I used JCs Alterations after seeing good reviews. I have an Under Armour jacket that I LOVE that UA does not make any more. It needed stitching and a new zipper. At first it took a little longer than expected, so I called and they apologized and explained they had a family emergency to attend to, so no problem (plus it’s summer-I can wait). Plus they special ordered a zipper that matched my jacket. I picked up the jacket and it looked marvelous: the sleeves that needed stitching looked like new and the zipper. I was very satisfied! And all of that for about $40! That’s a steal. However, just yesterday I I realized I forgot to ask them to patch the elbows, so I brought it in just now expecting a $20-30 charge. NOPE! They said since it took a bit longer than originally expected, they would patch it for FREE! They absolutely did not have to do that, but they did. I will definitely be using JC’s Alterations in the future and recommending them to everyone. 5/5!

Least helpful business I’ve ever been in. Went in to be fitted lady told me they don’t do that right now.. understandable with the times were in.. asked if they could give me an idea how to do it myself at home was told no as she disappeared to the back? How do you do alterations if you won’t fit anyone?

I brought material from Hobby Lobby in to have simple curtains made and two 12 x 12 pillows covered. Simple hems top and bottom to fit over a spring rod. No pleats, not lined, very simple. Pillows did not have buttons or zippers. So 8 panels, 6 sheers, all shorter to fit in a camper. The panels were pieced, which is okay, except she didnt match the print when piecing them together!! So about a foot down from the top there is a very obvious seam with mismatched pattern. Also, on one pieced panel, the top piece (that was added) the print is going the wrong way. I also have one panel that is going in the opposite direction as the rest. I am livid!!! Poor attention to detail!! I paid $422 for camper curtains that are noticeably defective!! For that price I expect perfection!!

They wanted $90 to alter a pair of dress pants. This is after taking all my business to these people for two years. You can’t make all your money on one customer. I recommend anywhere but here.

I had a great experience. I brought in some trousers and a coat. She shortened the sleeves, took the coat in from the sides. On the trousers, I had them tapered, and opened from the waist. She is so good that she used material from the legs to adjust my waist, and I couldnt even tell. Im so happy that I brought another suit that same day. Ill keep coming back. Thank you very much.

I run an in-home boutique and was offered an opportunity to have an open shop here and the staff just went above and beyond to accommodate us with open arms! I highly recommend this shop!

I emailed Manuela about alterations for my wedding dress and she was super responsive and helpful. My dress had a lot of beading and lace, which was clearly not easy to work with, but shes a professional and was able to take care of it without a problem. She was upfront about the cost and the timeline for the fittings. I think she did a fantastic job and I would definitely recommend her services.

Manuela went above and beyond to get my suit ready for my wedding. She made an exception to get it done so I didnt have to worry about it and the work she did was great, everything fit well. She is very good at her craft, but it has to be noted that she is unbelievably sweet and warm. I will be going back to her for repeat business FOR SURE.

Elisas place is youre go to for alterations. Very reasonable prices for this area. What made my experience so positive was I had torn one of my blazers at the seam. I was desperate and went to multiple places to see if they could fix it that day. No luck there. So I tried Elisas, the girl at the front was so nice and very helpful. The lady who does the alterations confirmed she could have it done before they close. She did indeed get it done. The repair looked flawless! They will have my business from now on. Midland and Odessa businesses have a thing to learn from this amazing customer service.

Just picked up my tailored suit. It fits like a glove! They did everything I had asked, and were very professional about it! No complaints. I will definitely be back to tailor more clothes!

Brought a bridesmaid dress here to be hemmed. I’m petite so I just didn’t want it to drag on the ground. Came back two weeks later and it’s still dragging over two inches on the ground. I couldn’t even walk in it in my heels without stepping on it. She actually said ‘that’s what you asked for’... ok. Why would I want a dress that I cant even walk in. Even asked if I brought in the same heels. Yup. Stop trying to blame customers for your wrong doings. Then had the nerve to charge me $20 more to fix her mistake. For an easy raw edge dress that is not double lined or anything. Awful customer service! Go to Palacio’s if you want tailoring that is actually good and great customer service. Never again.

Quality of work is good. Just make sure you are very specific with your instructions of what you want done and ask for an estimate. What ended up being done was not what was discussed. Get it in writing if you have to.

Ive taken allot of clothes due to weight loss, Ive taken everything from sport coats to bomber jackets, winter coats and they do an amazing job and leave everything at a perfect fit.

I had a suit jacket and pants altered. Price were very reasonable and alterations were completed before expected finish date. Very professional!

Not particularly thrilled with my visit, there was a lack of pricing transparency (more expensive that originally quoted) and a disregard for timeliness. Requested to pick up garment in a week and it was not ready until 6 pm of the final day. Quality of the work that was done was good.

Absolutely horrible!!! DONT go here. I needed a new zipper put in some pants I called them to get a price. They said a new zipper is $18.00 I said okay what if I need a rush she said $10.00 extra $28.00 I agreed told her I would be there. When I get there they say oh its $25.00 plus 10.00 so why tell me a lower price then when I drive there raise the price. Then she said what time did you call I showed her where I spoke to them and she said sorry thats what Im charging. Poor business practices. Stay away from this place Im not the only one this happen to if you read the reviews. 😡😟

Had pair of dress pants coming unhemmed by pocket, maybe 3/4 of inch long. When I took pants the lady told me $10 and 2 weeks, just went and picked up today and charged me $17.33, when I said the lady told me $10 an older lady came out of the back and the 2 of them started talking in spanish and I guess they dont know but some white people understand spanish and didnt really appreciate them saying its ok to charge the white guy more anyway. Wont be going back unless its emergency and will ask for estimate in WRITING because if you are white they will cheat you
