Asked specifically for deck paint. Said they had it. I believed it. They didnt have the amount I needed in store but was assured the remainder would be in the store next morning by 7. Show up next morning and it wasnt there. My paint pro was due to start ASAP. Instructed to go to nearest store almost 20 miles away. Managers attitude was So what if my employee dropped the ball on this? I dont have your stuff and too bad if you have a problem with it. Went by my house to pick up a gallon of what I bought the previous day (the first time I looked at the can) and its stain!! Its.not even paint!! Now I have 5 gallons of unreturnable, (tinted) worthless stain. Im out a lot of money. Had to take my business elsewhere and got what I actually.needed.

Went into the store to get paint mixed for a job as a last resort. my boss has respiratory issues and is unable to wear a mask. the state mandate for masks states that masks must be worn except when respiratory health prevents it. the clerk behind the counter (possibly the manager) refused to serve us even after it was explained to him that a mask could not be worn for health reasons. he was rude and arrogant and exchanged some very unkind words with my boss over the matter. sherwin-williams in Michigan city has lost my business and our companys business permanently.

Great spot to select paint colors. Lots of swatches and books to get ideas from. Staff is friendly and helpful and quick. Plenty of supplies but they are expensive.

You can have any color you want as long as its black.
