Scheduled a Covid booster for today, received a confirmation email yesterday, arrived at the store to find out the pharmacy was closed and had been all weekend. I understand that things happen, but call your patients and let them know.

This place is toxic and you should take your business elsewhere. I was only a customer here because the local mom and pop pharmacy was forced out of business a few years ago. They currently have a pharmacy staffing shortage and will randomly cancel their open hours (large swaths of them, including entire multiple day periods). Because they had closed so much, I couldnt pick up my prescription for about two weeks. When I finally managed to get off work to go fill my prescription, I had to wait in line for 45 minutes. Once I got up there, they had cancelled my prescription due to length of time, again, because they had been closing without warning for days on end.But heres the kicker: when I explained that it had taken me two weeks because they had cancelled so many open hours, the technician proceeded to be completely disrespectful to me, told me it was my fault, pedantically explained there is a national staffing shortage and that I would have to wait another 30 minutes and then get back in line (which was now out the door). All she had to do was apologize, recognize a bit of my humanity, and I would have waited. Now Im using the Hannafords pharmacy across the street. So yeah, its clear to me why this place has a staffing shortage.

I moved here a year ago from out of state and transferred my acct to the local Walgreens Pharmacy without a single misstep. Whenever I have a question, or signed up for a vaccine, I have been treated kindly and professionally every time and my scripts have been filled quickly, with a text to tell me they are ready. Great team!

Why would you offer PCR testing, inform on your website that results are available within 24 hours but then at time of testing, inform that results are not available until 3 or 4 days?? Misinformation.

I went to get two simple necessities. I had asked for an item that I was searching for just to make sure I didnt miss it. The two girls I talked to did not know what I was asking for (chlorhexidine skin cleanser) so they told me that if they do it should be on isle 5. So I said okay Ill check again. Before I had responded I noticed the attitude exchanged between the two of them when I had asked about the particular product. I walked away and checked for the item again and did not find it so I picked something else. I then go to get into line and notice that there are 2 people on the registers. 1 girl had a line so I went up to the second girl to see if she would check me out and she turned me away and told me to get into line. Theres a line When I got into line she then opened up the register and continued to tend other customers. I am rather unsatisifed with my visit and rather appalled by the indecency of these said employees. Given the experience I had, it was very unprofessional on their behalf and I do not look forward to encountering these individuals again.

I went to pick up medication (a narcotic!) for a friend and they told me they couldnt find it and he must have picked it up already. I told them he had just asked me to do it and asked when they thought he had gotten it... to which they said it didnt show that he had picked it up but sometimes things get missed. After 10 minutes they found it.... and never once apologized or anything. This is only the latest example of a string of bad experiences Ive had since they took over Rite Aide. I will not be going back.

Pharmacy Allow you to schedule a covid test for Saturday on the website but then call you a day before and tell you that they cant do the test saturday, and that they also cant schedule you for friday even though they are available.

Original Post (Fall 2020):Whenever we have to deal with the Walgreens in Middlebury - it is a bad experience! The staff is rude, information on the telephone is different from what they tell in the store and customers are more treated like kettle than humans!During the pandemic - they even closed the drive through! Really a bad experience ... go to the local competition! They are so much friendlier.Update: Feb/March 2021It seems that they improved significantly. I gave them one more chance and they were really friendly, attentive and provided good service! I updated my review from 1 star to 4 stars and I am giving them more chances in the future. It seems that the service might change significantly with the staff on the given day.

I can never get through to the one in Middlebury. If I go in after my doctor has faxed in script, after 3 days it still is not ready. I really believe the staff cannot handle the prescription load from another pharmacy that recently closed. The last time I was on hold for 52 minutes and eventually got a recording that the pharmacy was now closed. I live only 7 minutes away.
