Jim recently replaced the foam in three large cushions from our sofa. We asked for firm foam as my wife and I both have bad backs. It was easy to set up an appointment and it was a pleasure working with Jim. While we waited, the job was completed in less than the estimated time and it was perfect. We have been sitting on them for about a week and we love them. Will call Jim the next time we need upholstery work.

Top Notch!I brought Jim a cushion from an antique french day bed with foam that was so old it was turning into dust. Our reupholstered sofa was delivered yesterday by Jim and his helper. We are delighted with the results. The fabric we picked out is perfect for our living room. Jim had so many fabric choices in his shop and he was helpful to guide us in a final decision. The bones of the sofa were sturdy and worth having the work done. We will have another 30 years of a beautiful sofa.

Jim was such a joy to work with. He was very personable and helped myself and my significant other through the process of getting my grandads pull-out loveseat reupholstered and fixed up. This was originally from the late 60s/early 70s and as far as I knew had never been changed from its original state. It was sunbleached, fraying, had spent a few years at my parents where it received cat claw damage, and generally worn out in the cushioning. In short, it was a lot of work.Jim made everything from picking out the fabric, to dealing with the ordering, dropoff and pickup easy. It feels like brand new and all the corners and welting is very professional looking. His prices were competitive to other quotes I got and he was very upfront about the time it would take.TLDR: would recommend!

Jim and co are great workers. They took my walk in job and got it done hastily. The seat is like a whole new chair and is very, very comfortable with its 5-6 inches of dense foam vs the 1 inch of foam that wore out in under a month. Did a great job color matching the cover which I didnt really care about but they did a great job nevertheless. If you need an upholstery job done, I dont hesitate to recommend Hishmehs.

Great service and terrific quality of workmanship! I had Jim recover a 25 year old sofa and loveseat. They now look better than new!!! And it cost much less than a new sofa and loveseat of the same quality would have cost. Plus, I got to pick out the exact fabric and colors that I wanted - so many to chose from!

The cushions on my sofa and love seat were done, thanks to 5 years of wear and tear from dad and three crazy kids: the springs were broken and the foam was flattened. But I just couldnt get rid of my furniture because I love the feel, fabric and look of it. Thanks to Jim and his staff, I didnt have to: my furniture now looks and feels brand new. This is an amazing place and Jim is an extremely professional and friendly owner. I brought two bucket seats for my 2004 Tacoma and Jim gave me his honest and professional opinion. He gave me a fair quote, not only doing an amazing job, making the seats basically brand new and extremely comfortable, but the work was finished earlier than he initially told me. I highly recommend using Jim. I found Jims place only by online reviews. So I decided to give it a try. Im glad I did. I have a really, really, really (get the point) nice couch. The back and seat cushions had completely lost their shape. I brought them into Jim and he couldnt have been nicer. The cushions contained a high quality down feathers as well as foam. Jim was able to keep the down and reinstall new foam into the cushions. When I put the cushions back on the couch, it was like the couch was brand new again. Best part about it was that he was able to do a really quick turnaround! Call him for service!

Jim took a decade old Mitchell Gold chair and made it better than new. He was able to source the fabric the next day and had the chair finished in just a few days. You cant beat getting new sofa cushions in four hours! I walked in off the street with my utterly crushed back cushions from a discontinued Pottery Barn sofa and four hours later they were back in my living room good as new. Jim is a great upholsterer!I had a very expensive bed with leather headboard and footboard. Over the years, thanks to kids, it got scratches and was in need of repair. We did not want to dole out a lot of money either. I came across Hishmehs upholstery during online search and it was literally a mile way from my house.Jim did a wonderful job with my piece of furniture. He is very transparent and gives the client few ideas about what can be or cannot be done without messing up the furniture. Also, we were in a tight time frame and he dismantled and picked up the furniture from house and brought it back as well.I highly recommend him......My bed looks like new!Fareeha

I have a 21-year-old Buick and the upholstery on the cars ceiling was starting to sag everywhere. It seemed not long until it would totally fall down and cause a major problem. I got the name of Hishmeh Upholstery from my mechanic about a year ago when the problem was not quite so bad. I called him today about an estimate and he said to come on over. I figured I would bring it back next Monday since he was almost about to close shop. He said he would do it the same day or that I might have it the next day, so we came back (I needed a ride home) and he wound up doing it in about four hours.This kind of work is a little bit expensive, but not many people do it, and Jim HIshmeh did it property and explained a few things that might go wrong in the process so there would not be any nasty surprises. (In this case, a fixture above a passenger door came off and couldnt be replaced, but he told me it was a risk in advance; the pieces are all plastic, no hardware, and the plastic gets brittle over time).It was a pleasure doing business with him, and I will probably have him do two chairs that need some help.This job was for a headliner and he said he just loves doing them. Its rare you find someone so enthusiastic about their work, and its nice.
