Everything about our experience with GenRose in Burlington, MA was fantastic!I found a tile that I loved and they were able to supply it for FOUR DOLLARS LESS PER SQUARE FOOT than where I had originally found it! We saved huge amounts of money!Both of their sales reps are genuinely friendly and helpful. I worked primarily with Paul who bent over backwards to keep me updated on when my tile would arrive from Italy so that I could coordinate with my contractor.The Chicago by CIR Hexagon tile we chose is nothing short of perfect. It never looks dirty, it picks up warm and cool tones, and it even matches my dogs! I love Genrose for all stone needs. Recently, floor tile and grout were delivered for our kitchen project. I really enjoyed working with Jenuarie throughout the process of selecting that and the granite. She is very knowledgeable and the selection is huge. If you are from a town that requires a decent drive to visit the Galleria showroom, it is worth it.

For our new bathroom, we ordered a sink and a quartz vanity top and adjoining quartz counter surface (to be attached at a 90 degree angle) from a supplier in Hartford, who contracts with Genrose. When it was time to get this installed over our new custom vanity area, the Genrose team visited and took dimensions. I asked that the vanity and adjoining surface be one piece - sure enough, the install team showed up about a week later with a perfect one piece of quartz, and did a great job of installing it. We are very pleased with the result, Thank You Genrose team!

Largest selection of granite, marble, quartz, and tile around! Shopped in the Middletown, CT location. Diane spent literally hours with us, making sure we got just the perfect tile and marble for the bath and quartzite for the kitchen. Eric was professional and meticulous with the measuring and templating. Rich and Nick did an awesome job on the installation. From first contact all the way through installation, process was smooth, professional, and organized. These folks have the process down to a science for sure. I highly recommend! If you cant find the perfect stone and tile here, it just doesnt exist!

Went to the Middletown location located in the Galleria Design Center looking for accent tiles. I found something that I was not looking for but was absolutely perfect. They were special order tiles unfortunately, but Jenuarie R. was able to locate a sheet that I could purchase as a sample. Absolutely gorgeous and different from anything Id seen anywhere else. I recommend both GENROSE Tile and Galleria Design Center.

Went to Galleria at the Middletown location looking for wall tiles to match some samples I had selected. Couldnt find anything I liked but found an unexpected treasure. I chose that as my accent tile and I am in love with my new room. The unique tile from Genrose is the crowning jewel.

We recently bought a home in Glastonbury and needed to renovate the entire first floor. Our designer, Stephanie Mazzulla, linked us up with Jenuarie. The one stop shopping here was amazing! The selection is enormous, customer service was top notch and the prices were more than fair. In one visit, with the help of Stephanie and Jenuarie, we were able to design our dream kitchen and bathroom! From day one to the installation and even after the sale the customer service was incredible. We had some questions about our counters and Jenuarie sent someone out,no questions asked, to take a look at it and help educate us on the maintenance which on reality will be minimal. Very happy with our experience!

They were OK nothing spectacular. I had a very small job had a quartz vanity top cut 25 x 19 inches. Sent drawings for my desired specs. Initially I got the counter top with a rectangular sink mounted backwards. I went back to have it reinstalled correctly. No apology, no mention of it. The backslash was cut 1 inch shorter than shown on the drawing, I installed it regardless. I found my first experience there to feel like I was shuffled through with no personality. Such a shame with all that beautiful stone and flooring available. You should slow down and appreciate your customers. Its a much more fulfilling reason to be there.

I am doing a bathroom renovation and I bought my tiles and vanity from the Genrose store in Malden. Mike McCarthy assisted me and he was so awesome to work with. Based on the general information I provided as to the look I wanted, he provided various combinations of tiles that he thought would work. The tiles and vanity have been installed and I’m loving the way it turned out!I will be renovating my downstairs bathroom next year and will definitely go back to Mike for assistance.Very happy with all my purchases! Would highly recommend this store as the quality of the tile is superb and there is a wide range to choose from and at all price points.

My wife and I went there to find side splashes for our bathroom sink. What we found instead was Michelle and after trying out 15 to 20 different types of side splashes, we had no success matching the color scheme.Thats when Michelle brought over to us, a trim sample ring. We took it home and discovered one of the samples worked better than side splashes. We returned and purchased a $7 strip that worked just perfectly for what we needed. That was the BEST 1 hour customer service that we had received in many years.They didnt care about the price of the sale as much as they cared about their customer satisfaction, Great job to Michelle and thanks for all your help. We highly recommend everyone to visit their location and hear what they have to say. They are extremely courteous and professional.

My husband and I have used GENROSE (Middletown)for 3 recent projects in our home (fireplace, kitchen and masterbath). By the second project, we didnt even bother shopping around at other tile shops. Awful experience buying tile for a shower repair. From start to finish, this company has operational issues that does not allow for even a satisfactory experience. There are too few sales people, too few inside sales associates to follow up on orders, my contractor had to wait over 40 minutes to pick up my order, and even then they couldnt find it. When he went back, they completely left out a box of tile. And that is just the start. My sales person was very nice, but she is overworked as everyone has decided to re-do their homes. This was my second bad experience here and would NOT recommend.

The selection of stone is phenomenal. However, I am not pleased with how my concerns with the clear defect in the edge of my countertop at the end or the gap between the two pieces where the seam is. I had a service call to have it looked at today and while he offered to caulk the gap, he completely dismissed the very clear defect in the edge of the stone. He wrote it off as being where they stopped the rounded edge...I understand the flat edge and polish as there is a shelf that abuts the edge, but the defect is a clear defect. Spending a decent amount of money, I wouldve expected to be treated like a valued customer and not made to feel like it didnt matter.

Bathroom renovation is the 3rd project completed with the help of Genrose. Michael in the Malden location helped with tile and countertop selection. With his expertise and guidance, my bathroom is unique, classic and beautiful.Their selection of tile and stone in the showroom and online is vast.Very pleased again!!!!!

In trying to choose a new countertop & tile backsplash, I met with Januarie & looked at various options. I left her a voice message to set up another appointment to finalize my selection & it took her over one week to respond. I left her a 2nd message this week to set up an appointment & once again, absolutely no response.I guess my business is not important enough & have decided to work with another stone yard & fabricator.

Superb customer service, wide selection and, best of all, they stock many of the items -- so you purchase and pick up your tile without needing to wait. I needed to match a particular Italian marble and they were extremely helpful. Very much appreciate the expertise they brought to bear on my project.

Whenever we have a project that includes ceramic tile or stone products we go to Genrose because they absolutely have the best selection in the State, in my opinion. In the past, our sales person was less than warm and friendly. I always felt like I was rushed through the process. Like they were more concerned with making the next sale than focusing on the current one. However, our recent purchase of tile for our master bathroom renovation was extraordinary due to the help of Jenuarie Reyes. She was extremely helpful and friendly. She made the process painless and fun. She followed-up with us a couple days later and had everything ready when we went to pick things up. It could not have been a better experience. Ive been in the commercial construction business for close to 40 years and I do not give praise lightly or often! Please ask for Jen when you go to buy tile or stone from Genrose. You will not be dissapointed.

I had a great experience at the Concord NH location. The sales associate Jules was knowledgeable about the products and designs. He listened to what we wanted and found us a great option within our budget. I would recommend this company to anyone. I had some extra tiles left over and they gladly accepted and processed my return. This is how a great business operates.

Went to a few places to look at slabs for new countertops. The enormous variety of slabs were great with very competitive pricing. We worked with Jenuarie and she was very helpful and shared tons of information about the different varieties. I definitely recommend them.

$3578 more expensive than the place I chose to work with for the same slap and same exact measurements. This place is the biggest rip off I ever came across its understandable to be a few hundred dollars difference but not thousands of dollars. I went to ITALIA GRANITE COMPANY on 41 Deming road Berlin ct let me tell you they did a phenomenal job and threw in a free $200 dollars sink.

I am DIY guy and I have dealt with both NH locations (Merrimack and Pembroke) during my full bathroom remodel project. Most of my interaction was with Merrimack personnel due to proximity and they were so patient and helpful during this process. If something was not available in stock at Merrimack I would go to Pembroke to speed up the process and their team was awesome as well (Jules especially). Finally, they gave me the contractor pricing due to the amount of material I was going to buy which was the best thing that ever happened to me. It saved me some serious money, but I ended up spending the money I saved with them buying the things I would not under my original budget. Overall, best place for bathroom, stone, tile type of project.

My partner and I must have encountered 8 staff members, none of whom acknowledged our presence. We were looking for flooring for our bathroom remodel, and potentially new fixtures. The only person that talked to us was the man in the carpet section, who explained he was an outside vendor, and couldnt help up. 45 minutes here totally wasted.

The assistance I received was exceptional. We were paired with a salesperson who walked us through each row of countless countertops that are very impressive. I am a DIY-er and handing over a task to contractors makes me nervous. Well, Galleria just finished install of my dream soapstone countertops in the old farm house I’m fixing up and working with them was AMAZING! Lots of showrooms in CT had a lot more soapstone, some had slightly better prices, but NO other store in CT had the customer service that I encountered at Galleria. Allison in sales would always get back to me on my relatively small project same day—usually within the hour. My little kitchen isn’t going to be a big contribution to the bottom line at Galleria (they are huge), but she made me feel so important. The one-on-one relationship, custom work on my stone, and even the template layout designer made sure that I got the cuts (showing beautiful lines) from my slab of stone even if it meant “waste” from cutting, the installers were very professional, made small adjustments on site and had great pride in their work. Everyone at Galleria kept saying the same thing, “is this what makes YOU happy?” Why yes it is!

My contractor steered me and my wife to smethurst tile in Malden. We contacted Larry who has worked with my builder for years. He was able to help us pick out both a beautifulBacksplash for our kitchen as well as tile flooring for our bathroom. Both products were very classy and added not only beauty but warmth to our complete first floor remodel. And too boot, they were very reasonably priced. He never tried to sell us something that we either didnt want or could not fit into our budget. And he made our buying experience terrific.
