We took delivery of a beautiful mower today. This was our first experience with M&H and I am impressed. The price was fair and the ordering process was smooth. There was no rush with the delivery and their employee took time to answer all of my questions and demonstrate all of the features of the new mower. I was pleasantly surprised to see that they delivered the unit with a full tank of gas. I will update this review in the future if/when we have opportunity to have any service done.

My mower is old, but was working. M&H picked it up for service, called me a week later to say the engine was shot and I need to get a new one. They dropped mine back off and the engine wont even turn on. Not sure what they did.

I had my Kubota tractor serviced . Cost me a small fortune. $731 and change. Used after market items for parts ( without my knowledge) picking apart my bill, charged me way over value price. Got a call, was told my battery had to be replaced ( wouldnt hold a charge ) worked fine before and still is now. Was told my tractor would get power washed. When brought back was just as dirty as when it left. One thing he did take it and do it right the second time. Totally dissatisfied . Would not recommend.

I just took in my self propelled lawnmower for a tune up. The tune up costs $200? (That seems ridiculous right?) They offered me a new mower for $5-10 more. Thinking I was getting a better deal I took it.The mower I got is not self propelled! Worse than that, there’s a warning sign on the handle that says it causes cancer and disrupts pregnancies?! Now I am afraid to use it. I appreciate that they didn’t take the tag off but why would anyone use a machine with a warning tag like that.I wound up buying another new mower. I didn’t feel safe using the one they sold meAll of this because I took my mower in for a tune up....I will never go back there. I would have rated them lower but their customer service dept. was very good

Stopped in for a new string trimmer. Was greeted & assisted by Matt who was a helpful and patient gentleman. He answered every question I had and took time to show me models with features I was looking for without being pushy. He began with least expensive before moving on to the bigger toys. After choosing machine I liked, he graciously matched a veterans discount from another brand. This was something other dealers flat out refused even when promotion was manufacturer sponsored. Start to finish, my purchase experience was 100% headache free. Matts customer service skills have earned M&H my repeat business so Ill be back when I need.

A couple of years ago, as part of the purchase for my home on the Shawagunk Ridge near Bloomingburg NY, I negotiated the purchase of a 1974 Cub Cadet 149 lawn tractor. I grew up working on cars and I thought Id be able to get it running myself. Well after replacing the carb and redoing the fuel lines, I could see spark, I had new non alcohol fuel in it, couldnt get the engine to fire once. I finally threw in the towel and asked M & H Tractor Co to take a look. They picked it up, replaced some parts, brought it up to fine running condition for a reasonable price. Special thanks to Hank, the semi-retired H in M & H, who figured out that the coil was wired improperly to the positive side, so that my 50 year old girl finally fired up. What a blessing this company is. They estimate a fair price, bring it in under, and fixed all kinds of problems I didnt know I had, since I never saw the tractor run before. They not only got the engine running, but fixed the PTO and the hydraulic lift. I cant recommend them enough. Ill be wearing their T-Shirt proudly wherever I go. Wonderful staff and a great Stihl showroom. They also sell Gravely and Husquarvana equipment.You cannot find a better company to do business with!!!!

This is a great family-run business and I really trust Matt & Hanks advice. Its important to me to feel like Im a valued customer, especially when dealing with power equipment; these guys really take the time to understand what would best suit my needs. The service is great and so are the deals! I know I can always count on M&H Tractor.

Was trying to get the salesman to explain the difference between two products. Isnt it your job to fully explain the product and ask me what my needs are. All I was getting was one word answers . Whatever happened to local Hometown service. It didnt seem like you wanted to even sell me anything. Overall happy with the product but the salespeople need to learn how to communicate with their customers

I have bought a tractor from M & H two years ago and I have been few times to buy some parts for the tractor, one time I needed a hydraulic house, and I needed a pin for the backhoe, and some teeth for bucket . They didn’t have it in stock, and I called them before they took my number to call me back and never happen. And you all know when you need something from a dealer that sells you tractor they supposed to have the parts to repair if u needed, but unfortunately not here.

I bought a tractor from them because they had a lower price. The preparation was poorly done (in fact bolts were stripped and parts damaged) which I didnt realize until I had the tractor at home and used it. The things I can see and fix on my own are not what concern me, its the assembly and preparation work I cant see that might result in shortened useful life. SO now Im dealing with the tractor manufacturer customer service dept to try to get it checked out and repaired under warranty.Forewarned is forearmed.

Have repaired my Scag in a timely fashion and are able to answer questions I have asked pertaining to the products they sell.

Dropped off a brand new Stihl Combi head unit because it was leaking gear oil/lubrication out of the plastic housing and down the shaft, and also running rich. Waited over 2+ weeks to be told yup we adjusted the carb, it was running rich and thats what the oil leak was from...... They never looked for other issues or anything like I told them and showed them. They then blamed Stihl saying they told them to only adjust carb and not look at anything else. Spoke with Manufacturer directly who advised me they never even got contacted regarding this. I went to pick up the unit to take it to a different shop who would fix it as they are incompetent.. I was carrying my daughter and the guy wouldnt even carry it to my car for me and just shoved it in my face. UPDATE: Stihl was great and Pine Bush Equipment in Pine Bush N.Y. Was great and so was Stihl... Go there instead.. Turned out the block of the engine and housing was shot and they had to do major work. Major OBVIOUS work without any issues or problems. They even were nice enough to offer without me asking and carried the unit in for me.M&H Tractor is a joke, over priced, no knowledge, and will never get my business.PS: if you want the best prices for STIHL products go to Herzogs Lumber in Kingston N.Y. and see Fran... I moved so thats why I seeked service closer to Middletown.

I just returned from another trip to M & H Tractor. Owners Matt and Hank are very helpful and knowledgeable about all of their products. Great displays of Stihl and Husqvarna line of equipment. Their service department has expertly serviced my tractor, mower, and snowblower over the past two years. If you are looking for any equipment, new or used, I would definitely recommend visiting M&H Tractor.

Ariens products are expensive but thats to be expected. The staff is very helpful.
