Unless you have a new model Ford their mechanics cannot help you. The two people who answer the phone are dissmissive, condescending and rude. They get ultra defensive when you call them out on their unprofessionalism. If youre a young single woman theyll treat you like you dont know anything. Theyre listed with AAA as a place to get your car towed to. You shouldnt have your car towed here. Lousy service, unskilled mechanics and rude staff. Was considering buying a vehicle there too before this experience. Not anymore.

They recommend that you call and make an appointment for your service needs, but they sometimes can squeeze you in. Most warranty repairs on your vehicle are done within a day or two as long as they can get the parts. They do an extraordinary job on recalls. Whatever your service needs are, they get the job done right the first time. Whenever, you are planning to do trades towards a new vehicle, it may sound silly, but they would take anything as a trade. They mean anything. Theyll take your vehicle, boat, snowmobile, motorcycle, RV, travel trailer, music instruments, furniture, vinyl LP collection, etc. as trades towards your next vehicle and you would get a good deal. We were in Middlebury for a month and I needed to get my F-150 serviced. Took it to G Stone and was blown away by the service - very professional and courteous. They changed my oil and took care of 2 recalls in 2 hours. In Austin, that would have been an overnight stay. And the service area and bays are spotless - great experience!

Went in for an alignment of F250 and new windshield wipers because I found a coupon on GStone Ford website or 19.99 a pair for windshield wipers. I told them I would be waiting, gave them my phone number of course. Walked around and got some food. Walked back after a few hours and when I walked In they said they had been looking for me. I said why didn’t you call me? No real response so I said what’s up? They said my truck needed ball joints so it couldn’t be aligned. Okay I understand that but that was determined in minutes, wasted a lot of my time. No big deal, I’ll pay the the wipers and put in ball joints myself and bring it back for the alignment. 90 something dollars they said. I asked why? They said half hour labor to look at the truck and 40 for the wipers. Long story short. It took a lot of arguing over the wiper price on their website and they didn’t want to honor it at first. They said there cost for wipers was more than that. I reminded them it was a coupon from their website, lots of time of back and fourth and finally got it reduced to the coupon price. Also half hour labor for no alignment. Never again GStone.

Trudy was top notch. They got us right in, diagnosed the issue and promptly had it back on the road for our busy family. I was pleasantly surprised that Trudy handled all of the warranty calls and even better, they semi detailed the car!

I had an appointment to get my ford F 150 inspected for the first time since I bought the truck there a year ago. It took over an hour. I could see it taking that long if i didnt have an appointment, but i did. It was free and thought i would get a car wash but didnt. Probably wont go back for an inspection next year.

This review is for the PARTS DEPT. If I could give zero or negative stars, I would. I went to GStone specifically for FACTORY FORD steel wheels for my truck. I called and got a quote which was Ford Dealer List price. So I ordered the wheels. When the wheels came in, they never called me to tell me - I knew they showed up because my credit card got charged. Plus my credit card was charged for an amount that did not add up to what I was quoted. I tried to get a copy of the receipt prior to picking them up, so I could investigate, but for some reason was not able to (they apparently dont have the technology to do so). It turns out they charged me $10+ more per wheel then I was quoted and a freight charge that I was not informed of prior. My wife picked the wheels up, as I was out of town for work. When I got home and saw the wheels, I found that A) they were NOT Factory Ford Wheels - they were the same cheap aftermarket wheels everyone else in Vermont is selling for WAY LESS and B) they are all nicked up. I am not happy.

Brought our Prius in for a state inspection. It went it with an out head light and came out with a sticker and an out headlight. It also has OEM struts at 260,000 miles and are so gone it sounds like some one has a sledge hammer in the wheel wells and it’s hard to control. This was all missed for the VSI, we had expected to put at least $1500 into the car to make it safe, even though it has a new sticker we are having the work done, just not at G stone. When trying to address this and another problem the service manager and who I believe was the used car manager there was such a visceral reaction it was impossible to communicate and was belittled. Is it to much to ask for an inspection during an inspection? We want a safe car not just a sticker slapped on the windshield. We were more than willing to pay for a safe car. Clearly there’s problems in the shop. This is not just a bad VSI but a major safety concern to myself and other people on the road, very disappointed. We also had just bought a used truck and had to bring it back 5 times to have the 4wd fixed. We were also promised a full recon including buffing the truck and this still has yet to happen. The used car manager said after trying to address this not to worry he will take care of it and call us... that was 2 weeks ago and still not a word. The deal on our used truck a month later is still not compleat. IDK what’s going on at Gstone but it’s nothing good. What’s good is a CPO warranty if you don’t have a dealer who will service it.
