Unparalleled customer service and knowledge for decades!!! My uncle Paul has turned to Flint Audio Video for all of his television, audio, and computer needs for the past 20 years. He has a very good working relationship with Gary. Last night my Sony 50 which I purchased in Los Angeles in 2008 finally gave out after 3 trips back and forth across the country. I really couldnt complain. Today I walked into Flint and was greeted by Gary. He kindly asked what I was looking for and what my budget was. Within 60 seconds he found the right television for me and he even knocked off an extra $100 (it was already discounted $300). Five minutes later Ross and Matt were loading it into the delivery truck. They removed my old tv (saving me the money and hassle of dealing with the town), and had me set up in a matter of minutes. they both were were very professional and courteous. I plan on doing business with Flint for a long time. Thanks guys.

We got lots of attention when we were purchasing our TV, DVD and Bose surround system, but getting someone to come out for service is like pulling teeth!

Flint installed the AV equipment in a home we purchased 3 years ago. Within our first year the grills of the outdoor speakers rusted. I called Flint and they replaced the grills. Sadly about 6 months ago I realized they rusted again. I have called Flint several times for replacements. I was told that they received two sets from the manufacturer but received the wrong items. Tired of waiting, I called the manufacturer’s rep directly who informed me that he never heard from Flint. Upon further investigation Flint had not installed initially or replaced the grills with the correct product at all. As we live on the water, marine grade/weather resistant grills should have been utilized. Shame on Flint for their lack of knowledge and extremely poor customer service.

Projector Screen RentalI rented a projector and screen from Flint for my wedding night! It required a lot of coordinating with Flint, which my contact Andy professionally, and flawlessly executed. Their techs came and set everything up the day of my wedding and I didnt have to worry about a thing. The video I displayed was presented smoothly and turned out to be a hit. I cannot thank these guys enough - thank you!!

Cait and Dan helped me right when I walked in. I wasnt sure what I wanted when I entered, but they were very knowledgeable and willing to answer my every dumb question. Used the 12 month financing option, and that was just as easy. I was in and out within 15 minutes with a great deal and exactly what I was hoping for. The technicians came right on time, were very polite, clean and worked quickly to get it done perfectly. I couldnt be happier with the whole experience.

THEY REPAIR APPLE PRODUCTS!!! I brought my laptop in earlier today for a battery replacement. My laptop would not even function. They had it ready within a couple of hours. I am speechless about their fast, professional service - highly recommended! They even removed some dated stickers from my laptop for free. Great people... great service - review written on my repaired laptop. GREAT EXPERIENCE.

Amazing customer service. I made the mistake of going to the apple store first. I went to Flint after and spoke with Aaron at the South County store. He was 100% more helpful than anyone at the Apple store. I purchased the computer from them and am very happy I did. If you are looking for great prices and customer service go to Flint.

Disclaimer:For all intensive purposes, this review will be an overview of the current business, not of its past, although its past may have affected its current state.Flint Audio-Video used to be my favorite place in the world to go, especially while my parents were shopping in the nearby Stop and Shop. I used to go to the theater room, and sit and watch movies on repeat, in an amazing home theater display room.That room has now been reduced to about half its size, if not less. The entire store feels rather empty. There is a lot of open space, which is nice for moving around, but not great for selling. Many of the TVs are quite small, nothing like the 90 TVs that used to draw people in to look at the more affordable options. There are only Sony, Sonos, and Klipsch speakers, even though an old banner still says Flint, certified Bose seller. None of the speakers are wall mounted.Its really gone downhill. But. The employees are friendly, and they are making an effort to recover. So. 2/5 Stars.

Flint installed a new receiver into an existing home speaker system. The receiver went bad within 3 weeks. They showed up and replaced it, no questions asked. Thats great service!!

Ten years or so after Flint came to our house to advise us in what TV sound system to install, we remain very satisfied customers. In fact our customer experience with it, from Gary,the owner, down through Kerry,the same ace technician who originally installed a fabulous system and still works there, could not be improved on and we find their competence and trustworthiness unmatched.Aaron who runs the South Kingstown office is cut out of the same cloth and has served the advice function on several Apple products we have bought and had expertly installed.

Worst experience from a repair shop. Dropped two devices off for repair the service rep said he would call me if any issues. Paid $75 per device for diagnostic and went back Friday neither device was serviced. No call. Nothing

We have always had good service at Flint Audio and have spent at least $20K there in the past few years. We are good customers. Last week we went into the store and made a service appt for the following week for 9:30 a.m. We spoke with the owner about buying a new TV, afterwards, we were brought to the counter where the technician made the appt. We told him that we specifically wanted the first appointment of the day. They said it would be 9:30 a.m. and he assured me that someone would be there at the appointed time. To my regret, we received no paperwork confirming that because we trusted them to keep their word. Appt day comes, we have rearranged our schedules to be home and no Flint Audio. A call to them tells me that they are coming between 3-5 pm. That is not acceptable when we made the appt for 9:30 a.m. Do not talk with their technician GEORGE. He told me that the owner is away for a week and that HE is in charge and HE is the manager and I would have to deal with him. He was rude, condescending, arrogant and unyielding. He was unwilling to change someones appt to help us today. It will be yet another 2 weeks before we can get someone here. He talked down to me, and hung up on me. That is unacceptable for ANY business. George should not be working with the public, he should be in the back stacking boxes. His people skills leave much to be desired. All the people who work at Flint Audio have been wonderful in the past. My last words when leaving the store were I totally trust that they will be there next Friday at 9:30 Now, my trust with Flint Audio is very low because of GEORGE. This may affect our future business.

Weve been fortunate enough to have a Flint Audio right here in our back yard for the past 25 years. As a builder, Ive had the privilege of working with Gary and his team of installers on many of the finer homes in the area. His team is always on time and extremely professional. This Christmas, bored with the normal shopping, I stuck my head into Flints to see if there were going to be any bargains after the holidays. A few minutes later I walked out of the store with a quote for a 55 Sony Bravia. I used the quote to compare Flints prices on my smartphone with BestBuy. Flint was lower and their installation package superior. I immediately went back in signed up for the day after Christmas, hook-up. A few minutes after getting back home to share the news with my girlfriend, Gary from Flint called and asked if they could come out and do the install later that afternoon, which was Christmas Eve. I told Gary it could wait but in 30 minutes his crew was at my door ready to do the install.Watching The Christmas story in HD for the 1st time was great. Its hard to find service like that. Thanks Flint!

Competitive prices. I was able to set up same day delivery and set up. Staff placed my TV on the wall bracket and even set up my streaming services. Hauled my old TV away. Highly recommend.
