Awesome place! The bread is great, and the sandwiches are huge. Cookies are good too! Also a really nice staff. I had zero complaints and a great experience. The actual bakery smells really good too!

These guys & gals know how to make a sandwich! Nothing is worse than ordering lettuce on your sandwich and getting one flimsy leaf. Here you get lettuce you can sink your teeth into. Nothing is worse than ordering crispy bacon on your sandwich, and getting flimsy, greasy junk. (These things happen for me more often than not at other sandwich places.) Here- crispy bacon that crunches - yes! And their bread and cookies are excellent. Best is their consistency: weve been here many times, and its always this good. You otter try it!

I have mostly enjoyed this place. I do have to say though this is not a Honey Bun. I love your bakery! But you can not take a wheat roll with raisins and call it that. Maybe it should be called sweetened dinner roll with sugar on top.

Service was fast and my sandwich delicious. Their coffee was mediocre though. I got a cappuccino and the milk tasted burned. If you stick to pastries and sandwiches though, youll be fine. Everything is fresh and done to order. Extra props for cleanliness and the covid restrictions in place. They somehow managed to make the bakery feel both safe and normal!

Otter Creek made the cake and cupcakes for our wedding and they were DELICIOUS!! Everything was absolutely incredible, we received so many compliments. They even handled the delivery and setup which was a huge huge help. We cant wait to go back and eat more cupcakes—highly recommend!!

I would love this place but the fact that you aren’t open Sunday AND Monday is a total shame. Sunday seems like a quintessential bakery day to me. Monday I’m just selfishly upset about because it’s my day off. Hope you’ll reconsider your hours!

I’m not one to write reviews but as a vegetarian I rarely find good sandwiches and the Vermonter sandwich from this bakery is ABSOLUTELY something to write home about. Goat cheese with fresh veggies on delicious bread. The cookies, coffee, and hot chocolate were also fantastic as were the staff. 10/10 highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back someday soon!

The food was very good but the cashier was embarassing the customer before us over her credit card issue.

We had two breakfasts at this wonderful place while we were visiting Middlebury. The first day we ordered an otter paw and an almond orange croissant. Both were absolutely delicious and very fresh! The second day we got a couple of breakfast paninis on rye bread. They were also delicious but huge! We split the first one and brought the other home to heat up for breakfast the next day! Highly recommend!!

Delicious turkey sandwich, the cranberry was not too sweet and a good compliment. The chocolate eclair was top notch, the cream filling fresh and light. You must try!

I have never been disappointed here. Their sandwiches are loaded with fresh, local ingredients. Their pastries and desserts are made with combined decades of experience, and it really shows. Their employees are always polite and professional, but still warm and friendly. Its really hard to overstate how great this place is.

Great bakery with tasty treats! My favorites are Chiyos chocolate chip cookies and the cinnamon twists.

Hello Delicious! Every single detail has been mapped out from decorative paper straws, flawless cookies, deliciously fresh savory bites and a cozy outdoor space. Upon entering, I was welcomed and before leaving I was acknowledged.

Lovely place with good coffee and very friendly staff. Sandwiches are skimpy on the meat not trimmed well and pricey for the quality. Pastries are almost always great. But watch the cookies not always up to par. Fruit tart is exceptional.

The Bakery is Middlebury Central and should not be missed. Lovely atmosphere, squeeky clean, committed staff and lots of fresh foods and beverages. Bread, pastries, soups, salads, sandwiches etc., hand made and baked on site. On certain days each week there is also wood baked sourdough bread and pork or chicken smoked on site. And in summertime theres lots of shaded outdoor seating amongst the flowers.

Love their sour dough and honey wheat breads. We get bread and pastries frequently ! Their dinner rolls are excellent too! They’re a Thanksgiving & Christmas must at our house!

Friendly staff. A lot of variety. I ordered the Greek pita and an iced cafe latte, they were both delicious. I brought the moose gingerbread cookies home to my kids and they were so excited and proceeded to eat them right up!

Ordered the West Coaster sandwich on rye bread. The sandwich was quickly made on very generous slices of bread. The downfall is that there was only 1 slice of turkey on the sandwich. Would not go there again.

Went yesterday with a group of somewhat persnickety seniors, parked in back and went up good graded ramp--accommodated us (11 total) outside, but as weather was just warm enough..Lucky for us! Will return but with younger/smaller crowd. Yummy soups, great portions and home grown. DESSERTS are to die for! And they took a purchase order, which is the only way we can do business, due to our non-profit status...which was great! Staff was very accommodating, given that we just BOMBARDED them at the height of LUNCH! Cool place. Great owners.

Bad service. Slow, rude. 25 minutes for a panini and we were the only ones there. Very pretty food, too bad it doesn’t taste as good as it looks. We were there at 7am, so you’d expect the smell of things baking, Nope. I get a feeling nothing here is very fresh. All the pastries are very dry and taste like they’ve been frozen or sat for a while.Given them a couple tries and just not impressed. Their coffee drinks are downright horrible, worst cappuccino I’ve ever had undrinkable! They don’t make their food fresh either, they rewarm the eggs for their paninis. Even McDonalds makes fresh eggs. Their bread is decent.

The blueberry topped cheesecake was tough and rubbery and if it hadnt been labeled as cheesecake you would have never guessed. The fruit tart was not objectionable, just tasteless. Otter Creek Bakery used to have a wonderful reputation for delicious treats. This was just a waste of money as we tossed those treats into the garbage after two bites.

Wow... I went here for a sandwhich on the way to the airport and ended up buying a ton of baked goods for my wife and I. They serve delicious coffee as well. I had the East Coaster sandwhich, with crab meat and cole slaw which was great if you like seafood. Lots of other options as well. I highly recommend!

Great pastries and friendly staff, unfortunately I witnessed a worker touching the sandwhich I ordered with ungloved hands. I threw the sandwich away. Watched how the workers handle sandwhiches the next time I was in and again witnessed ungloved hand to sandwich contact.

Had a west coaster-1 slice of turkey, a little cheese, some lettuce, a smear of avocado and a piece of sundries tomato. This on a lot of bread for $9.00. Won’t do that again
