This shop has a lot of unmet potential. There is a lounge, but only one person allowed inside the store at a time. They have a walk in humidor, but the shelves were mostly empty and a little cleaning up of the random Boveda packs and other junk would have improved appearance a lot. They really didnt have anything in the way of accessories. The lady working was friendly at least.The lack of care for the humidor was the biggest concern. Cigars have to be well maintained and can degrade quickly if not properly kept. The cigars seemed ok but I didnt see a hygrometer in the humidor so Ill have to wait and see how they smoke.I really wanted to like this shop, hopefully they improve and Ill leave a more favorable review in the future.

I usually pass through Midland a couple of times a month on average so I thought I would Google a Cigar shop in the area and up came with Chatham Cigar. Aaron was a friendly fellow and very knowledgeable about cigars. He recommended a few brands to me (PG) specifically and I had a smoke while I was their. His lounge was very comfortable and I would recommend it anyone who wants to have a Cigar and gain some Cigar knowledge. Aaron has a passion for it and you just dont find that these days. Thank You... and I will be returning again.

I came in the store not really knowing what I wanted and the owner (not just an employee which is nice) helped me find something that was with in my price range from some South American which surprised me. I thought he was just blowing smoke at me when he said It has a smooth easy draw, medium bodied, with an earthy ceder tone and slight pepper taste at the end. Youll like it. When I went home and smoked it was exactly as he described it and it didnt cost me an arm and a leg. Im probably going to go back to get some more as Christmas gifts for some buddies.

Best cigars available. No junk cigars.

1 Star Reviewers: Admiral Tobacco is a few blocks south on Saginaw St from Chatham Cigar. I am sure they have the customer service, friendly atmosphere and tobacco selection you enjoy from other local shops.
