If I could give a -3 stars I would I bought solar in September was promised all kinds of things by the owner John, never delivered. I had to pay a double bill for six months because the process was not explained to me and I had to find out the hard way. I contacted my rep John several times for answers and continually got ignored I’ve tried to call customer service in Dallas nobody calls me back. If you want to pay for a solar system and your regular electric bill for close to half a year to a full year this is the company to use. I would strongly recommend staying away from this company. Overpromise and under delivered is what their slogan should be. I can’t believe it I have 25 years left with this company.

Bad decision to contract this company, got promised first month free waived for referral, grandfathered payment with previous ADT account which was a lie, and seller didn’t even show the contract for me myself to sign. Also if you gonna sell servíce don’t have your rep give false info like zenith is the one installing ecobee system on the ACs and giving 3 day free trial. Sell with truth and your company will prosper. Regret and advise not to commit service with this company out of the Permian Basin area, your better off dealing with ADT direct.

Spoke with Oscar, John and Chris one of there reps....They helped me through the whole process of moving to Solar... I looked at other companies including Viviant Solar but they were very pushy and over priced. Zenith is locally based and everything is in house which makes it an easier process. Thanks for all your help you guys and I’ll definitely be recommending you to others.

Ian and his boss John like to promise things and never follow through. They sent in the wrong design plan for the panels on my house and we should have been on solar weeks ago and John promised he would pay whatever is higher, solar payment or electric bill, due to the fact that Ian has sent in the wrong plans and being connected to solar is delayed at least three weeks. All I get is excuse after excuse. Now they are going back on their word. Very unprofessional, and I wish I could cancel and rip the panels off myself. They are definitely out for money so be careful!!! ZERO STARS!!!!

Darren was awesome. He helped us with all of our issues and was friendly and respectful. Will recommend to friends and family just based on the service alone. Darren is the only contractor that I would trust in my families house.

Good company. Scheduled my appointment to have my cameras set up quick. Daren came out, even on a Saturday when I have a day off from work, and set up my cameras and went over everything with me within 20 minutes. They were also able to answer any questions about my security system.

This has been the most stressful month and a week dealing with two security companies because this was handled wrong. I regret signing up, the office is really nice and the techs which is why there is at least 1 star but its not worth the hassle. I wish I wouldve never signed on. Hopefully they can fix our issues and I can up the stars but I just dont trust the salesman anymore. Please before you sign on consider hard those three days to cancel instead of trusting the sales.

If I could give this company a negative star I would ! Only use this company if you enjoy getting ignored ! I moved and had to remove my own equipment, they told me for a full week they’d get a tech out to do it. Then all of a sudden there is no red for the Lubbock area. I finally got it all taken out, then I messaged the owner names Oscar multiple times & he gave me the run around of telling me he sent my message over to headquarters to contact me & schedule! After threading to report them to the BBB magically someone called me to schedule an appointment ! I’ve never been treated so poorly by a company! I can’t cancel because of the contract! But please save yourself the trouble & do not do business with these people !

Doesn’t deserve a star rating.Company is unprofessional! There is zero leadership. Oscar needs to really evaluate his business and himself when it comes to ethics / quality business practices. Oscar and his employees mislead people, do not follow through with anything they promise and are impossible to get a hold of. Please read all of the horrible reviews / including yelp reviews.I’ve read several - and the one regarding taking advantage of elderly people is 100% true. It’s a shame. Oscar does not relate to good wholesome West Texas folks. Please find a local security company - locally owned by true West Texans that have real roots in Odessa / Midland. They will destroy your home with faulty equipment that they refuse to fix. Oscar hires his family to work for him / wife runs office and they will never fix or address any issue you may have.

Horrible customer service. Not willing to negotiate or listen to customer concerns. There focus and mission statement is - “ NO MERCY!”The customer is not allowed to know who managers are when there unresolved issues. Corp refuses to connect you with anyone that may be able to help resolve issues regarding equipment, monthly payments or contract cancelations.They also take advantage of elderly folks. Older people who may not fully understand the terms of a contract - elderly folks who are in early stages of Alzheimer’s who show signs of hallucinations and visions of ghosts and other imaginary characters running all through their home - which is the reason they are inquiring about a security system - they hear and witness these issues during the sale and go ahead close the deal.Once the concerned and involved family members see the monthly invoice from Zenith Security and realize their loved one- suffering from Alzheimer’s - has added a second security system to their home - (Brinks security was already being utilized) the family calls Zenith to discuss the account - which is LESS THAN 30 Days old - Zenith / Oscar tells the family sorry - we are not canceling the contract. You can buy the contract out or continue to make monthly payments. Zero empathy for the situation. Oscar took zero responsibility for closing a deal with an elderly lady suffering from hallucinations. He even admitted she discussed ghosts and other alarming scenarios during the sales call.Worst customer service ever!! 100% takes advantage of people’s disabilities.

Yeah probably the worst security system Ive gotten. They talked so bad about vivid. But theyre no were close to them. The salesman promised me a camera in the back, one in the front, and the doorbell camera. Turns out he was a little out of it because the holidays were coming up. The tech who installed the door lock did such a horrible job! Left a whole for dead bold so big where a kick could bring down my door. They promised to fix it and have yet to see anyone. Door lock fails to lock most the time.

I give only 2 stars because of poor equipment performance. My key pad goes out all the time. Also have trouble with video playback. They say its my cell phone service I dont know. But they are good about coming out and fixing it .its inconvenient because you have to be when they come . I work and Im pretty busy .

I would give 0 stars if I could. Sales person was pushy. My bad for signing up, that should have been my first clue. Equipment hasnt worked right from the start, even though we were assured our old vivint equipment would work perfectly. Outdoor cameras have to be controlled via a separate app, which we did not know before signing up. This came as a surprise to us. Now we have a faulty garage door sensor and even though one of their advertisements is they are local and will take care of you, they do not. After 90 days all equipment problems have to go through ADT, which is who provides the security. I think we would have been better off going with ADT directly because Zenith has done nothing for us, expect give us headaches. Avoid the hassle of trying to work with these people.Also note that after 30 days if you have problems with your cameras that come from them they charge a $35 service fee every time they come out, even if they have previously been out to fix same equipment prior to the 30 days. Should have stayed have stayed with Vivint.

Don’t ever go with Zenith! Biggest mistake. They do not keep there word nor do they try and correct there mistakes in a timely manner. I’ve been waiting almost 3 weeks for them to come out here and repair something that should have been fixed the day after I called and let them know. They say they are on there way to fix it and make you clear out your day and no one ever shows up, not even a call or txt! Worst customer service ever!!!!

Odessa, Texas Residential Location:Previous owner had a Vivint system (Z-Wave). Was told by Zenith Security Salesman that the Brinks Company are the ones that run it all. Exact same equipment they say. The Vivint salesman was REALLY PUSHY so we went with Zenith. Fast forward 6 months and despite the occasional random alerts (beeping, triggering), it worked okay. Now since the first of the year, we’ve had probably 200 alerts, the most the lady on the phone from Zenith customer service has “ever seen”, her exact words. I think she might be the wife of Oscar who’s listed as the President and has personally contacted us about the situation. Not sure, but she seems to be the same one that always answers. Sad that I know that. They’ve had 3 techs at our residence over probably 10 times in 5 months. Can’t set the alarm because it’ll go off for no reason (glass break mostly or sometimes “low battery”) Zenith has literally told us they’re baffled. They scheduled an actual Brinks “expert” to come out. He decided not to show or even contact us to tell us they’re not coming. Guess our time isn’t valuable. The normal Zenith techs have had to reschedule, as well, a few times. Zenith says I can’t get out of my 3 year contract. That I have to pay it regardless... so I’m stuck dealing with this for 2 more years? But they’re dumbfounded?! Even after changing out my whole new panel. They say they pride themselves on customer service...

So, originally I put a 1 star review down for Zenith. It was long and lengthy and we have had issues with our system, but hopefully those issues will be fixed or are fixed. Technician explained to me I need to be calling them locally, not the corporate numbers of Brinks (parent company or something to that effect). He came out after hours and serviced our panel because I left this original review.UPDATE: 2 months later and guess what? Still not fixed. We’ve literally had probably 200 alerts this year to something malfunctioning. Zenith called for help and scheduled Brinks to actually come out (that’s who they’re affiliated with) because “they’re dumbfounded” and now the scheduled Brinks appointment has come and gone and they don’t show and don’t tell you they’re not coming. Nice. On top of everything else? Then say I can’t get out of my contract unless I keep paying... uh that’s not getting out of the contract. We’ve had all hours of the afternoons taking up our precious time, they’ve changed out equipment twice and it doesn’t help. We can’t set the alarm because it will beep and go off randomly at all hours of the morning. The old owner had Vivint. The son tells me she definitely had no problems like this with that system. Apparently, the systems aren’t compatible as they had lied to me during the sales pitch or they just flat out are inexperienced. They tried to up-sale me on some new panel in the beginning. Seems like either a money grab or technology hasn’t been tested thoroughly. Feel like I should’ve kept Vivint or maybe went with the plain Jane, non-fancy (But Works) ADT system. Do not use these guys. The techs are friendly, but I’m not calling them to my house to hang out and be friendly.Another One: a month or more after that last updated review, the manager, Oscar called and blamed one his technicians on not fixing it right and pretended to not know what was going on with my system. There’s been several technicians as previously mentioned. Sounds like a management training issue to me. Another technician came out, the original one that installed it, Thomas, and guess what? He finally replaced more components and it hasn’t went off for no reason since, but it took the better part of the year to get it right. The only thing now is my remotely operated lock is duplicated on my phone app and doesn’t work remotely sometimes, but as long as it’s not waking me up at 3am, they aren’t touching it! Good luck.

I give a one star for poor quality of items especially the video equipment and door bell. It goes out constantly and never works. Their solution is to have someone come out, and that take hours, they do not keep their appointments. My biggest frustration is that I own the home and yet they spoke to another household member and installed equipment without my permission.

Only reason giving 1 star is because to leave a review had to. 1st, when you sign up the do not tell you you are under contract. You are led to believe you can leave at anytime with no extra charges. 2nd, to change you plan you have to pay outright for equipment and then pay to have it hooked up . 3rd, takes an act of Congress to get someone out to fix if something breaks, they are always late or just do not show up. 4th, where told we could not put control panel where we wanted and then had to pay $50 to have it moved to where we where told we could not have it in the first place. 5th, the manager/supervisor Oscsr never returns calls. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ZENITH!!!

This guys are a joke they would tell you anything to get you sign the contact the offer me a camera for my alarm and a sign in bonus well it took them 2 weeks and 4 missing appointments to finally put the camera on and the money never came then after two months and no call or answer from either my salesman or anybody else I decided to cancel my contract then and only then I get a call from some guy name Oscar claiming to be the owner of Zennith security treating me with a cancellation fee he even offer me money to comeback to them
