Bought item from here and noticed once I got home with it it was broken I brought back and the owner caused me of breaking it and lying about it...I left and let it go she can keep the 6 dollars... Smh they will not get any more of my money

I visited the store for the first time. The staff were friendly, acknowledging patrons entering the store. There appears to be great items in the store. However, the drawback is that the story is small and too crowded, resulting in a less than desirable shopping experience. It would be great if they had a larger space to openly display the many interesting items. I will not be returning to this location.

Had a great time there. Found clothes and several other things that were purchased. Well organized. The owner and her daughter were very helpful explaining the pricing system that is used. Will be going back. And will be letting our friends know about Your closet or mine.

From an equestrian stand point- they have a pretty nice selection of english and western items. Being that we are in new england its more towards english side but still definitely a lot to choose from. Great prices. Lots of saddle pads- square and fitted pads. Stable sheets, fly sheets and some turnouts were there as well. English saddles and some western ones too! Show clothes for both sides in many sizes were available. Friendly staff and well organized store. Will definitely be back! My daughter got a good pair of paddock boots and a cute little pony sized saddle pad that shes thrilled to try out. She said she wishes she lived closer. Toddler approved as well.

AVOID THIS PLACE!! This is the consignment shop I usually use for the items that get passed up from other consignment shops. This time I made the mistake of bringing nice things. That should say it all but let me elaborate for you... This is not the first time I have had an issue here. Today I called to retrieve my items. It took them forever to answer the phone and when they did it was Hello? Very unprofessional, I almost thought I had called the wrong number. I literally had to ask if I had called the consignment shop. First I asked if I had any items left to which she lied and said no and that I have to bring in more items, and that there was only $4 in my account. That confused me because I had dropped of a free people dress, free people jacket, anthro hoodie and a fiesta ware serving dish among other items... Then she says I still have items left. So I ask if she can pull them and if I can pick them up at the door. Well excuse me she cant because she has to look for them and thats too hard. I used to work in consignment. I know they can very well accommodate and that they are just lazy and dont want to. No accommodation for people with asthma and autoimmune disorders durring Covid. Basically they stole my items. I cant get them back without risking my health. I told her I wont be bringing any more items there and I was hung up on. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!! I had to call back to ask another girl to mail me a check and the phone rang for the longest time before anyone picked up. I will only be using Savvy Swap Consignment in Portland from now on because Kerrianne is respectful, mindful of safety and has always pulled her consignors items for them even before Covid. Stay away from Your Closet or Mine in Middletown. Theres better business across the bridge in Portland. Wish me luck trying to get my expensive items back.

VERY nice customer service. Always very pleasant. I’m 100% about the giving my business to the small mom and pop shops and will continue to shop there however the store is pretty cluttered, unorganized, dated and in need of a remodel. Fair prices and lots of great sales and discounts going on at all times but was a little disappointed that they didn’t tell me that they were charging me a credit card fee where most merchants pay those fees. I just wish it had just been mentioned to me prior so that I had the opportunity to choose to pay cash on an expensive item. I also wish they had a rewards system for frequent shoppers (a punch card maybe) like other consignment places do. I’m not here to complain because I truly appreciate how they run their business minus a few needed tweaks. Just here to provide insight. Other than that I’ll continue to shop there and recommend YCOM to my friends.

I go here often. They only accept items in good condition so you dont have to worry about that. You get paid a percentage when the things you donate get purchased. There are things for all ages.

I have been coming here since my grandchildren were born 6 years ago. I bring in their clothes to sell and get some new/used clothes that they outgrow quickly. Lexie and Melissa are wonderful! The prices are very reasonable and I wouldnt go anywhere else.

I like this place. Its nice to shop here, and theyve got a lot. Everything from furniture to books to kids stuff, upscale to simply functional. Like any consignment, its hit or miss, but its always fun to look around. They do a good job organizing things so that its not too overwhelming.

Love this store. I sell clothes then get the cash. Usually buy something else in the store. ❤️

Absolutely amazing place! They have everything, really! SO much bigger inside than it looks outside. Owner Lexie is very helpful. Im going through a major move/downsize, like so many babyboomers;-) So much easier to let go of stuff knowing it may help someone out and be treasured by a new, perhaps younger family. Items that are used but in good condition and has things that arnt easy to find anywhere else

They sell the garbage and keep all the good stuff they have computers that are obsolete and have all the good stuff electronics is my specialty and i noticed the electronics is obsolete. I bought a battery that doesnt want to charge. And they dont have a good return policy. So if it doesnt work they wont return it.

This store tried selling me a fake louis vuitton handbag and when i informed them that selling counterfeit items is illegal they told me “as long as we do not advertise it as real, it’s legal.” which is completely incorrect. As a person who authenticates handbags for a living, i do not appreciate how they treated me when i was only trying to help their business. Eventually someone will report them, and they may get shut down for it. I will not be going back.

Rolling sales keep items flying off the shelves here so I often dont see the same things month to month. Not a huge selection of mens items but otherwise a good variety and fair prices.

This was the best consignment store that I have ever gone into! It was very clean and the people who worked there were very helpful! I couldnt believe all the clothes, shoes, jewelry, purses, furniture and many more things they had. They have womens, juniors, mens and childrens clothes. They even have $1.00 racks and all the clothes there went down by the date! If you are ever near Middletown you have to stop there!
