This is an update to previous review. Google cant seem to remember user passwords, so had to create new account.I spoke with Marsha, the owner. She came out and measured for my awning. We then set up a time for her company to come out and install the awning (she had collected the 50% down payment already.) She told me it would only take a day to install the awning. It took them eight days. It seems the installers dont keep their trucks stocked with needed hardware. The awning looks nice but does not extend to the end of the house like I requested. Marsha had told me she did not verify her measurements and it shows. She was off by about a foot. The installers did not clean the fascia where the awning was connected to the house which seems logical to do. They also left a down spout dangling, left metal shavings on the ground (I have two dogs, not good for their paws) and cigarette butts strewn about. The awning gutter area is leaking at several points and isnt sealed on the ends. For the price of this awning, I expected better workmanship and professionalism.
Marsha and her crew have been serving NW Indiana and SW Michigan for decades. They have the experience to do the job right the first time. Go with a company who knows what they are doing, it is definitely worth it in the long run. I have worked with this company for over 7 years without a single issue.
Very inexpensive most recommended place if you need an awning or any kind of print on it. They did my awning at my barber shop Byrons Barber Shop downtown Chesterton and also the ice cream shop next door. Ill post a picture in a little bit when I take one
I spoke with Marsha, the owner. She came out and measured for my awning. We then set up a time for her company to come out and install the awning (she had collected the 50% down payment already.) First she said it would take 2 days as they had to dig post holes. Then, they realized they can attach posts to patio concrete and dont need to dig holes. Rather than do the job that day, she put it off first one then 4 days to the following Monday. She told me it would only take one day to install the awning. I got home from work and only 1/3 of the awning was installed. I sent an email inquiring why and she just said theyd be back the next day. No reason why they didnt meet the promised one day deadline. They didnt show up the next, nor the next. Marsha seems to have excuses why they wont finish the awning. It seems the installers do not carry extra bolts or tools on their trucks (seems like a logical thing to do). Also, apparently they are afraid to get wet or cold. It is now a week past the original promised install date and I only have 1/3 of an awning installed. I wish I had read the Google reviews before hiring this company.
Do not go here if you need anything done in a timely manner.. Two weeks turned into six.. it was only after calling three times did anything get done.. if you dont have the staff to do the job then dont accept the job. I recommend taking canvas somewhere else..
Dont ever call these people seriously who cuts peoples gutters without asking. Smh
