We always get our gas here when going to appointments.

All I have to say is I love this company. Very professional, worked all day, and went above and beyond in helping me work with National Grid. National Grid, however, is another story, but I digress. Would definitely recommend Champlain Valley for your electrical (or other) needs.

My AC died last week - and I forgot to call them until about 5:15 on Friday. Early Monday morning Dave, their air conditioning guy, called - he could come by late afternoon to check out the problem and see if it was a quick fix. He did, and it wasnt. He came back TODAY - remember, this is the SECOND BUSINESS DAY after I called in the problem, and were in the middle of a 90+ degree heat wave in VERMONT. Id been expecting to not even see anyone for a week, since Im sure theyre swamped with service calls!He found the issue, ran a new cable from compressor to fan unit (which is located in my 120+ degree attic!) and the air conditioning is working again and cooling down my house.Im VERY impressed with the speed of their reaction and with Dave for how he fixed a unit he wasnt familiar with. Both hallmarks of a true professional, and I will certainly call them again when I need service for my AC. (I call them for my heating system, too...) No question; Champlain Valley Heating and Plumbing are the people to call when you need someone to service your HVAC.

Nobody came to deliver the fuel I ordered so I call when I am about to run out of fuel and they are very rude to me on the phone and I am not even assured that someone will be here before i run out of fuel in the middle of winter.

Have worked with Champlain Valley Plumbing and Heating for many years for furnace, heat pump and plumbing repairs and have always done a good job....and I can be a difficult customer, asking a ton of questions! They just replaced my furnace and installed a new water tank and did an outstanding job. Dave Whitcomb and his team are the best! Honest and efficient! I recommend them highly.

We have called on Champlain Valley Plumbing for the purchase of a heat pump for air conditioning and recently a hot water heater heat pump.... Happy with the products... Very energy efficient!! Highly recommend David and his crew!!

Im not sure if this company is incompetent or dishonest. I sold my property recently and needed an inspection and service. They sent a technician out who told me that the furnace needed to be replaced. Luckily I had a tenant in the building who installs commercial systems. He brought home a diagnostic device and told me the furnace was fine. I called a residential furnace technician who serviced the furnace and said it was working at peak efficiency. Years ago, when I wanted a sink and toilet put in a laundry room, they quoted $400 and billed me $1100. When I called to ask about the discrepancy, they said theyd call me back. Never did. Finally, when I first bought the property, I signed up for their auto fuel delivery. I thought they were delivering but they werent and I ran out of oil.

Not happy with the plumber, as he took the the connecting hose, which was good...put the part in his bucket along with bad toilet seal..and denied that he took it to his employer. Roto Rooter came and reset the toilet and wanted to know why the plumber took the hose..i had no answer, as this man had to check the flow of the toilet, so we both did a bucket brigade to do the testing. I paid Champlain Valley Plumbing for the work that was done and asked for the part to be returned. I was told he left it here..lol..what a joke. Called and left a message for them to return part, and they have not gotten back to me. 3 or 4 days later the Company called to say the connected hose was leaking, thats why plumber threw it away...it Wasnt leaking, there was NO water on my floor...had to go purchase the hose elsewhere..oh well

Usually good this morning was able to get service try d 2 different pumps no go.

Purchased my home in June of 2017, Champlain Valley was great at setting up my account and getting my heating system inspected. I ordered my first fill and they came the next day. Things were great. I found out this winter that my house leaks like a sieve and i had burned up most of my oil tank. I called to request more oil and I also made it clear that i was running out and needed delivery ASAP. When i asked when i could expect delivery. The woman on the other end refused to give me anything better than a couple of days. That was Tuesday 12/26, Its now Saturday 12/30. I havent heard anything back, have yet to recieve my heating oil and they are now closed through the new year. Thanks Champlain Valley, I will probably run out of heating oil by Tuesday. I hope my wood burning stove can keep my house warm enough so my pipes dont freeze and i can scramble to go find Oil myself and find a new supplier. I gave you 2 stars instead of one because you were fine the first time around.
