Used to have a lot of respect for these guys... Brought my car in to replace one tire, but ended up having to pay for waaaaay more work (over $1200). That was annoying, but I understand that car parts and labor are expensive so I let it slide. One of areas that needed work were the brakes, so I paid for brand new brakes and rotors to be added. Got a complete new state inspection and was given a pass by them. Unfortunately the new brakes were extremely squeaky, so I brought my car back a week later to have them check it out. My brakes had never squeaked before they worked on them. They told me it was caused from the new brakes and rotors being intertwined with the emergency brake. Instead of asking me what my preference would be, they cut the emergency brake as a way to cancel out the squeaking. I was a bit taken back that this was their best idea on how to fix the issue, but theyre the experts so I said ok. Now it gets bad - I was under the impression that when you pay someone to handle a job whether its auto body work, painting, food service, etc. that if there was a mistake on their end theyd do the right thing and fix/replace it for you free of charge because it was their mistake and are now inconveniencing you. County Tire charged me once again for working on my car to fix a mistake made by them, which if you recall was to cut the emergency brake, essentially making my car unsafer. Ridiculous. But wait theres more! My brakes are still squeaking! Remember these are the same people that passed my car for state inspection after all the work they did. Obviously the issue was not the emergency brake, but more so spotty overall work when attaching the new brakes and rotors. Essentially I was just scammed into paying them to make my car unsafer. All that money and time Ive invested into a business that I had trusted for years has completely disappeared. I hope they can get some proper mechanics in there and take a course on moral ethics.

Bought three sets of tires from Steve for a couple of vehicles in the last few years. He and the team have taken great care of me and do great work at a fair price. Highly recommend!

Trustworthy auto repair shop! I have done business with County Tire for many years and they have always been very accommodating and honest. I am also in the car business and listen to the guidance and information they provide to their other customers which is always spot on. There is a reason theyre always very busy....a great reputation!

I highly recommend County Tire. Steve was great and treated us with kindness. My son is in college there and his car wouldnt start. Its always a gamble looking for a fair repair shop long distance. But the towing company from AAA told us about County Tire and they were correct. If you need help with your car...call these guys. They are very nice and provide tremendous customer service.

Super fast service on my cars A/C. I scheduled my appointment via an email link on their web site. They got back to me very quickly and set it up.The total bill was very reasonable. I will definitely bring my car back here if I need service in the future.

TOP NOTCH BUSINESS ETHIC is not normally what one would say about an auto service center. But these folks totally have just that. I had an issue with my hybrid battery. The dealership quoted me $3900 to replace it. Fortunately I discovered County Tire Center!! They recondition and rebalance the batteries. They brought me in and showed me exactly what they do. It took a couple of weeks for the process to be completed. But, gave me a loaner car while they fixed mine! In the end, the battery fix cost less then $650!! There were other issues with my car as well. When I drove away from there in car, it was like driving a brand new car!! I live in Burlington and will drive the hour from now on, to County Tire Center, for all my auto services! Thank you Steve, Elsie and everyone else. Super friendly, genuine people!!

I went in for a pre-buy check on my first car. You can tell they were very welcoming and knowledgeable. They walked me through what was needed and what I should look for in the future. From the time I walked in the front door to when I left, there was always somebody there ready to help with a smile on their face. Honest feedback, with realistic prices and a time frame of when its needed. They gave me confidence in my decision to buy my first car. I would completely recommend their services to anyone. Trustworthy guys. That is about the nicest best thing you can say about a mechanic shop and I said it about this one.

Beware. County Tire replaced my alternator and belt, marking parts up 100%, when the local standard is 20-30%. They replaced a 15 month old battery (24 month warranty; had not failed) without my authorization, charging me $186.12; Sanels sells the identical battery for $104.69. A bill that should have been under $300 they ballooned to $608.01. They never responded to my complaint about overcharging. Three mechanics tell me I was snookered; one claims hes heard similar stories about County Tire.

Best place to get work done on your car. They are honest and great at what they do.

Was new to Vermont and took my older car to get inspected here. Not only did they insist on replacing many things (some which need to be replaced), they then failed my car again saying that in the initial inspection they missed two things which was going to be over another $800.I took my car to another locally recommended place and while he confirmed that one of the problems was real, noted that the other was not legitimate.In addition when they replaced my front converter they used the wrong gasket which blew out and had to be replaced by the other mechanic.
