Original contact was through the internet team. Shawna was/is very helpful. Got us an estimated out the door price, we liked the price so she got the vehicle reserved for us. Once at dealership She came out introduced herself and Tim from sales took over. Tim is very knowledgeable and a great help. Once in finance office everything was very well explained and a very easy short process.Everyone was great.

Everything went for the most part very smoothly, we had to contact service department to check on vehicle a few times but other than that everything went very well.

This was a recall on my 2016 hybrid Malibu. The G.M. letter clearly stated I should be offered a loaner, but I was told that was not possible at this time. ( I did inquire at 2 other G.M. dealers locally and was told the same thing.) This was a classic case of G.M. over promising and under delivering.The service department was cordial and it seems at this time the recall repair is successful.

Service department has always been spot on with awesome timely service! Tim and Cameron are an assets to the company. Sales department went down hill when Bosak took over Harbor and the replaced employees with their own from other Bosak dealers. We had bought two new vehicles before Bosak took over and have tried two more times with The new sales team to no avail. They tried lowballing our trade in and adding unnecessary expenses for the vehicle we were interested in. We ended up walking out and was a big waste of time. We will not buy a a new vehicle from any Bosak dealer! We had just bought a new vehicle from a dealer 6 hours away two days earlier and and they must go to a different sales training school because they earned our business with being knowledgeable, courteous, respectful and most importantly fair with the trade in and new purchase as well. Told to bring car in at 7am for a simple warranty fix with a error message on dash. by 1pm I called and was told they would not get to the car that day. why was I stranded all day without a car and they knew they would not get to it. thankfully I called and found this out. we even bought the car there and got that kind of service. they didnt even apologize just had excused saying they were short staffed.

Love the Service Department but the prices are getting too high. May have to get repair quotes from other area dealers.

Work was done quickly and I was kept informed of all questions/changes.

We were on the toll road early on a Saturday morning to catch a flight out of Ohare to Alaska when we got a warning message that our charging system was failing. We did a search for a GM dealership and saw Bosak was up ahead in Michigan City. We pulled up there, stuck our keys in the drop box with a note and contact information, then got a Uber to the airport. We were at the boarding gate when I got a text from Tim the service manager that he got my note and he asked that I call him, which I did. I explained the situation and he asked if we needed the Suburban back that day and I told him we would not be back for ten days and would not need it until then. He texted us when we were in Alaska and said they found the problem, fixed it, and let me know that there was no charge beyond the inspection fee. The vehicle was ready upon our return and took just minutes to pay and get on our way back home. Thanks Tim.

Service Adviser Cameron was very nice and kept me informed of the progress they were making on my 2017 Acadia. BUT They do not stand behind their work. I had my Acadia in for a repair in December 2020, my vehicle was still under warranty and GMC had a service bulletin out on the issue. They fixed it but a few months later it was happening again. I went back to Bosak and found out there is now another bulletin out for the same issue with an additional fix since (obviously) the first fix didnt really fix the problem. By now my vehicle is no longer under warranty but I do have the aftermarket extended warranty with a deductible. I feel my vehicle should have been fixed under the first warranty since it wasnt really fixed initially but instead I was charged my deductible (which was 200 bucks). and if I didnt have them fix it for the 200 bucks I would still get charged their 150 dollar diagnostic fee. They didnt have to diagnose - I told them what was wrong. After calling GMC customer service and expressing my concerns I have still not heard back from them and since I need my vehicle I paid the 200 bucks but I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO BOSAK! Its my experience that they do not stand behind their work and only time will tell if this latest fix is actually fixed. Buyer beware.

I am located in northern Michigan and contancted them regarding a vehicle I was interested in, Shawna got back to me right away and was very responsive to all of my questions, AND they went the extra mile to deliver it to me over 3 hours away. This is the first time that I have bought a vehicle from Bosak, although I bought my prior vehicle from the former owner at this location. I needed to make a decision quickly, as my prior vehicle was totaled. Leo assisted me in selecting a vehicle after determining that the original vehicle I was looking at did not have all of the options that I wanted. He also went out of the way to make this a painless process. I am very happy with the vehicle that I have purchased and will a repeat customer in the future. The pricing at Bosak is very competitive and I also have always had a great experience with their service department.

We have had this car serviced twice here. The second time was for the same thing as the first time. We traded the car Monday for a Honda. We bought the Honda at Bozak Honda. The people in the service department were great. Kind. Helpful. But the Chevy Cruze was a lemon.

This location is always user friendly. I never have to wait too long for my oil change or any other work that I have had done there. As much as I travel, I always wait until I come back to the area to get anything done.

Fast friendly customer service from the time you pull into the garage. Competitively priced with quick lube type places for an oil change, filter and tire rotation. Even though I bought a Kia this time around, this Chevy location in Michigan City got the filter necessary for my vehicle. I cant say enough about the friendly people that work there. Plastic covers put around your steering wheel and gear shift, in addition to a thorough wiping down, provided protection during this pandemic. I will definitely use this location for all of my service needs going forth.

Appointment was at 4:15pm. Didnt get the car in till 45 minutes later. Was 5:30 before I got out of the dealership. They were supposed to change my rear wiper but they forgot. I was almost home when they called and said they forgot the rear wiper. But on a good note they offered us a free oil change when we being our other vehicle in on Thursday.

Found and test drove a vehicle I liked. Did not purchase same day-did point out a few concernsReceived a call a week later that they would drop the price. I set an apt for a future date.I was text and called everyday leading up to the apt asking when was I coming. (Very annoying)I arrived for my apt but the salesman was with another family. I was told since my apt was with him, nobody else could assist me.After a 2 hr wait (and being told several times that he was just finishing up) I walked out.I was followed outside and asked to wait a bit more by a different man. I asked him to drive the vehicle again to kill some time. SURPRISE! The vehicle isnt even at this lot! They tell me they took it elsewhere for a different customer.45 minutes later and the original salesman is just about done as my vehicle arrives back on the lot. (nice coincidence)NOW my salesman says he is ready to go home so passes me off to a different salesman.A vent cover is missing and they dont know where it is (it was there but loose the first day I saw the vehicle). I cannot get my phone to sync with the vehicle. But Im told to just check the manual when I get home to figure it out. (Turns out this vehicle does not have the hands free option at all)I was given a dunkin gift card left over from the holidays and a half of a tank of gas for the inconvenience of waiting around for nearly 3 hrs.

I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. The service was the absolute neccessities and nothing else. I usually go to the Bosak location in Burns Harbor and that one is far superior. Friendlier, cleaner, better service. Also, almost no one at this location was wearing a mask. The woman at the cash register put her mask on when I walked up and took it off before I had even walked away. Disappointed in the lack of care at this Bosak location. Nobody even bothered to go over the paperwork with me. Got new oil tho so I guess thats good.

The salesman was very friendly and wasnt pushy about anything. My son and his fiancee told him what they wanted and what their budget was. He did everything he could to do just that and they ended up buying the GMC Terrain! Great place to find a vehicle and salesman and the manager and the finance guy were all great to work with!

I came in not sure what I was looking for, but was guided right into a truck that met all of my criteria. Went back in a couple days later and sealed the deal and left with an awesome deal! I have been calling Sauers in Laporte for 2 months now to try n get my airbags changed. The service guy was rude, and told me EVERY GMC place is having pro lems getting them in stock. I called Bosak, the sevice guy was very pleasant n made an appt to get me in within a week. It took 45 min and I was in and out! Will definitely recommend Bosak. We used the Honda dealership for oil changes on our Honda and always had a pleasant experience there as well.
