Patches and scraps sold me three machines, embroidery, serger and a basic machine, but never sent the instructional videos on how to use them. I called 4 times over the course of several weeks with promises that they would send these instructional videos. Finally filed a dispute with my credit card company today. They should hire additional staff. Even a $10/hour high schooler could expedite emails. 4 weeks to send customers an email on how to operate their machine is unacceptable. April sold me the machines and Martha then told me “April was not available.” “April will have them to you by the end of the week.” “ “April will send them Monday”. This is the worst customer experience I have had in ages. Not that hard to generate and email with the tutorials I need to operate the thousands of dollars worth of machines I bought from you.

The name should be changed. The fabric choices are limited. This shop is good if youre looking for sewing tools and machines, but not fabric. I was very disappointed.

Still forcing customers, even fully vaccinated, to wear masks. If you cant wear one, dont worry, you can shop on their website! Lol. If I cant pick out fabric in person I might as well shop at an online store with better prices.

I bought a $8k Brother Dream Quilter 15 about 4 years ago. It arrived not balanced and took several months to diagnose it and has had issues ever since. I have called the store for support, one of the husbands has come out a couple of times to fix it. It seems to work fine for about 2-3 days then won’t work again.I have not quilted one quilt on it due to all the issues.I haven’t touched it in a year now, Today turned it on to try again and the display is not working. Another issue!! HUGE waste of money and no real help or concern from the store.Now of course it is out of warranty.I won’t be going back ☹️

Patches and scraps is a most stop quilt shop in midland Texas and it’s one of the large quilt shop I have ever been too. The lady’s help me find a fabric that I have been looking for. You could spend hours go up and down all of the row for fabric. Great people and great prices! I will continue to shop with them in the future.

Ive been here a few times, mostly just to browse and inquire about sewing machines, but they were always very helpful and courteous. They have an amazing selection of fabrics with so many awesome designs! Last time I stopped by for advice on a machine of mine that needed repairs and the lady there have me a super comprehensive breakdown of what issues I may be having. Really cant reccomend enough.

This is my favorite store.😍 They have everything you could need quilting wise. The fabric is great quality and they have so many options to choose from.

My friend lives in Midland. Im from Lubbock. Loved the store. It was arranged and easy to find lots of fabric to add to my collection. I didnt know you had to buy a fat quarter or 1/2 yd increments. It wasnt a problem but it would have been great to know that before I got to the cutting table, maybe post that somewhere. Ill see yall Tuesday! Im coming to spend part of spring break with my friend.

Took two classes recently I absolutely loved them!! Family owned very nice people!! Believe me I hate everyone 😂. Store has soo much stuff, I had no idea!! If you haven’t been go!! I’m pretty sure they have literally everything!!

Love this store! The people are knowledgeable, friendly and helpful, and I could spend hours just looking at all the beautiful fabric! I recently bought a sewing machine there, even though I usually buy most things online, I really wanted to buy a machine from a dealer so if I had problems I had someone I could take it to. Boy am I glad I did! First, they spent plenty of time with me, going over different machines features and prices, and letting me sew on different machines, and I loved the machine I ended up buying. Sadly, it started having problems about 10 days after I bought it, and I took it in, and they had never seen this before but resolved the issue immediately. This is excellent customer service, and I will be buying more machines there in the future! I cant recommend this store highly enough!

I make Memory pillows and needed a memory patch made because my embroidery machine was in repair. I was charged $21.25 to embroidery 19 words on cheap fabric with maybe 2 embroidery threads, picked it up and was charged $13.56 more than the original quote because the said they did 6000 more stitches!!! Abuse of the situation as I only charge $40 per pillow...Nope, never again...

Only can have 1/2 yards increment cut. But they do have a good selection of fabrics.

Great selection of fabric and machines. Could spend all day in there, except they do not have a public restroom! Very inconvenient.

Not only do they have seasonal fabric stuffed extremely tight in boxes in the middle of the store, I tore off my nail trying to pull a bolt out. The blonde female employee says oh I did that too, but mine was worse. Boo-boo show compassion for a paying customer! Picked out fabric was at the cutting table when same employee starts writing up my choices. She says so rudely you know these are only 30% off? I thought that one was 50% off? No read the labels, you have to read it this way. I responded we come over from New Mexico for fabric not a lecture. She continued on instead of walking away and let the person helping us finish up. I have to say the other lady was really nice and respectful. The blonde would not let it go, so I said fine keep your fabric and we left. I hope they can afford to loose $30+ orders everyday, because with this attitude they are going to.

They have a great selection of good quality fabric. The staff is friendly and helpful. The display items in an easy to find way.

Its clean and organized, but doesnt have a lot of what Hancock fabrics used to carry. Some of the prices are a little high, but thats probably because of overhead that has to be covered. Great selection of cotton print apparel and quilting material.

An amazing fabric store with the most friendly, helpful people I have met in a long time. If you love material snd srwing supplies make this a part of your visit when in Midland.
