Just joined today -- found some pretty good deals. The rotisserie chicken is absolutely delicious! Fuel was 20¢ less per gallon there than anywhere else in town. I guess if I dont like it, I wont renew the membership next year.

If you have a choice between Sams or Costco, go with Costco. I had Sams first, then I went in Costcos, I bought membership that day. Better selection and most things are cheaper. Love, Love, Love Costcos

If u want to stock up on things and have money or bridge card to do so, its a great place to go.. However to use bridge card or anything but cash u need a membership.. They start at like $60..

Excellent! Finally a wholesaler in my town. Sams Club in Saginaw was the closest to my home until Costco built this location.This Costco has pretty much everything... Gas Station, Pharmacy, Bakery dept., Deli/Meat dept., Automotive/Tire dept., Electronics, Clothing/Shoes, Jewelry (real), as well as groceries.You have to be a member to use the gas station.

Ive been a Costco member as soon as they opened a store in metro Detroit YEARS AGO and love Costco. When I bought a new retirement home in Northern Michigan I would have to make a Costco run 2 1/2 hours downstate to get my Costco shopping fix. And now, theres a New Store in Midland 30 minutes away and I love it.. I went to go shopping and to have an eye exam and purchase a new pair of glasses. Costco glasses are the only ones that hold up to my lifestyle and do not fail...Ive had 8 or 10 pairs of them. Their lenses are the best and dont get all scratched up. Love that its close now.

Always love shopping at this spacious warehouse. The clothing selection is huge! Love the bakery, pet food, paper products, vitamins, etc. Their eye glass center is awesome, better prices than most places! Just a good all around store to shop, cannot explain it, must experience it! Gas prices better, too!

Good for somethings, Exspensive for others nice when they have something you use for more then a week. always changing the store around other then that good take and bake meals and rotisserie chickens worth the membership be prepared to spend alot.

Nice variety of products but I feel that there maybe a few things missing. Also the meat and produce could have a bit of a better selection. The prices are OK but I wont say they are the cheapest...

The store is nice and I like the variety of things available. Also, so far it seems all of the Kirkland brand items I’ve purchased have been good quality. I really feel like they are lacking customer service, though.. I had a bad experience today trying to buy a mattress. I couldn’t find anyone to help me and then when I did find someone, they told me to find someone else. I had to call the store (while I was there) to ask them to have someone meet me in the mattress department. When the guy showed up, he just tossed the mattress on a flatbed cart and walked away..didn’t even offer to help me get it out to my vehicle. I was pretty disappointed and frustrated. I am not able to load a mattress alone. Their employees obviously need some training in customer service. I had to call a family member to come help me load up the mattress. As I was walking out, I also noticed that they let their employees park in the closest parking spots to the entrance to the building. I’ve worked my fair share of retail and this isn’t usually allowed, so maybe there’s a management issue.

Great selections and pricing, extra wide aisles and ample room to get around. Staff is ALWAYS friendly and courteous, and the place is exceptionally clean.The premade meals in the back by the produce are all exceptional and great to feed a whole family.

Costco has a nice selection of many things at good prices. It is never easy to get out of there for less than $200. I need to buy blinders! Produce is fresh. Many great bakery items. Just enough different than Sams club to justify a membership at each one.

Its a new store so dont expect everything to run smoothly but that doesnt mean theyre slacking! Customer service is above average because theyre trying to impress. In-store selection is pretty good and I was surprised at the quality and selection of the meat department. Some items are a good savings but its too soon to see if the savings outweigh the cost of membership.

So glad the put a costco here! It has to be one of the largest costco store and gas station. As with other costcos, employees are very friendly. If you go there often or at least for gas... double dip with an executive card and a citi card for cash back.

Just came through self check out. Chick with the white and yellow nikes, that someone calls a diva. Has a horrible attitude. I was the only one there and she stood there and stared at me, as I clearly needed help. She helped after I asked. Then continued to stare at me. So much so that she stared at us the whole time walking out. I shouldn’t even say stare, more like GLARED! My 7 year old even picked up on it. Maybe she needs to be reminded this is NOT New York nor a runway with her attitude. I drive 30 mins here to avoid Sams Club. I certainly can go back to Sams if this is how it will be. We come here bc they normally are so pleasant.

Normally I do not give these warehouses a 5 star rating, but this one is exceptional. They are nicely laid out with a huge variety of products. Staff is accessible and friendly. Shelves stocked nicely. Produce is super fresh. Deli is always inviting.

Cannot express how much I love Cosco! Its amazing for buying things in bulk and you can even put somethings back after you open it if you dont like it! (Must be individually wrapped) I highly recommend getting a membership.👍

Im addicted! Its tough because we dont have a ton of storage space so we have to he careful to not overdo it since everything is in bulk. Great prices and the Cafeteria is great as well.

Easy to find stuff, clean store and plenty of room to stay away from people all at once. Had stuff I didnt even know I wanted it needed, but I have now.

This was my first time in a Costco. Truthfully I felt it was not worth the 60 dollar membership fee. I have a Sams membership which costs less and it seems the same choice of merchandise. They did not practice the 6 foot rule. It was nice but Ill keep my Sams Club membership.

Heres the deal, the store is clean, the deals are nice, but I pay a subscription to the place so I can access the deals, not so they can keep out the undesirables, and certainly not so I can be harassed every time I walk in the building to show a card thats either in my wallet in my pocket or pull open the phone app thats slow as hell, just to have to go through the same scene to pay later anyway since you cant purchase anything in this store without a subscription anyway. Its absolutely obnoxious and I wont shop here for anything that isnt exclusively Costco just to avoid it.

Staff is always very rude and rush you. One of the managers tried to unload my cart when I was talking to the cashier and I had 2 different orders. (1 business, 1 personal) I said excuse me but those are separate orders. His response was Oh no, I cannot. You can handle this. Sir nobody asked you to touch my cart. Stay on your lane please. Do not recommend.

Disappointed this is just a bulk and NOT a discount store so no real savings in shopping here. It does offer many items unlike anywhere else in my town so I make the trip for those and share them. LOVE the rotisserie chicken and muffins! 😋

The layout of the store is unusual. Im sure its something I would get used to. The self service checkout is NOT something I will get used to. Thats a great option if you only have a few items, but we only shop at Costco a couple of times a month and my cart is full. There was only one register open that had someone working. This is really not something I like and will probably go to the East Lansing store instead.

Picked up a prescription for my dog. Im not a member but you can still use the pharmacy and they have greatly discounted prices! I called ahead and the pharmacist was so helpful! She figured out the last expensive way for me to get the script and shr even applied a coupon she had on hand to help with the cost too! Over and above helpful? I may have to switch over all of my prescriptions and not just dogs! Thank you!

Very similar to Sams Club, selection is good, some prices are better.

Newly opened but well worth the wait!A membership needed and it is definitely worth it compared to other comparable stores. The service is fast and friendly and theyre signature Kirkland brand outshines by far.

This club is perfect for when you are running up north. The staff is so happy to help from gad to check out.

Whats not to love about Costco?! The gentleman working the gas station was very friendly and making conversation with everyone, so a big shout out to that guy for being so pleasant! The store had a bunch of sunday walkers...had to pass several people and maneuver around the slowness...but, it was a Sunday I guess and a newer store, so maybe more gawking?

I didnt go to get anything specific. I just like to go and look around and get whatever I see that I need. They have decent prices and a good variety of products. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It is quick and easy to check out at either the self checkout or the full service checkout.

Very disappointed in their selection of items. Foodstuff is very good. Beverages other than liquor are all cans except for Corona and Heineken beer. Pet section is almost non existent. Very few summer/water toys. Very disappointed.

We love our new Costco! Its nice to finally have one near us. Great selection, prices & location. Very friendly staff & open atmosphere. Also has ample parking a as well as a gas station.

Great selection of products. The store brand Kirkland is great, have not found anything that Ive tried of the Kirkland brand that I have not liked. Do have to watch prices on some things but, overall Costco is a fantastic place to shop, friendly staffing with excellent customer service. Highly recommended.

Recently opened. Helpful if you want to save some cash and buy in bulk. Also I recommend their car buying service and insurance options.

Now that it isnt the grand opening, it is a very pleasant experience. Nice wide aisles, plenty of space for 2 way traffic. Shelves were well stocked. And best of all, they had what we wanted! We joined on the grand opening day, and it is proving to be a good investment. Well be back 😀

This is the worst experience Ive ever had I thought I was a Saginaw townshipbut I realized that Midland residents are just as crabby as Saginaw township people..I felt like I was walking through a feedlot.. the food looks good but not that good..I also feel like I can get Kirkland meat from Aldisso why pay for a special card to feel like Im a special personwhen I can just essentially go to Aldis and get the same thing..

Not sure what the big deal is they seem very over priced unless something is on sale. Staff can be very rude too on many occasions, and very bossy at the check out. We wont be renewing our executive membership again. Sams club is a whole lot better.

Place is great everyone there has always been nice and helpful. Love food court. Hot dog and pop for $1.50 good price if it was a ballpark but its better

The store only has 2 checkout lanes with an actual cashier, the rest are self checkout. Theres always a huge line when exiting the store, to get your receipt checked. To keep people moving, there should be a minimum 2 staff members checking receipts. Have better security and theres no need check customer receipts.Self checkout, and waiting to get your receipt checked when leaving, is a huge inconvenience for most customers.

Nice Costco. Two of the main things we went for they did not have... Michigan apparel (college/professional teams) and take-and-bake pizzas. However we were pleasantly surprised that they have liquor. Our Costcos in southern Ohio do not sell liquor. I drive across the river to the Florence, KY store because they have a liquor store. So I was surprised to see the liquor just mixed into the store in what is usually the beer/wine section. My husband was impressed because they had small local distilleries including a bourbon from Covington, Kentucky and whiskey from grand traverse distillery... For mush less than they were selling it at the Meijer in traverse city.

We went for the first time the other day and were impressed! Amazing deals in our opinion for just moving to the area we needed to stock up on some bulk items so this was a great option. Staff was friendly, the store was spotless and the prices were displayed clearly. Really enjoyed it! Also I have to mention their produce and meat area was fabulous!!! Loved all the prepped food such as salads, alfredo, mac & cheese, cheesy potatoes, ribs etc. were delicious looking! Will be going back.... tomorrow! hah

The only thing more annoying then having someone check your receipt is when they try to force you to wait in line to do it. I always go online and give a 1 star review to stores that check my receipt especially when there is a line the whole process feels rude.Went back to Costco again about 2 weeks later 10 people in line at the door. Definitely not renewing my membership.

Ive been waiting for the newness of this Costco to wear out, but it hasnt. Employees are very friendly and helpful. Store is tidy and well organized. I had to pump gas in frigid temps this morning and the gas station attendant was so warm and welcoming - made standing out in the cold not as bad!

Ive been to a few In Michigan, but the Midland Costco is hands down the best !!

As usual we were able to find their current specials that are basic needs such as an over the counter medicine that is the least expensive of any vendor. And as usual, we picked up more than planned which will be enjoyed.

Membership is $120, to a wholesale club. Their prices are extremely high. Eggs low one time, high the next. It is a meth you get better deals at Costco. For the average retired person cant afford to shop there.

I love Costco why does the company insist on no signage for the aisles? It is so frustrating to find products. They last two visits I just left couldnt locate someone to ask for items I was looking for after walking half the aisles too frustrating.

Nice variety of products. Affordable prices. Food proportions are multiple packs or super sized. Cant enter without a Costco card, if you dont have one they will direct you to the front desk where you can purchase one.

We have been members and Costco shoppers for over 10 years. Covid is keeping this store down. I have never seen a Costco where gas pumps arent lined up and all register arent full. Hope they can get to full speed soon.

Store is well lit, clean, and organized. If you dont like a crowd dont go on Friday or Saturday it is a mad house! The associates are at every corner to help and very attentive.

They have everything and the workers seem to really enjoy their job. The place was really clean and everyone had a mask on. Looking forward to returning!

Exploring a Costco membership rather than renewing my Sams Club. Noticeable difference in selection at Costco versus Sams. Prices are comparable on like items. Wasn’t sold, as Costco doesn’t offer the key items I go to Sams for. Also there memberships are higher. Sticking with Sams for now.

Still after 3 years its still a great experience each time. Thank you to the hard working associates for making the store such a pleasure to shop!
