasion vintage but a lot of home goods, tools, taxidermy etc. Well organized & friendly staff. Some of the prices are pretty high but Id visit again.
Large selection of antiques and collectibles focusing mainly on a lot of Smalls but mixing in some furniture as well prices are a bit higher than the local area, but thats because its so close to Chicago, a lot of tourists come down for cheaper prices. They usually have lots of 10 and 20% off sales. Easy parking easy access friendly helpers and extremely clean
Unlike some antique markets, this one had a good variety of items. Everything was displayed in nice, clean booths. There was plenty of help to assist you. We found some items that we had been looking for a while. And for an extra bonus, it was located right by Culvers.
First time there was vary pricey
A must stop when in Michigan City....my wife simply will not let me drive by without stopping in and I cant say I disagree with her.
Large variety of antiques a little over priced on somethings but a nice mall
Great place to shop for vintage goods. There are over 140 venders offering everything from stuffed animals to army swords.
So much to see! Lots and lots of booths. Great place to treasure hunt
You can literally spend hours in this place!
Spacious with huge selection of antiques. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Nice sitting area with TV to keep the kids occupied while we shopped.
If you travel the I 94 from Chicago, Michigan City, Michigan to Chicago, this is the place for you. Always something new. The staff was very helpful.
This place is ok but is too high priced but the staff are very friendly and helpful
More flea market than antiques with packaged toys, cars, and games. Very few true antiques. Hopefully it will improve the longer it is opened.
Lots of different vendors, with eclectic tastes. There is plenty of selection. The issue I have with the place is that most of the vendors are clearly targeting the Chicago tourist market with their pricing. Everything seems to be about 15 - 20% more than what a local would charge another local, and significantly more than what you would get your same item for at a garage sale or similar.Thats not actually the stores fault though, as the individual vendors set their own prices.
Flashback to the Past nice place
Very nice place they have a little bit of everything in there !
Nice antique mall. Clean, not musty smelling like so many others. Large number of booths, good quality and assortment.
Beautiful mall if you like it left in the country always a great selection
Nice place !!
Actually, I was at the quaint little shop over the fence behind the big Mall and it was awesome, be sure to check out Nannis Over the Fence Antiques
Great place with lots of antiques and collectibles!
Friendly staff and clean. Well organized.
ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED WITH EXPERIENCE HERE TODAY WITH WEEKEND MANAGER! HER BEHAVIOR WAS A DISGRACE!My husband and I USED TO (that stops today) frequent this antiques mall a lot - and spend money here a lot. Yesterday we spent over $150. Today we spent over $350. When we were in yesterday, I saw an item I wanted, but it had a hold tag on it - noting it was on hold until close at 5:00 today. Since we were back in the area after antique shopping in LaPorte today - we live over an hour away in Michigan - we stopped in the late afternoon. I bought a vintage television as a surprise for my husband. And the item Id seen was still in the mall - and it was near 4:00.I asked about it at the desk, and come to find out, the person it was on hold for was a friend of the weekend manager. So she called her friend and got her friends voicemail. Another employee who was really nice encouraged my husband and I to hang around or go get dessert and come back. I didnt want to make my husband stand around for an hour, but hes a sweetheart and said it was okay, wed wait. So we did. Blew an hour standing around killing time after wed already been through the mall shopping the day before. The weekend manager told me I could leave my name and number and if her friend didnt come in by 5:00, shed hold the item for me for 24 hours. I said, I was in here well before 4:00 yesterday and that hold tag was already on the item - so if your policy is a 24-hour hold, its well beyond that. Then she changed her story to well, not 24 hours, until closing.Around 4:40, after wed stood around since 4:00, another employee who was very nice and trying to be helpful and reasonable said to the weekend manager to just sell it to us. She refused. Then the managers friend called her back and said she couldnt get there by 5:00 today. But she wanted the item held anyway. When the manager told me that, I was stunned. She told me she was going to hold the item until 5:15, AFTER CLOSING! so her friend could buy it. That was well after the time they said theyd sell it to me. I pointed that out to her, noting it wasnt fair to tell me 5:00, let me wait around for an hour, then change the rules for her friend - who could then come in AFTER CLOSING (!).When I told her that was absolutely not right, she said she was going to call the mall manager and get her opinion. She scurried off with the phone in her hand, clearly wanting to go make a call off somewhere else so I couldnt hear. She came back with the story her manager said - what a surprise! the EXACT words SHE had said! I dont believe she ever even talked to her manager - especially because what happened next was her friend called back a minute later (she likely had to leave her a voicemail again, she had told me the friend was at some reception or rehearsal or something). Her friend suddenly called out of the blue and said she wanted to put the item on her credit card right then. GEE WHAT A COINCIDENCE!!! . Im quite certain she called her friend and told her to call her back and buy it with a credit card. This was at about 4:55. The weekend manager then looked over her shoulder, not even looking at me, and said, Shes paying now with her credit card! then turned her face away from me and ignored me after wed been mid-conversation.WEEKEND MANAGER WAS ENTIRELY UNPROFESSIONAL. HER BEHAVIOR WAS UNBELIEVABLE. WE WONT BE BACK AGAIN.
Amazing antique store. They have all kinds of stuff
I had a real nice time checking out this place today ! They had almost everything, a huge antique store with lots to look at . I will be going back here to look again in the near future, but overall it was a lot of fun ! Im rating you with a thumbs up ! 👍
The items here are very overpriced and expensive. And they dont encourage offers. There are several items that have been there a very long time, and they will not budge on the price. They definitely cater to Chicago tourists. The staff is extremely rude. When trying to purchase a wall clock, the first thing an employee said is I dont think I can lift that. I then asked if it has a key, she said probably not, and walked away. They act as if you are putting them out when you have an inquiry and/or buy something.
Its a great place, love going to visit
Wow. I found some great treasures.
Very well kept and very large Antique Market. Visited while driving through Indiana.
